Danny Serfer's good-bye letter to his loyal customers.
Astrida M.

Blue Collar's owner, Danny Serfer, announced 3 days ago that he is closing his very popular restaurant on May 17, 2026, after being open for 14 years. This is very sad for a lot of his faithful customers. We loved the comfort food and the cool vibe while we were there. Good luck to you, Danny, and we hope you will return to the restaurant business again. Thank you!

Amazing food. Good service. Fun vibe and atmosphere. This is the new location across the street. Small parking lot that could be an issue if they are swamped. We had a res, and were immediately seated. The server was on Point and made sure everything was perfect. It is a very small, quaint sorta spot. Not exactly romantic, but definitely intimate. The food was all super. Great flavors. Fresh. Tasty. Unique. The drink menu was fun too. A good list, and lots of unique options. I had the Soylent Green which is a play on the Incredible Hulk. Awesome. Great spot! Check em out.

This restaurant is a gem. My Jambalaya had some kicks to it. The Big Ragout was really nice as well. I love on site parking. That saves us a lot of headache. Easy, laidback outdoor bar with quality staff & service. I wish I lived in Miami!

First time here since they moved across the street. The best burger and fries I've had in years! I love this space. I used to come here a lot and actually looked for Blue Collar for months until I called to make sure they're still open. FYI, the Pulled Pork Benedict is still here. You just have to come on the weekend. Still great food at good prices. Enjoy!

It's such a cute little spot on the corner. While the parking lot is small we did manage to find a spot . I like how attentive all of the waiters were! The service was really great ! All the portion sizes were good as well

It's a solid 2.5 stars. I really don't understand the ratings and popularity. Bar food quality meal and subpar service. We came in for a quick bite at 6 pm, ordered a salad and their "best cheesesteak outside Philly". 30 min later, a salad comes out. Our waitress comes out to inform us that "unfortunately we are out of hoagies, therefore you need to order something other than our signature cheesesteak". Understood. I am sitting with my salad, and my partner is waiting for his meal for another 30 min. Any good restaurant will offer something to a person who ended up with no food. My salad was getting soggy, I proceeded to eat it. By the time his burger came out - I was finished. So much for a dinner together. Btw the food was just ok. I don't think it's worth the hype.

Decided to have a night out with a friend and came across this lovely gem. The restaurant had this modern cozy aesthetic to it. We decided to just do appetizers for the night and the waitress was kind enough to guide us through the menu. We ordered a wedge salad, mussels, conch fritters, and buffalo wings. The two stars of the show were the mussels and conch fritters. Both items had so much flavor packed into them. Highly recommend these two items. Although, next time I would ask to hold the pancetta on the mussels. For desserts we did the milk cookies and banana bread pudding. The banana bread pudding was scrumptious and the whipped cream on the side completed the dish. I will definitely be coming back.

Miami Spice 2025 - depending on how you order, Blue Collar can be one of the best Miami Spice values. Pick any appetizer or salad, main, and dessert for $45. We ordered: shrimp and grits, duck confit, quesadilla, filet mignon, crispy skin, snapper caramel bread, pudding, and Keylime pie. Everything was delicious! I particularly enjoyed my choices. The quesadilla was hot and crispy, with plenty of duck. The crispy skin snapper was super tasty and I loved the texture. You can pick two veggies with the entrees. I loved the braised cabbage. It was sweet and went well with the fish. The crispy brussels sprouts were good, but I have had better brussels. I think the desserts were smaller than the regular portion, but that was fine. Service was friendly and efficient. This was my first time at the new location, which is definitely a step above the original location. Parking is at the side of the building.

First time here at Blue Collar for their Miami Spice 2024!!! Tbh one of the best deals out of hundreds of places to eat here in Miami right now. Miami Spice Menu - Choose any appetizer, entrée, and dessert for $30 lunch or $45 dinner. We ordered the jalapeño breads which had a bit of a kick and Latkes Royal for appetizers. For entrees we had the chicken cordon blue with pork n beans and sweet plantains. As well as the Grilled Faroe Island Salmon with mashed potatoes and Pork n beans. The salmon had so much flavor with a crispy top. Delicious! The pork n beans give you a punch of different meat flavors from sausages and bacon! Lastly for dessert we order the key lime pie and health bar butterscotch bread pudding both tasted very fresh and homemade so so good. Our server was very sweet and informative and gave us some great tips on what to order. Food came out quickly and the ambiance was very chic. It was a bit small so parking in the back could be limited. I heard they moved from across the street and looks like a bigger location from the older one. Highly recommend to anyone in the area especially now for Miami Spice. ^.^

10 Years Later - Blue Collar is still GREAT! I've been coming to Blue Collar for 10 years now and the food is always GREAT! No complaints! Our server Jon, has been there since we have been going and always takes great care of us too! Food is always spot on, made fresh with quality ingredients, and delicious to boot. No matter what you order from the menu - it will be good - I've never had a bad meal or dish here. One of our favorite dishes for breakfast or brunch is the Brisket Benedict - the combination of the poached eggs and the soft and tender brisket on an English muffin is just perfection - so good. It's served as well with home cooked potatoes that make the perfect side dish as well. We also tried this time the buttermilk pancakes and their French toast and both were fantastic as well. Highly recommend! The absolute STAR of their menu though is their key lime pie - it's the BEST KEY LIME PIE EVER! Not just in Florida but honestly the best key lime pie I've ever had anywhere and that's a huge compliment. I've had family drive all the way from Ft Lauderdale to Blue Collar in Miami for the key lime pie it's that good. You can taste that it's always homemade and made fresh and it's the most perfect balance of tart and sweet - not too sour and not too sweet - which is hard to find with key lime pies they're always too sweet or way too sour. This desert was the first desert that our server Jon recommended to us almost 10 years ago and I can happily say 10 years later it's still our favorite menu item. If you're in the area with great service and great food that is always good and consistent I highly recommend Blue Collar. You won't be disappointed!

