Located at 900 North, this Bloomingdale's does not have a great selection of women's clothing, and sizes are limited. Also, several SAs were just standing around and were not offering any type of assistance. Note that you do have to purchase from one of the retail shops to get your parking validated, inclusive of Astor Hall. The sales rack are not organized, and some of the clothing is not of their best quality - we saw many articles of clothing that were snagged, had rips, or loose threads. Garage parking and limited metered street parking in the area. +non-existent service +limited selection of clothing +located at 900 North +garage and limited metered parking available

Nice store. Living in the PNW, we do not have the same large department stores like NYC and Chicago. The selection of items are much better than what we have in here. This store has a nice men's department. A very good selection on Canali sports jackets. Living out of town I chose to have mine altered in Portland. However you can get full custom alterations of your garments. The best thing about Bloomingdale's is purchasing when there is a sale. We will be back shopping there again and again.

Pretty Cool Bloomingdales Department store is located in a beautiful 900 shop building with other stores like J.crew, in the 900 building shops , there is a Toy store on the sixth floor and the Canadian Hotel Franchise connected to this 9000 shopping mall "Four Seasons Hotel "any, how the Gucci store is right downstairs inside the 900 shopping mall Right across the street from the 900 buildings shops on Michigan Avenue across there a Louis Vuitton store and Robert Coin Jewelry store and down the block there a Neiman Marcus department store to the south I believe, there a Teuscher chocolates -swiss store inside the mall building 900 shops mall, anyhow back to bloomingdales big shout out to Alex in the men's floor at the "Allsaints Boutique inside Bloomingdales " I was with my cat in my pet backpack, he was so friendly and helpful and a couple of people who I didn't get there name at sunglasses section on the first floor, there where very helpful when I was trying some Designer sunglasses on. I was on the ladies' shoe floor, and I'm surprised I didn't see any Saint Laurent ( Y.S.L) & Jimmy Choo, or Valentino Pumps/High heels ( Designer shoe section at this location ). I'm from New York I've seen Designer shoes at the Flagship store on 59 Street & Lexington Avenue, Manhattan, They do sell Saint Laurent (Y.S.L) & Jimmy Choo or Valentino Pumps /Heels which I witnessed with my eyes, I guess these location probably does online orders with Designer shoes Selection !!!! P.S. : This is top Notch Designer/Department store , There in competition with other high-end Department /Boutique stores : The RealReal , Saks Fifth Avenue , Bergdorf Goodman.com , Lord & Taylor.com , Neiman Marcus , Gilt.com , Nordstrom, Macy's , Dillard's.com, Century 21 Department store (c21stores.com) , Blair.com , Fashionphile.com , Burlington , Poshmark.com , Printemps.com ( N.Y.C Location) ,etc other high-end boutiques !!!! Very Convivent by CTA ( Red line-Subway system ), etc CTA buses

Fancying a walk in a luxury department store, I entered 900 North Michigan Shops when I saw the Bloomingdale's sign. Venturing into the beauty section I sampled the lipsticks with help from the sales associate and took advantage of the free gift offer and made a purchase. I love MAC cosmetics, especially their lipsticks so I was excited that I could indulge my weakness. The rest of the store was just as pleasant to walk through and admire the merchandise. There were lovely displays including a flower cart where a fragrance purchase qualifies you for a lovely bouquet. I would definitely visit again if I ever needed more MAC items.

The first time I visited, hubs was with me and we just browsed the store. We were planning on getting lunch and stumbled across the marketplace cafe so decided to stop in. I also stopped at the cafe during my second visit with my dog! Nordstrom is pet friendly, as long as your dog is well mannered. I absolutely love that! This location has 4 floors. There are several designer boutiques on the 1st floor like Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci, Faragamo, and Burberry. Every associate I interacted with each time was very friendly and welcoming. Some even gave treats and pets to my dog! My third visit was more quick. I had to return some items and that went smoothly. I actually interacted with the same associate I purchased the items from originally (Curvine S.) and she was so great! She was very helpful when I purchased the items since I left my Nordstrom card at home, and guided me how to use my card on the app. Great customer service at this location and I will definitely be back the next time I am in Chicago.

This location was a block from my hotel. Unlike my local store though, the footwear section was dismal. Everything was either orthopedic or for pole dance. There was literally no in between - except for these black patent leather jawns that matched the exact vibe of my outfit and the event. Score! I did feel like the 34.99 price tag was a little steep. These would have been 29.99 in NJ but that's the city upcharge I guess. The quantum quickness with which I scooped them up should be studied. Thankfully, the toy section was legit, too as I couldn't show up to my new nephew's empty-handed. Though perhaps I should have as the motion-activated dancing crab I got scared the living daylights out of him. Childfree aunt for the win :/

I needed to find my bridal shoes and she needed to start looking at bridesmaids dresses. First of all, this is one of the prettiest Macy's I've ever been inside. I'm not sure if this is a normal big city thing, but feels like the entire store was just Macy's and not a mall which was cool. There seemed to be a lot of special deals on different items. Most of it was what you'd expect from a Macy's in terms of pricing. We had so much fun in the shoe section. They had a gorgeous selection of shoes to pick from. I ended up falling in love with some bridal shoes from Dolce Vita. I was so happy to be able to order them for pick up at my store back home so I didn't need to fly with them. We also tried on some other gorgeous shoes like ballet heels. In terms of formal dresses, it felt like they still mainly had their winter selection out, so we weren't able to find the exact green bridesmaid dress we were looking for, but we did get a good idea of what looked good vs what didn't. I highly recommend coming to this Macy's.

Ok the reason for the 2 star review. The customer service is horrible. The workers are rude and lack etiquette services to their customers I went over to the Dior counter and there was no one there. I was browsing around looking at the various colors of lipsticks. Finally pops up 2 young ladies who I thought came to assist me. No hello or friendly smiles. I ask to try on some lipstick. The frowns and attitude of these young ladies. I was pissed but refuse to allow that behavior disturb my peace. After trying on lipstick, I picked the color to purchase. We get to the counter and was told to swipe my card. Excuse Me. She didn't even ring up my items.. I asked her to scan my items and let me see the prices on the screen. She had the nerve to tell me that I first had to swipe my card. Non sense. I had just purchased some perfume from a different counter and didnt have to scan my card first. After she rung me up and I paid. I decide to return the items and walked away. I called Macy's customer service line and explained the unprofessional rudeness of their workers.
