Regina is a fantastic representative of Bloomingdale's and has the desired qualities when it comes to a sales associate/manager. She is very knowledgable about the products, has wonderful patience, is very kind to customers, and is always able to strike up a good chat while browsing fragrances or skin care products. I have continuously returned to Bloomingdale's Glendale for my fragrance and skin care needs thanks to Regina. I really appreciate her thoroughness and her understanding of the products. Great Bloomingdales! Very well organized. Aside from the typically arrogant staff at these types of department stores I really enjoy this one. This Bloomingdales seems to have a much more colder feeling than the others that I have been to. Most of my purchases are done with no help because the workers are no where to be found if you need to ask questions which is mind boggling to me. My boyfriend had gotten me a gift of a Longchamp handbag for school and had been told that he would be receiving a gift card for his purchase but had never gotten it. It seems a little ridiculous for a high end department store to promise certain things and not get it. All in all, I would try another Bloomingdales because this location just doesn't meet to its standards. read more

1 star for convenient parking + 1 star for the wide shoe selection + 1 star for Paul -2 customer service just isn't what it used to be. I pulled into the parking structure off central and followed the signs to Bloomingdales. It was nice being able to park right outside the door so i didn't have to trek through the mall. Unfortunately customer service just isn't what it used to be. I went to make a return in the shoe department. Paul quickly came over and handled my transaction then went off to find some other shoes for me. While I was waiting two other sales professionals appeared they stood gossiping in the center not bothering to ask if i needed help considering i was still perusing the shoes. To my surprise the manager walked right past me no "hello or is someone helping you" and no one other than Paul acknowledged my existence. The purchase was great I didn't have to get up or anything Paul swiped my card on his phone thing and bagged me up. I then went on to look at clothes and had the same lack luster service so i left without a dress. From the reviews i was expecting a small selection and cramped space. It was the exact opposite. If you want good customer service schedule an appt! If you find your self in the shoe department ask for Paul. read more

Having grown up in the San Gabriel Valley, I've always had to go to the Westside to get my Bloomingdale's fix. Thank goodness they opened one up in Glendale. I went to the preview day and they had a huge selection in every department...but in a weird way. Sure they display lots of brands within the Women's and Men's department, but some things were also missing. They didn't have a Coats department which was weird. I asked for North Face but the only brand they had to satisfy that department was Moncler. Yeah, sure of course I'd love Moncler but it wasn't what I was looking for. They had a decent selection of handbags and eyewear. Almost all of the staff I asked for help really did not know what they were doing. Most of their employees are brand new and had problems locating a product in their system that I found out 30 minutes later was displayed in a different corner than the rest of the brand I was looking for. I was really happy I found it in store since I saw it on Bloomingdales.com but dissappointed that I wasn't able to be assisted so I could get out of that store faster. It was really packed preview day. But note to the staff that are still unsure of what they're doing...please get it together soon, the holidays are fast approaching. Overall, I still list Bloomingdale's Santa Monica as my favorite location in terms of product selection, layout, and customer service. read more

Miserable selection and crowd. This doesn't feel like a true Bloomingdale's so don't expect top notch merchandise like one of the flagship stores, especially the women's department. The high end clothing is really poorly curated and most is crap. Disappointing, as I was really excited to have a Bloomingdale's that's so much closer than the Beverly Center. I was here yesterday browsing through their perfume gift sets. I was looking at a D&G's Light Blue set in their Perfume section when this middle-age SA came up to me and asked if I needed help. I inquired about the price of the set and she said that "they're out of stock" on that set. I retorted back with a "NO, you're not!" and pointed to her the stacks of the same gift set located at the entrance of the store. She was speechless for a sec but managed to say a faint "Oh!" Then had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to get the set I was looking at. Of course I said "NO! I Will get it somewhere else!" and I walked away. This is what gives Sales people a bad rap. They're either like vultures or lie to their teeth. Bloomies better do something about their customer service for this branch. I've been to several Bloomies locations but the Glendale branch has the worst and most horrible customer service. read more

