Lindsay became my bff the second I walked in. So here's the sitch. Im visiting from NYC and getting a prdicure at a nail salon around the corner. Sitting next to Kat, we instantly start chatting up and talking about the neighborhood and our trip. We're in Chicago and then heading to Vegas for a festival which I still don't have an outfit for. And as luck would have it, she says she works at Felt around the corner and we should definitely head over! We head over to the magical world of Felt and meet the magical Lindsay. Lindsay was my fairy godbestie. She listened to where we were going, my style, and my body. I recently lost weight so I don't have lots of clothes or much style. Clothing shopping has always been tough for me. Lindsay pulled together pieces for me and set up a room. Cue the early 2000's movie changing room montage. Also did I mention the free champagne?! So I'm switching in and out of outfits for my partner and Lindsay to look at on the couch and big mirror which my partner and I drink champagne. I didn't even give Lindsay my sizes (because I don't even know my size anymore) and yet almost every piece fit. And every piece was a different size, medium, large, different numbers, etc. like is she a wizard?! We left the store with summer shorts, an awesome blue, strapless top that ties in the back, and a white skirt with black polka dots for funsies for work (great material, holds it's like 60s waves and is double lined so not see through) Not only did I walk out of there with clothes, but I walked out of there happy, with CONFIDENCE, and a beautiful sense sisterhood. Lindsay is such a girls girl. As a curvy woman, clothing shopping can be tough and disheartening. But if there was a Lindsay in every store, the world would be a better place. P.S. for Lindsay: Girl, the Vegas festival was CANCELLED. Can you believe it?! lol but don't worry I will still be wearing these pieces all summer! Thank you for everything! read more

I love unique boutiques in town where you'll find pieces you'll be keeping for years to come no one else will have. You'll find some friendly ladies inside that are willing to help you shop around & find pieces, or be left to wander on your own. I found a great summer party outfit I know I'll be keeping for a long time. Just be aware this store is on the higher end of things $$$. Sometimes you just have to treat your self. read more

FELT - Women's Clothing Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

FELT or Fake? After supporting a local business by spending a lot of money on expensive clothing, I was criticized for gifting a "person I just met" and the staff with handwritten notes, crystals for success, and precious stones--after my first visit. My first visit to the store was a good one. I also provided the store with some articles and bags to sell in order to support their success. On my last visit, I was pulled to the side by the owner and my shopping habits were criticized. I was accused of abusing the return policy. My bags were later returned to me in a haphazard manner in a shabby box. Some of the gifts were returned in the box, but none of the precious stones were included. This was followed by unneeded, nasty conversations with the owners and a threatening email. The conversations included a mysterious business partner who was not involved in any of my previous experiences. I have learned that all of the experience was like recovering from a hangover after a drunken night. FELT has LEFT me with nothing but FAKE expensive clothing, FAKE hospitality, and FAKE friendship. If you're looking for designer clothes, go online. The quality, prices and customer experience are much better. read more

Could this place be any more amazing? The people are 100% the best in finding clothes I would never have put myself in - but I looked fabulous! I am so glad I have found this option in Chicago for unique, cute clothes. read more

Obsessed with everything Felt! I've been shopping here for a few months and always leave with some awesome pieces. Every stylist is awesome at this location. Special thanks to Amanda and Cat! They always pull some amazing pieces that make me swoon. I recently went in for their Meg Shops event. They custom tailored all the pieces with pins and sent them off to get adjusted for free. (What a unique and awesome touch!) The layout is minimalist and the price point does vary. Expect to pay between 100-1000. But it is really important to note that you will stand out in Chicago and you will have these pieces forever. When the quality is amazing and the piece stands out, the price isn't always a big factor for me. I spend some time styling part-time and I always get inspiration walking in and shopping. I've discovered unique brands while making lasting relationships with the staff. They do a great job not only letting you know about each pieces function, they also tell you the history of the brand. I used to work in retail for many years and appreciate the knowledgeable assistance. Sometimes it's hard to shop when in a rush or you don't have a idea of what you are looking for. The helpful push by the stylist at Felt to try something I wouldn't have thought to pull myself, always leads me to buying the piece and wearing it constantly. I know that may not be everyone's preferred method of shopping ...but trust me it leads you to key heading home with some key pieces that you will love. read more

