Honestly. This is a very specific review. I sometimes buy Reese's Sticks at the checkout and they've been $1.99. Suddenly today they are now $2.89. That's a 45% price increase! I know that costs are rising, but that is price gouging. I happen to know that price specifically but I imagine many other prices have been raised as well. Meanwhile Walmart is still at $1.97 for the same product (full disclosure: I am a Walmart employee). I am writing this review as a customer because I am frustrated that Target would raise their price like this. read more

The staff here is incredible!!! I recently purchased an artificial wreath-high quality and appears to be hand crafted! My neighbors have complimented on it repeatedly! While they are a smaller store-the sales associate who helped to locate a hanger for my door-said they do not offer the hanging piece-I was a bit disappointed as-but that is a manager/supplier issue-I was just surprised as Target always seems to have the complimentary support items next their larger items for sale. read more

This review is long overdue so I'm finally sharing my personal shopping experiences here so all the locals will know how wonderful the staff is here at this location in Chicago's River North. First of all, dogs are always welcome so if you happen to be passing by and you have your pup with you it's perfect alright to bring your pet in here. You can find everything you need here from beauty products, housewares, pet supplies, groceries, wellness products and cookware. Some of the groceries are extremely well priced like eggs, salad and packaged meats. I love coming here for light grocery shopping and gummy vitamins but you can find pretty much anything here. The only minor complaint I have is this particular location doesn't carry the spiritual, glass, 7 day candles like the Ukrainian Village target. If management could bring those wonderful candles to this location that would help me so much! Regardless customer service here is beyond excellent. Everyone here is extremely friendly and invested in helping their customers have a seamless shopping experience. Adrian always is attentive each time I shop here and his entire staff always has a warm smile and greeting especially if I bring in my dog. Love shopping here and you will too! read more

I have had a very good experience with this location until today. Whoever was running the return desk today absolutely crushed any type of thought or experience. I have had about this place. I go in today to return my coffee creamer because I do not like it mind you I have only had the creamer for three days and also mind you I shop at target daily. I have spent thousands of dollars at target alone. I go to return my coffee creamer. I tell the lady at the front that I don't like the way it taste. I've had two coffees. The first time I had the coffee I didn't like the creamer. I thought maybe I was being dramatic so I had another coffee still didn't like it and that's exactly why I'm here because I want to buy a new coffee creamer and I also told her I bought it a couple days ago she doesn't ask for a receipt she picks up the coffee creamer, swirls it around and says why is it basically empty instead of her checking to see what the return policy is and see how many days it's been since I bought the coffee creamer she profiles me first instead of doing the policy. She goes on to tell me that she doesn't know if they can return it since it's basically empty. She says I have to talk to my manager. She calls the manager on the walkie and instead of telling the manager exactly what I said that I don't like the coffee creamer. She just says that the coffee creamer is empty. Can they even return it? I interrupt her and tell her you need to tell your manager that I don't like the coffee creamer that's exactly why I am here. Then she goes on to tell the manager that I don't like it after I already told her that the manager says has it been within the return policy she says she doesn't know because she hasn't even looked at my receipt. The manager says if it's within the return policy, we have to take it back. She hangs up with the manager she asked for the receipt. She looks to see that I bought it a couple days ago. She looks at me and goes oh you only bought it three days ago I said yeah exactly horrible customer service with this lady. She literally needs to be fired. Maybe she should be checking the receipt before she places judgment on anybody she needs to learn how to do her job. read more

So, this is the new Target and it is my very first time to visit it. First thing I noticed is that it is not as big as the other Target which is its only downside but it is literally overall clean and spotless. I went around the whole store and it is just so clean I cannot see anything in the floor or any aisles and everything is well-organized and full stocked. It is almost the same with the other Target store when it comes to the products, items and all because everything is also available in here including electronics, grocery, household supplies and essentials, beauty products and just literally everything you can find in Target is also available in this location. Also, the layout is super nice making it easier to find anything. Customer service is great. Every staff is friendly, approachable and helpful. There is also a Starbucks available inside and the barista in there is so nice as well. I only got a few things and some groceries on my cart and checkout is pretty fast and the prices of everything I got seems fair and reasonable. Hmm this location is great and I never had a negative experience and I will definitely be back. Will also recommend this new location to my family and friends. read more

Was very excited that a new target was opening close to me so 3 stars for its pure existence and the very kind employees. However, they are often out of stock of the one thing I'm making the trip for, so, while less enjoyable, it's more convenient to go to CVS at this point. Also, I am a frequent self-checkout user at 3 of the other targets in the city, and this is by far the worst self checkout. It never registers when I scan my wallet, and the card scanner often freezes or glitches so I cannot pay and have to call over an employee. So, definitely loses another point on the convenience scale for that. Hoping these issues get resolved later, though it has been open for 2 months now. read more