So I went to the Este Lauder counter and the sales representative was (is) a snob. I realized they had a Gift With Purchase and that it read," with a $35 purchase " she told me rudely "it's with a $50 purchase"... And didn't even say thank you... On the other end the Lancôme rep was much nicer. The store is immaculate. It has the best perfumes in town. Love Bloomingdales but I will refrain from going to this retail store again. read more

They made me feel like I was committing a crime for having a return (with an original receipt). I barely write reviews but i had to for the wonderful stuff at Bloomingdales Glendale. Last weekend I stopped by at the perfume department to buy a mother's day gift. I was in a hurry and couldn't decide which one I wanted to get. 2 of your employees Veronica and Amy (sorry if I misspelled) showed an amazing customer service and helped me buy my present. They were very professional and new they're job. Somehow they new exactly what I wanted. I ended up getting a Hermes perfume and I am so very thankful to them for their help. read more

The Gucci Store in the Bloomingdales is a disaster to say the least. Their manager, the caucasian lady with the ponytail provided the worst customer service that I encountered so far. All she does is try to put on a fake smile on her face and say "sorry" as if it's going to solve anything. They refused to accept a pair of sneakers back (that was purchased only couple of days ago) because "the packaging papers are not inside." WTF? You know what's the *beep* part? During the sale of the item they did NOT provide us with the return policy. For people who are going to use this store make sure you are *VERY* familiar with their stringent return policy. This is more for Bloomingdales online. I just had SUCH a good experience with them. I bought this chopped salad maker bowl last year, and it has never worked. It's been gathering dust in a corner because I went wayyyyy past 30 days without returning it. It was finally time to throw it out, or try to return. I went online and voila -- probably a full year later they took it back and sent me a gift card for the return. Now fair and square this thing really did not work, and was basically never used. But still, they made it so easy for me to return it -- that felt amazing. Hooray for great customer service! read more

I have been a customer of bloomigldales since 2015, the Glendale location is new it's nice but the customer service isn't that great! Always short staff especially during the week. The reason why I am giving them 5 starts is because of Ashley at the make up department coming to the rescue when no ones else is there to help! Even though she works for NARS she will answer your questions patiently and give you the best advice on make up! I think she's deserves credit for her great customer service skills. read more

Great products, decent prices, worst customer service I have ever experienced consistently at any high end department store. This is my third experience here, and the children's department was the only redeeming employee experience we had. They were nice and attentive and very kind. For this particular visit tonight: Not only was the elevator to get in broken from brand street, when we asked about it we got an attitude from 2 employees about how we should just come up the escalator with our two babies and huge stroller. I asked if it was going to be fixed soon and they said no. That is sad for handicapped people or families. As some have stated in other reviews, there is zero customer service awareness in most sections which is so sad. Some of it seems to be a cultural gap. Ask for where something is and people point uninterested, while most Bloomingdales will show you or be happy to answer you constantly have the feeling you are waists get their time. In December I had one of my worst shopping experiences there, I just thought to have grace on them because it was Christmas season. I have been back twice and will not be going back anytime soon except maybe to the children's department where we felt honored which is sad because it's so close and carries many of my favorite brands. read more

Recently purchased a dress from here and I absolutely love it! Their quality and the fitting is just amazing. I used to be a loyal customer at Nordstrom but I am switching over ! Also their customer service is the best. I asked for a couple different sizes while trying on some stuff in the fitting room and the employee found those sizes right away. Also just purchased a Louis Vuitton bag which I also fell in love with. Employees take their time to explain everything and answer all questions. Will definitely be back at Bloomingdales for a few more purchases!! read more

This is one of the most comprehensive department stores in the surrounding LA area. One big perk of shopping here is that they have a HUGE multi-story parking lot right next door. This really makes shopping here so convenient. In terms of selection, this location has all the top brands and designers. Customer assistance is plentiful in all of the women's departments, usually is a bit lacking in the men's departments. It can be a bit annoying trying to flag down a employee, but isn't really that big of a deal. If you're not in the mood to drive all the way to LA, this place is a great alternative. If you are not buying a product, they will not help you find anyting. They just want to make a quick sale (I am guessing they get paid on commission). Every one I spoke to was extremely kind and helpful. No dirty "what are you doing here poor girl" stares like at south coast plaza.
