(Kari's Rating 6.5/10) They will not remind you of the $.15 bag tax and they just put your clothes in an Aritzia bag for marketing, I literally had an additional bag with me and I didn't realize I got charged till I left the store. I know it's not a big deal, but it kind of ruined my experience. Came in on a Monday evening around 6:30, they're not many people in the store so I kind of enjoyed a little more as I am a more relaxed shopper and get more anxiety with a lot of people running around. I had to return a sweater and I went to browse a few items to use for the remaining balance of my gift card, a very nice woman help me pick out a few options that she thought we might look good with the clothes that I already had in my hand. She had also gotten me a fitting room, but I had to ask the other employees for help with the fitting as she was more on the floor sales -which is totally totally fine. Finally found a dress that I liked and checkout was fine but I live in Chicago, so I definitely should know that there is a bag tax. I just totally forgot and definitely wouldn't have taken the bag if they would have said something. read more

This is a smaller aritzia compared to the one on Michigan with a smaller selection, so I usually only handle quick purchases at this one. I do appreciate that this one feels less overstimulating than the Michigan store, and the staff have all been friendly! read more

I've always been at Aritzia fan, but like some of my other favorite brands (lulu, alo) the teens have taken over. This seems to be one of my daughter's new favorite stores to shop at. She's obsessed with their hoodies and sweatpants and insisted we stop in while shopping downtown even though we have one in the burbs because this one is bigger and better. I'm not sure if it's better, but I will say the sales associate who helped us was so lovely. I'm annoyed i forgot to get her name to give her some Yelp love, but she helped us find a super puff jacket (the warmest coats!) and another super puff vest that wasn't in stock so had it shipped to our house. There was a small line for the fitting room, but seemed short after what we had just waited in at Brandy Melville across the street. And checkout was a breeze. I find their quality really great and their pricing fair (maybe pricey if you're buying it for a 13 year old). I have a feeling I may be stealing one of my daughter's super puff jackets (yes, she has a few!) this winter because they are perfect for our Chicago winters! read more

I recently visited this store to shop, but unfortunately had an incredibly disappointing experience with one of the sales associates. She gave my husband and me unfriendly, dismissive looks and completely ignored us the entire time. My husband did get in her way once by accident while she was putting away clothing - she didn't say excuse me or anything but instead made a face. At one point, she walked right past us--even though I had a dress in my hand--and instead approached another customer to offer assistance and a fitting room. Not once did she acknowledge us or offer help. The whole interaction made us feel unwelcome and disrespected. I ended up putting the dress back and walking out without making a purchase. It's hard not to feel like we were being treated differently because we're Hispanic. If that's not the case, then the staff should be trained better on providing equal and courteous service to *all* customers, regardless of appearance. This was an awful and demoralizing experience, and I won't be shopping here again. read more

Like many, I am so upset with the staff at this Aritzia location. I've been to countless Aritzia locations across the country and store associates have not been as rude and discriminatory like this location. I've been watched when walking around this store (i'm a woman of color), but when I am trying clothes on in the fitting room, I am absolutely ignored when I need a different size or styling advice. Customers of slimmer frames are just catered to more here, and you will feel it in the fitting room. I notice an absurd amount of body size discrimination in the fitting room part of the store. Additionally, the cashier associate or manager here is also brutally rude and will fight for an item to not be returned (return stuff via mail! It's less of a hassle!). After declining my return request for a dress I'd never worn out and only tried on, she then put on a fake smile and said "have a nice day", and I can hear her and other associates cliquing up and talking about me- it's actually so upsetting. Lastly, the clothing is ridiculously expensive and almost always has runs and wrinkles developing on it. I saw a $88 knit top with clumps of thread unraveling off of the rack and no associate thought to set it aside? Lol read more

Went to the new Aritzia to return a shirt that was 2 days past the month deadline. They declined any type of return so I went to this old location. All the employees were super nice and helpful and let me exchange the shirt for new items. Recommend it!!! read more

I went here with my daughter who absolutely loves this place! They have very on trend pieces and if someone helps you - take their help because sometimes the place can be overwhelming! And of course, they have very comfortable chairs and couches for you to sit on and wait or take a break. They have amazing body suits, dresses and pants! (Be careful, body suits are not returnable). I'll have to come back to try items on for me - not just for my HS daughter! The clothes are a bit pricey but if they last more than one season, I'll be glad! The mirrors in the dressing rooms are not in your dressing area, but you have to come to the common area to see yourself. I see how this could be uncomfortable for some people. Gorgeous items but very classy. So I do like that! read more

Such a bad experience. The store felt chaotic, the staff were rude and way too aggressive. I told them multiple times I was good just browsing, but they kept coming up to me trying to push product like I was invisible. A lot of the clothes had stains or looked worn, which was honestly gross considering the prices. The whole vibe was toxic and not worth it--left feeling annoyed and uncomfortable. I had such a wonderful experience at this Aritzia location. Alex was absolutely amazing. I stopped by this location looking for a particular coat that was unfortunately sold out. Alex went above and beyond to find a similar alternative. I didn't feel pressured into making a purchase. I honestly felt she was more concerned about me making the right purchase. Just bad experience with this store. The dresses had stains and runs and they sent me one in the mail that still had tears and not to mention the black tag on it. Not to mention they said this item was final sale totally after so they didn't allow me to return it. A final sale tag should be put on these items. Literally never spending money here again. The employees were kind, but the customer service was zero help. Terrible store, selling low quality polyester things at prices $100 and up. Not to mention my first online order never came and they didn't say anything about it until I emailed them. Just sloppy. read more

