We ordered drinks before the meal. I had a Vermont Red Ale for the first time which was very good and worth remembering. At this time they were serving'cocktails for a cause' in support of the Alzheimer's Association, which my other half decided to have. The drink, Fuchsia Butterflies ($15), was made solarium gin, house-made lemoncello, with a Gran Classico & Violet Rinse. It was quite excellent. I had a sip to try (I am usually not one for cocktails) and enjoyed the taste. Perhaps I will try cocktails in the future. For food we shared curry moules frites, well done, just how I like them, and salt and vinegar Wings - tasty but too salty which detracted from the dish. We ended with a good chocolate mint creme brûlée. The check came to $80 to which we added a decent tip for our friendly server, Triston. We have always enjoyed the vibe and cozy environment of this place and are sure to return.

Not the kind of place I really want to sit in and enjoy a cocktail. Dungeon like. The music is loud hip hop, not something I mind, but worth noting if thats not for you. I sat at the bar, and honestly didn't feel like it was super clean. I don't think the counter had been wiped down for a while. Staff were doing their best but seemed overwhelmed on a Saturday night. I was watching them make the cocktails and did not feel like it was very sanitary. They've got one small sink they're rinsing everything in, they were chucking stuff, literally chucking and slamming metal. They were dumping out people's drinks into the same side of the sink and then rinsing in the other side. But stuff was splashing into what should be the clean side. It's not a good setup for a cocktail bar. The cocktail menu had 8 drinks on it, 2 they were out of. Nothing had whiskey in it. I got a drink called Darjeeling something. Really didn't like it, didn't taste balanced and it looked different than someone else's who ordered the same thing, not sure if the bartender forgot an ingredient. The bartender also wasn't tasting the drinks which I usually see to ensure it was made correctly. This one had curry in it as a listed ingredient and it was just way too strong a flavor. It was a rum drink with some mezcal but it just tastes like mezcal and curry powder. The place was pretty busy but people were coming and going frequently. There's only one bathroom which really isn't enough for a bar. Seems like there's potential here but I didn't like the menu offerings and the sanitary concerns leave me with no desire to come back here.

A weird experience.... We walked in and waited by the front door and the "Please wait to be seated"…read moresign for a few minutes. No one helped us, so we walked to the bar and ordered. The bartender told us the drinks were covered by the host, which is when we realized it was a private party in the entire space. We told them we weren't part of the party and paid for drinks, but apparently we never should've been let in. No one stopped us at the front door. No sign. No post on their website saying they were closed for a private event. No post on their Instagram. Feels like whatever system they were trying to implement to enforce a private party totally broke down. The employees were very nice about it at the very least. We got two drinks: the Isuzu and the grape cobbler. The grape cobbler was okay - sweet but not much else going on. The Isuzu was SO bitter and I didn't like it. The description on the menu didn't match the drink at all. I wanted to like it here, and I've heard great things. However, it was such a bad experience and we didn't like the drinks, so I'm not sure we will be back.

The special was a dirty martini and a dirty martini burger. A dirty martini consists of a humongous hamburger patty , with outrageously delicious cheese and an olive. My sister opted out of the martini and had the burger sans olive. I tried the caviar hot dog, which is lobster, scallops and shrimp rolled into the shape of a hot dog and topped with caviar. The texture was not pleasing to my palate, though I ate half of it. I also opted for a lemon drop martini, which was ok. The owner came over and we discovered his birthday was that day. As a bd treat to me, he sent over what looked like gigantic onion rings. Actually it was dehydrated onions, loaded with mozzarella cheese. The outside was crispy and the inside was gooey. This is totally happy food. Both my sister and I are so looking forward to returning.

Every bite had great balance and you can tell they really care about the ingredients. One thing that really stood out to me was the seating. The Frida booths in the corner are the most comfortable restaurant seats I've ever sat in in my life. I could have stayed there all night. The atmosphere overall is fantastic. The lighting is mellow, the music is at the perfect level where you can actually talk without shouting, and the bartender was well-stocked and clearly knows what they're doing. Another bonus is the view. Looking out across the street at the park lit up at night is gorgeous and really adds to the vibe of the place. The only downside is parking, which can be a little tricky depending on when you go. But honestly, once you're inside and the food hits the table, it's totally worth it. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to

We ordered one taco each (different flavors) and neither of us could even finish it, it was that bad. Additionally, I have a severe gluten allergy and they were making an accommodation to what I ordered (grilled fish instead of fried), but initially when they brought me my taco, it had been made with fried fish and I had to tell them so that they could re-make it. I'm glad that I noticed, but because of that, I would not consider them food allergy-friendly and wouldn't risk eating there again. That being said, the waitress admitted that they were understaffed, so it's possible that we may have had a better experience on a different night.
