I get that my age is not the target market for Uniqlo, but I also know that there are a few nuggets of gold throughout the store relative to casual leisure wear, and after a hunt, I found a few shelves and racks full of pants...and after a quick fitting room visit, I scooped up a few colors of each and made our way to the registers. The store is multi-story, as is most on Michigan Avenue. It is also insanely busy, but given the size and layout, it does not feel overwhelming. The store is laid out well, organized, well kept and clean. You constantly see staff members stocking, fixing, re-hanging, etc... In addition to the clothing, there is a custom embroidery section upstairs. We did not partake, but it was busy and I saw several cool pieces leave the area. Service was the only thing a bit off. The staff were quick, but not engaging or necessarily friendly. While there were lots of people on the floor, they never seemed to engage you unless explicitly requested. No big deal, but noticeable. Overall, I enjoy Uniqlo and this location is a good one!

This is the only location in Chicago that does embroidery. The customization area is confusing and…read morevery disorganized because there isn't any large signage and not enough staffing. The two tablets that are sectioned off to the left are for embroidery only, whereas the other tablets to the right are for printing on shirts and tote bags. You cannot embroider on the smallest fanny pack, only the larger one. Bring the blanks that you want to embroider with you to the counter. On the tablet, you can choose the embroidery patches you want and the placement. You are limited to 3 embroidery patches per bag. When you're finished, click the prompts to the next screen. After you're done on the tablet you can pay for the blanks and the embroidery service at the same time. The person helping me at the embroidery area was so friendly and did a great job answering questions. I placed an order around 3pm on a Saturday and it was ready 24 hours later. Pick up was also disorganized, as there isn't a designated pick up area. You have to go to the tablet area and try to grab the attention of someone working, but they're so busy helping others that it took a while to pick up my bags.

The value of the clothes were great. Event those that were regular priced. That's my type of party!! Walking in I was greeted and asked if I needed any help. That I can appreciate. I can't wait to go back and do more shopping!

Staff: unfriendly, bureaucratic practices in place ("go to customer services") just to make you wait in another line. Simple return was not so simple. Two ladies working in sync (same attitude), one barely speaks English. What to expect, one could say? It's Chicago, another store will be closing soon. Who would like to deal with such an attitude, rudeness, unprofessional approach on Sunday? Do not visit this store, it's horrible, right from the late opening.

We had a long wait just to get a table, and once we were seated outside, we waited what felt like another 45 minutes for our food. We ordered a burger and the fish platter--both were good, but not memorable enough to justify the wait. Maria, my assigned stylist, was personable and spent time discussing what I was looking for and pulling items from the racks. I tried on a few pieces and liked the aesthetic on paper, however, I found some of the items - especially jackets - overwhelming on my shorter frame. I could see a taller, lankier patron being able to pull of these pieces. I give this store definite props for keeping the space clean and uncluttered, making it easy for customers to find their way to both the familiar and the fresh. Accessories complement the clothing selections and are another way to incorporate updates to one's wardrobe.

Some of the groceries are extremely well priced like eggs, salad and packaged meats. I love coming here for light grocery shopping and gummy vitamins but you can find pretty much anything here. The only minor complaint I have is this particular location doesn't carry the spiritual, glass, 7 day candles like the Ukrainian Village target. If management could bring those wonderful candles to this location that would help me so much! Regardless customer service here is beyond excellent. Everyone here is extremely friendly and invested in helping their customers have a seamless shopping experience.
