Lindsay became my bff the second I walked in…read more So here's the sitch. Im visiting from NYC and getting a prdicure at a nail salon around the corner. Sitting next to Kat, we instantly start chatting up and talking about the neighborhood and our trip. We're in Chicago and then heading to Vegas for a festival which I still don't have an outfit for. And as luck would have it, she says she works at Felt around the corner and we should definitely head over! We head over to the magical world of Felt and meet the magical Lindsay. Lindsay was my fairy godbestie. She listened to where we were going, my style, and my body. I recently lost weight so I don't have lots of clothes or much style. Clothing shopping has always been tough for me. Lindsay pulled together pieces for me and set up a room. Cue the early 2000's movie changing room montage. Also did I mention the free champagne?! So I'm switching in and out of outfits for my partner and Lindsay to look at on the couch and big mirror which my partner and I drink champagne. I didn't even give Lindsay my sizes (because I don't even know my size anymore) and yet almost every piece fit. And every piece was a different size, medium, large, different numbers, etc. like is she a wizard?! We left the store with summer shorts, an awesome blue, strapless top that ties in the back, and a white skirt with black polka dots for funsies for work (great material, holds it's like 60s waves and is double lined so not see through) Not only did I walk out of there with clothes, but I walked out of there happy, with CONFIDENCE, and a beautiful sense sisterhood. Lindsay is such a girls girl. As a curvy woman, clothing shopping can be tough and disheartening. But if there was a Lindsay in every store, the world would be a better place. P.S. for Lindsay: Girl, the Vegas festival was CANCELLED. Can you believe it?! lol but don't worry I will still be wearing these pieces all summer! Thank you for everything!

I seldom make it in but when I do, I love this store. The owners are legendary here in Chicago. I am never a big buyer but they are always very friendly and accommodating. The store environment will be most appreciated by those who are serious fashionistas who know their style and have the funds to back it up. :) However , I think their is something for all and their sales are fabulous!!! The salespeople are very nice. I feel it is an urban legend that they are unfriendly. I just think they really appreciate people who are serious about fashion as they are. We dried our toes, hopped in the car and headed to Damen with the hopes of finding something at Marc Jacobs, Cynthia Rowley or perhaps Nanette Lepore. Marc and Nanette let us down (absolutely nada!) and we found 1 good option of Cynthia Rowley. Before settling on the Cynthia Rowley dress we decided to pop into p45 to see if they had anything. My goodness....I always forget how cute this boutique is! Unfortunately, I can't buy anything in normal boutiques right now due to Baby R, but as soon as I shed those pregnancy pounds later this year p45 will be one of my first stops. Our sales gal, Tricia, was beyond helpful! She wasn't pushy in the least bit and really wanted to make sure my friend absolutely LOVED her rehearsal dinner dress. She ended up finding us a beautiful dress that was just perfect...and on sale (score!). She even gave my friend heels, a strapless bra and stockings to try it on. They really have it all here! Now if only they could start carrying maternity clothes for me...

Was I sure based on so many reviews about rude staff, but those people definitely weren't there this day if at all anymore. Staff was really kind and attentive towards me and kindly looked in the back rooms when I inquired if they had more sizes-- and when they did not they offered to order them for me in my size. Making you feel immediately welcome and comfortable. I had the pleasure of meeting both Owners Elia & Linda. They are so genuine and transparent giving you that peace of mind knowing you are in store that has your best interest at heart and will take care of your fashion needs. There was no hesitation in bringing out several boots styles for me to try on. They suggested I walk around in their store to ensure comfort. During this process they did not push the sale onto you giving me the proper space to make a decision on my purchase. BOUTIQUE PRESENTATION- I've been to my fair share of boutiques in several states and contrary to most, this boutique has followed through with their theme. They are not all over the place with respect to their merchandise. The Western wear theme is very well pronounced and very tasteful. Not too much and definitely not lacking in inventory. This boutique is clean and very well kept. I saw not dust on the counters, tables, or furniture. Their merchandise stands out as you walk in and it is not cluttered which helps you appreciate it all from the Boots (shoes), Clothing, accessories, and more. QUALITY- Last but not least, allow me to brag about the quality of these boots. I purchased a few pairs of boots, There is no way you will want to leave with one pair only after trying these bad boys on. All styles, if I am not mistaken and designed by Linda with the support of her sister Elia. Her designs are in my opinion flawless to say the least. The quality of the leather on the inside of the boot is super soft and durable. The smell of the leather is perfect. Not too over powering. The overall quality of the leather inside and out is solid 10. It is very obvious that these girls spent a good amount of time looking for the right fabricating products. REVIEW BY BOOT STYLE: BEST SELLER RICHARD COW HAIR BOOT: Exquisite bootie, the cow hair is so fine and detailed. The hair growth they picked for this bootie is absolutely stunning giving this boot classy feel. RICHARD PEWTER BOOT: This Pewter boot is quite eye catching. It's a risky style for someone like me who always wear all black. It a very bold yet very chic. It has the perfect amount of sassy if you will! GEORGE BLACK BOOT: HOT!!! This black heeled boot it perfect. I love that you can dress this boot up or down. This boot is designed to perfection. I saw Linda wearing these boots the day I came in and they way this boot hugged up above her ankle made me want to try these on. Now we all know not everyone can pull off the same style or look. Well this Boot ladies will hug your foot and leg so nicely that will make you do a double take on the mirror. The zipper on the back of the boot that runs form the heel to the top of the boot gives this boot such a clean look. LOUIE BOOT: I can go on a forever rant on this style. My absolute favorite. I can wear this boot all day long. Just like the rest of the other styles you can dress these boots up or down. The level of comfort is unexplainable. I can wear these with Jeans or work slacks. These are a must have....... TRUST ME LADIES... YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS OUT ON THESE BOOTS!!!