Gabriella / Gabby was spectacular. She greater us right away, this location is great at making sure customers get a nice greeting. Gabriella was attentive, my friend and I had several items and she was on top of follow back up with us and getting our items to a dressing room throughout our shopping experience. She even went the extra mile to pull items for my friends who was shopping for a birthday dress. My friend loved what Gabby picked for her and ended up buying what Gabby pulled. I made some purchases myself. The only negative was the dressing room, it's well kept and styled well. However there are no mirrors in the individual room, you must step out into the common area which didn't feel great. I'm not trying to share a mirror with strangers. That's all.. read more

Aritzia never disappoints when it comes to quality of clothing to price point. Although it's not necessarily cheap ($45-85 per blouse, $100-200 pants, $130-225 sweaters, statement outerwear starts at $225) I am confident that their quality exceeds cheaper alternatives like Zara, and I'll pay that premium to not replace my clothes every season. Their new Rush St location recently opened a few days ago, and I'm really impressed with the size of the new space and charming decor. It's probably about three times the size of any Aritzia I've seen (SJ, SF, LA). =Grand Opening Perks= For their grand opening, they're giving a complimentary build-your-own bouquet of flowers with purchase, as well as your choice of pressed juice (while supplies last). The staff are really well trained, and clearly prepared for the masses - it was a zoo this Sunday afternoon. There are lots sale racks yet at this location. Overall, I'm very impressed. Aritzia isn't the cheapest but you know you're getting great quality fabrics. Five stars! read more

I've always shopped their website so I was happy to be in a city with a physical brick and mortar. However after walking around the store multiple times trying to find someone to help it seemed nearly impossible. I finally found Ashley who was very helpful and tried to help me the best she could. All the other employees seemed like they were too good to help. At one point one of the employees asked if I was doing alright and I told them I needed a different size and apparently I was beneath them and they needed to get someone else to help me. As another review said they don't have individual mirrors in the fitting rooms, but two large ones in. The middle. I don't mind this but I know others have other thoughts and feelings on this. Disappointed in the customer service, but thank you Ashley!! I will say the store is a large space and has tons of different options to pick from, though sizing is picked through. I did walk out with a few things but honestly I'll stick to their website. read more

I'm a huge fan of Aritzia. Especially this location - I live down the block and am frequently purchasing my whole wardrobe from here. I've always had qualms regarding their fitting room situation (mirrors are in a common space and you have to walk outside of your personal fitting room in order to examine how the clothes fit). This can leave anyone feeling a bit self-conscious as their whole body is on display in front of a very busy crowd of customers. To make things drastically worse, my experience was incredibly downgraded today (as if it couldn't have been bad enough with the previous situation). While walking out with a bra and a short skirt on, there was a man (unmistakably cis gender) in the fitting room in front of the mirrors. He was not even trying clothes on. He was just standing there, inside this dressing room with me and several other women, apparently waiting for his sister to try on clothes. Meanwhile, there is an entire waiting area with couches just outside. I felt extremely uncomfortable as he looked right at me (regardless if intentional or not) while I had a fairly revealing new outfit I was trying on. My breasts were literally on display and I had no clue there was a man there in the first place. I had told the attendant at the time that I had felt uncomfortable by him being there and she responded, "I'm sorry there's nothing I can do about that as this is a unisex dressing room." I am all for being as inclusive as possible... but he wasn't even trying on clothes. And, i am not okay with being put in a situation in which I'm meant to feel insecure and then invalidated afterwards. And my fiancé feels very hurt by this experience as well. I do want to voice my appreciation for a separate attendant who consoled me afterwards and validated my experience, which is why this review is 2 stars instead of one. All in all, this is a very busy location with long lines and invalidating attendants who do not care about the security and experiences of their customers. read more

Definitely only caters to sizes 0 and 2. I came in at the beginning of the season and they only carried sizes for a certain type of woman. I mean it's 2022, can we be more inclusive? The salesman said something about being sold out for a month but they are available online, so surely your store manager would have restocked if they cared to. Love the brand but go to an Artizia in the suburbs. read more

I have stopped in here several times but always leave empty handed. Their windows always look good and the people who work there seem friendly ( if not a little overbearing) but the organization of the store is confusing and the quality of the products just isn't there. Everything is made in China and seems cheap, even though the prices are high. They don't seem to have any concern for sustainability or natural fibers. Overall, I am just not impressed. I looked at a silk shirt for $140+ and it was slightly damaged. Dresses were bizarrely hung with skirts behind other racks. Maybe fast fashion just isn't my thing. read more