I think this is the next Miami spice deal that I saw. $45 dinner for your choice of appetizer AND entree!? Also when I stopped by it was HH where 2x1 cocktails were happening as well as other deals on drinks. The mango margarita and side car were delicious. A bit small but still tasty. This wasn't my first time there so I just knew I needed the jalapeño cornbread. I had the griot with mashed potatoes and peas. As a Haitian I know when there's some zoes in the kitchen. The griot was crispy yet still tender. Pikliz was spicy 10/10. I've been to Haitian restaurants who haven't been able to deliver on the flavor profile and having good pikliz. When I ordered I wasn't too thrilled about ordering peas but I was trying to have a balanced meal. The peas did not disappoint! Oxtails were good. Not spicy though. The cookies were small but gooey and warm. The shock for me was the bread pudding, you can't come here and not get it. And the pairing with the whipped cream was unexpected. Our server was fantastic.

Grab some friends, make a plan for brunch, and head to Blue Collar while they have their Miami Spice menu. This is exactly what I did this past weekend, and we enjoyed a nice visit to Blue Collar. It wasn't too busy when we arrived (around 12:30pm), and our waiter was friendly. Their Miami Spice menu is pretty varied for brunch, so I got the latke to start, shrimp benedict as my main entree, and the toffee bread pudding for dessert. The latke was really delicious. The salty roe paired nicely with the not salty creme fresh and the potato latke. A nice way to start the meal. The shrimp benedict was also good. It was topped with a perfectly spicy hollandaise. Plus, the potatoes were good, not as crispy as I'd like but still good and seasoned well. Finally, the bread pudding dessert was fantastic. I'm not super in sweets, but this dessert was a nice balance. It was the perfect amount of sweet for brunch. Overall, a good brunch spot to check out!

This was a first time for me dining here. Also, it was a first for me to dine in this Mimo area. The restaurant is popular and has recently just moved across the street from their previous location. Apparently, this location is bigger. The decor was pleasant. They have a gorgeous large chandelier in the main dining room with high vaulted ceilings. The building is intriguing. The light offered a romantic ambiance. We sampled their corn bread which was really good. It was buttery and definitely had a nice warmth from some jalapeno. It came with finger chili brown licking butter. My husband tried their cordon bleu. The chicken had the flavours but was a bit dry as it was over cooked. The sides he chose were green beans and asparagus and they were delightful. I sampled their warm and spicy jambalaya. It was hearty and filling. It included shrimp, chicken and sausage. We enjoyed our evening. The service was pleasant and friendly.

What really sets Cuckoo Clock Brauhaus apart is the atmosphere. It is not your typical German restaurant. It has fun Apres Ski vibes and a lively, cozy, social feel. They also host great events like Oktoberfest, Christmas Market, and Honky Tonk nights, which makes every visit feel special. The service is excellent, super friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You truly feel like a guest. It is also a great place to watch sports with a beer in hand. Free parking is available, and the location is just three minutes from I 95, which makes it very easy to get to. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed -- the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and has just the right amount of rustic charm. The food is absolutely exceptional. Every dish tasted genuinely authentic, clearly prepared with care and respect for traditional German flavors. The schnitzel was perfectly crisp and tender, the sausages were incredibly flavorful, and the sides -- especially the potato salad and red cabbage -- were delicious and perfectly seasoned. You can tell the kitchen takes real pride in their craft. The staff deserve special recognition. Everybody was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel personal without ever being intrusive. It's rare to find service that's both efficient and genuinely kind, especially in Miami.. Whether you're craving authentic German comfort food or just want a great meal in a cozy setting, Cuckoo Clock Brauhaus is a must-visit. I will absolutely be back -- and bringing more friends with me! Highly recommended.

There is something sacred about brunch…read more Not rushed breakfast. Not quite lunch. But that magical middle moment where time slows down, glasses clink, and the only real agenda is conversation. Brunch is where stories get longer, laughter gets louder, and the morning gently stretches into afternoon. That spirit was alive and well thanks to the beautiful comfort-food magic coming out of Morgan's Restaurant. Instead of sitting in the dining room, we did something even better -- we brought brunch home. The delivery arrived like a celebration in bags. When everything hit the table the first reaction was simple: good heavens, that's a lot of food. And thank goodness it was. I ordered the chicken and waffles, and friends... those waffles were nothing short of brunch heaven. Light. Airy. Fluffy in that almost cloud-like way that only a truly great waffle can achieve. There was just the faintest whisper of vanilla running through the batter -- subtle, elegant, and absolutely perfect against the savory crisp of the chicken. Each bite had that beautiful balance of sweet, salty, and indulgent comfort. Around the table the feast continued to unfold: * An overstuffed omelette that looked like it had been engineered by someone who believes breakfast should be generous. * Stuffed French toast that bordered on decadent -- golden, rich, and begging to be shared. * Eggs Benedict, silky and satisfying with that classic brunch richness. * And bacon prepared two glorious ways: - one beautifully crispy and savory, - the other brushed with a hint of maple syrup, delivering that irresistible sweet-smoky finish. And then -- because brunch deserves a little sparkle -- we opened our own prosecco. For the next two hours, the table became what brunch tables should always become: a place of stories, laughter, catching up, and the simple joy of being together. Because the truth is this: Time should be savored. And it is best savored with good food, good friends, and a table that invites you to stay a little longer. Morgan's delivered the food in spectacular fashion. We brought the conversation. And somewhere between waffles, prosecco, and a second helping of bacon, the morning turned into one of those perfect brunch memories you wish you could bottle and pour again next Sunday.
