I'm so obsessed with this place wow. The prices are same as any other boutique, but they have soo many cute options. I can't wait for a friend to visit from out of town so I can take them here for some custom hats and other adorable Chicago apparel. Even the fabric bag they use to bag up your items is so cute that I wear it around everywhere now when running errands. Will definitely return. Was I sure based on so many reviews about rude staff, but those people definitely weren't there this day if at all anymore. Staff was really kind and attentive towards me and kindly looked in the back rooms when I inquired if they had more sizes-- and when they did not they offered to order them for me in my size. Prior to my trip to the chi, I had to do some more research on the cool or cutesy things to do while there. Alice & Wonder came up in so many reels on IG and tik tok so of course I had to see what the hype was about for myself! This location was cute, the staff were super helpful, sweet and provided us with an overview of the custom hat making process. It was quick and easy and I appreciated how the store associate gave me pointers on what details to record. The overall store was full of Chicago souvenirs but the cute kind! We came here for the custom hats and i didnt do much more research into the store, but it is so cute. I love the variety of sweaters and jeans, and the l quality did not disappoint. It is a little pricey but worth it in my opinion! the staff was very personable and approachable. read more

We were so excited and happy to finally check out Alice and Wonder! They have a beautiful selection of women's clothing and awesome accessories including so many well made chicago memorabilia. One of the coolest aspects was the ability to customize a chicago hat with additional iron on patches! My sister commented on how fun of an activity that would be with kids or guests visiting. All in all, we both agree their entire shop and collection is so thoughtfully curated. On this occasion, we were purchasing items for the Mini wonder collection. We love how they are coordinated with the adult collection and could see it being cute for mommy and me photo shoots. The best part of our experience was Val! She helped us so much to pick out items and was so kind to make sure the items were ready to be given as gifts. Purely based on meeting her, we knew the drive up to this location would be totally worth it in the future! Highly recommend checking out this wonderful store. read more

A girlfriend and I came here to grab their Chicago hats being major Chicago girlies. It was my first time here - it's very small and hard to get around especially when busy which it was. I would like to come back to actually shop around but I may check out their other location to see if size is bigger. Nonetheless my experience in here was good - the girl that did my hat was really nice and attentive. She seemed interested and like she cared to make sure we made the hat we wanted which I really appreciated. The hat was $32 itself and $6 for every patch you add. My cashier was also sweet and complimented my dress and nails. I love the hat - it's so cute! Nice experience overall. read more

Cute store, so fun to browse in! I was so excited to purchase a "Chicago" sweater from here, but am disappointed how it began to pill very quickly. I have only worn it a handful of times and washed it once as directed on the tag (and air dried it) and it still looks like this. Cute stuff, but not sure it's quality or worth the price. read more

I knew I needed to visit an Alice & Wonder location before I even started my Chicago trip after seeing so many Tiktoks about the custom hat bar. I visited with my 12 year old son (he was impressed with the playlist as soon as we stepped in) and we chose matching hats as a fun trip souvenir. I picked up a tee as well and could have stayed much longer if there was time. Awesome selection, super helpful staff and great vibes. It is such a nice boutique, it is near in our house so, I am really looking for to come here and look for a nice dress to wear. I entered in this boutique with big expectation as it looks so elegant in the outside. But I when I entered, I got really disappointed with the staffs. Some staffs have attitude and didn't even bother to greet me. That one girl looks so pissed and annoyed with my presence and I don't even know why. That one must be disciplined and also the other staffs who don't know how to give customer service. On the other hand, the products have good quality and lovely designs. I love what I bought, which is the white dress with floral pattern. I wanted to buy more but the staffs made me annoyed that's why I decided to move in another boutique. I always love shopping at Alice and Wonder because of the cute items they have in the store. However, every time I go I am appalled at how rude the girls in the front of the Webster store are. They seem to have such an attitude even when I'm spending $300+ with them. I would really encourage the store owner to discuss this and work on some training as your staff is starting to make me want to shop elsewhere since I don't want to feel that way when shopping. read more

I love the vibe of this store! It makes me smile just walking in, everything is so bright and cheery and the staff is really friendly. They have a great assortment of trendy clothes that they change out often. I really like the fun graphic tees and rompers. AWFUL staff so rude. There were three staff members working when I walked in. I was the only customer in the store and no one acknowledged my presence. I walked around the store still absolutely nothing said to me and once I left no one still did not say a word. There are so many other shops very similar to this store in the area. Unfortunately the customer service was terrible here. I made a purchase over the holidays and sadly lost my grandmother and uncle within a few days of each other. Due to this, I was late on my return and explained that to the manager and they would not offer me a refund. Super disappointed in the lack of customer service. I walked in and was greeted with a staff member who was annoyed that I walked in. Did not even ask if she could help me, even though I was clearly making a return. I was told I could not return an item because it was outside the 30 day window. The item was a gift and sadly didn't fit. The manager came out and said she needed to get approval from "someone" to see if she could get me store credit. After 1 minute she returned and told me no. I asked to speak to whoever gave her the final answer and she told me it was the owner and that was her final answer. I explained very nicely that the item was still in season and still had tags and that I wont be able to wear it. The answer was still no. It's a damn shame that the person who owns this store didn't think about coming out to greet a potential customer to explain why she wouldn't make an exception. Too bad, I was excited to have fun spending money in there, instead I'll let my network know to hit up another boutique. read more

This boutique is really cute and very reasonably priced. My one complaint is one of the employees who works there (I'm not sure if she's one of the owners or if she's just an employee) anyway I've been hesitant to write this because I feel bad ripping on someone I don't know but from a customer service point of view it might be helpful. Anyway this particular woman is just really bad at her job. She's incredibly unpleasant and almost seems annoyed when anyone walks in. She hardly says hi and never asks if you need any help. I tried saying something nice about the store to her when it first opened and she acted irritated that I was even talking to her. Anyway she just gives off the vibe that she'd rather everyone leave and personally makes me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable (I feel this way every time she is there, this is not from just one incident and my friends commented on it the other day too) I haven't had an issue with anyone else who works there and I'm not trying to get this girl fired but she needs some serious training and a pep talk about how to treat customers. read more