This has been a favorite clothing stores for a few years and now their larger Rush Street store has an even broader selection. If I had to pick a quality to praise, it is the feel of many of their fabrics--so soft. They also have many basics & solid colors--essentials. Their sales people are cheerful and bring extra items to the dressing room to try on--just wish all the rooms had mirrors! The clothing mix is both 20-something & items that appeal to any age group. The pricing is moderate (please see footnote below about recent sale). I often order items online, too, but their return policy is quite strict so you may want to read the policy before making a purchase. Overall, the Watertown Store or larger, new Rush St locations are recommended. Updated Footnotr: I revived a call to Rush to Rush for a special Aritzia Black Monday Sale. When a store calls a "valued customer" and talks up a sale, well you expect a SALE. What I found was a very limited number of items on sale--and was then handed a little card for an additional savings given my special client status--but it ended up not amounting to much except 10% off two items. It wasn't even a decent sale--it was more like a few scattered, normal markdowns with huge advertising signs everywhere. Zero pants on sale--zero coats on sale. Much ado about nothin is how I would rate it--very annoyed for rushing to Rush today! (Their sales reps are still very nice, however!) read more

Workers really try to be helpful and are friendly. I appreciated Lexi being so down to earth and understandi about helping my gf pick out a jacket! Clothing isn't cheap and pretty overpriced but quality seems great. For a first in-store experience, was really nice and will def be coming back. I originally gave them a 4 star but unfortunately had a change of heart..customer service is super rude and they ship out really late. I understand it's the holiday season but if I pay for shipping at least I should get a status notification on the $300 product I'm purchasing. I had to reach out to customer service twice to get information on my order..now it's coming in two weeks vs. the 4-7 days as mentioned..Not the best customer service when placing orders and I'm reluctant about ordering in the future. Better in store experience but if you don't live near one of the stores, not worth the hassle. read more

I don't normally write reviews but I just had to after the incredible experience I had! I really wanted a top that was out of stock on the website and called into the store to see if it was available. When I called, the sales associate went out of her way to look for what I came to find upon arrival had been the last one left in stock (shoutout to Christie/Kristi!!!). All of the sales associates were incredibly kind and helpful (I talked to four while there on a busy sales day). Also, I loved the top I bought so much as soon as I got home I ordered another color since they were out of that particular one at the store! Starting this saying that Aritzia IS one of my favorite stores and I've found amazing pieces there. The 2 star deduction is for their customer service and RIDICULOUS return policy. The second you grab one piece of item--even if you're just THINKING of MAYBE trying it on--a representative swoops in from nowhere so they can start a room for you. There are great pros to this: they find several suggestions based on your choice and have it waiting in your fitting room, they know their products really well so sometimes you find something you love in their reccos. However, more often that not, they're pretty pushy to get the sale and it makes the experience uncomfortable. They're sooo friendly that I can't help but feel pressure to walk out with something every time (I don't buy anything I don't want!). And the one time I told a girl (Rush St location) to disregard the one item she put away for me because I changed my mind...the girl didn't even look at me in the face and just said "fine." I am so disgusted by that reaction because it goes to show how superficial customer service is there. You might think I'm overreacting but for someone who's been loyally shopping at Aritzia for years, I think I need to boycott that place for a while, that type of service is not something I want to support. read more

I'm usually one to buy everything online and rarely visit clothing retail stores. Was visiting the city with a friend and we had a fun day of shopping topped by Aritzia. We were greeted by Willow, whom was so quick to set up a dressing room for my friend and I. Followed up by checking on us overtime as we tried things on. Willow was so kind and enthusiastic. One week later, I'm still reflecting on what an enjoyable shopping experience she and the Aritzia team made. Something that the convenience of online shopping can't match. I've never shopped Aritzia before, when I was looking for a good Canadian parka, but not willing to spend Canada Goose $$, I came across great feedback of Aritizia parkas. They had a great online clearance on a few styles, so I went into the store with a few in mind to try on. The sales associate working the dressing room gave me specs on the ones I was trying, gave suggestions and brought me a few she thought might be better to brave the Chicago cold winds. She was so polite! (even apologized when she disappeared for 3 mins to help other customers in the fitting rooms) She did mention the store honors the prices online, but the color of the parka I wanted wasn't available in store(which was the style she suggested). I ordered it online Saturday afternoon and received it Tuesday afternoon. So happy with my purchase and experience! read more

Very frustrating experience. Initially I was impressed with the measures the store took to reopen with safety precautions. I did not complain that I had waited 45 minutes to try on clothing because I understand those are the precautions. However, I had an appointment and unfortunately after 45 minutes, needed to leave before trying on the clothes. The ladies assured me I could come back and try on the clothing I picked out after my appointment. I came back, and once again, had to wait in line for over 45 minutes (which I again did not complain about). However, when I got to the fitting room, the clothes I had put on hold were nowhere to be found. I would not have wasted another hour of my day waiting had I known they never held the clothing. The only reason I went back was because I felt badly that the women took the time to help me pick out a significant amount of clothing. There was no apology and I will not be shopping here again. I will instead visit the small boutiques who take the time to help their busy customers that are trying to support retail businesses during this pandemic. read more