I'm already a regular customer here. That's why I already know how good and how beautiful their products are. Some of my dresses and clothes came here, cause this shop is my favorite shop. I really love the quality of clothes here, so whenever I want some new clothes, this is always my "shop to go". I bought some tops, skirts and also some dresses. I think I bought too much, but it's okay, I love all that I chose. The dress is what I love the most, it's so cute and I think it will make me more charming. I already have this kind of dress, but the color is what makes it different. The color of the dress that I bought here last month was beige and yesterday I bought a plain white dress. And also, it's color is my favorite one, that's why it easily got my attention when I saw it. They deserve 5 stars for me. read more

I love Felt! Catherine and Paige are amazing at styling and having fun. My first visit was while exploring the neighborhood with my boyfriend. We walked in and they had some great funky pieces from top designer names (no not your grandmas designers - Chanel, YSL, Givenchy, Gucci). Cat asked if I would "play dress up" and so we plopped my guy on the couch and gave him a glass of champagne while I let Cat style me. I would say she was 90% on the mark of what I wear (and size!) and what flatters my body. Coming in wearing sweats and a sweatshirt, that is impressive. Felt isn't pushy on making the sale but wants you to find pieces you love (and pieces you thought you could never love). About two weeks later, I stopped in again and retried a few pieces that I couldn't stop thinking about and I picked up two great pieces. I came back a few days ago (they are having a super quiet one off sale - so hurry up) with my cousin. She just started college and I wanted her to find a style she could love/embrace with this new chapter of her life. We had so much fun and it was great seeing pieces that wouldn't work for me on her. Left the store with a hefty tab but I love the pieces I picked up and the pieces my cousin got. When you are looking for something that no one else has - this is the store! read more

Walked in with my partner and felt judged by appearance...let's just say I can definitely afford the stuff there. I was looking a dress to DJ for NYE and there was no acknowledgement of us there, not even a hi. Was it because I was a certain skin tone, I looked too bundled up and not fashion for 30 degree weather? I'll never know, but why are they even in Logan Sq. ? Do you realize the community you build your establishment on? Anyway, I don't usually Yelp, but this place fueled some fire. read more

LOVE this boutique. I met Catherine at Satine in LA. She helped me shop a couple of times and always remembered me and stayed in touch. I live in SF so these couple of times were over the course of 2 years! When I found out she was moving to Chicago to open her own clothing store, I was super excited for her and for the possibilities. Catherine reached out and asked if "she could send a box." I've never had this service before and asked my most fashionable friend in Dallas who told me that this is basically the only way she shops! And so, being a good Gemini, I said, "Yes!" to Catherine and she sent me a box. Her taste is on-point, fun and totally in sync with the client. Having only met me in person twice, she was able to read my style, my body and my needs. I was amazed. I am now hooked. I tell all of my friends about my new stylist and get complements on her pieces at work. Thank you, Felt and Catherine! read more

I have no problem admitting that I am obsessed with this boutique! Catherine, Paige, and Amanda are all so wonderful. After meeting my roommate and I once or twice, Paige had our taste and style down 100%. Nothing better than champagne and a dressing room full of amazing clothes! They carry a ton of USA made brands, which I really appreciate. A fantastic addition to Milwaukee Ave. Be sure to follow them on Instagram (@feltchicago) to see new arrivals! read more

This is a store filled with beautiful, top quality, brilliantly curated clothing and accessories. There is something for everyone at FELT. The FELT experience reckons back to a time where value was placed on customer service. I would recommend FELT to someone who knows exactly what they want, or a person in need of a little/lot of help. No hard sell at FELT. Just top notch products paired with nice friendly people, passionate and knowledgeable about fashion and fit. read more

F@&-ing LOVE this place and the amazing women behind it. Kat and Paige have always been super inspirational fashion gurus, but tonight I had the pleasure of working with Lindsay. She pulled some amazing things that had me seeing myself and my relationship to fashion in a whole new light. That's always been my experience here. Felt is synonymous with self care. read more

TRIO Salon had the PLEASURE of hosting Catherine, owner of FELT, as a Key Speaker for "Bring a Friend to the Trends" last month. Catherine the store owner is an absolute gem. She curates sophisticated yet fun and unique high end fashion pieces and has such a great eye for what flatters your body. Ive only shopped here a few times but anytime ive come in i end up trying on or purchasing items that i Never would of considered and so pleased by them! This shop has won my heart totally and utterly and completely. They offer a wide variety of lovely and one-of-a-kind products, all of which are sure to win the hearts of customers like me. Because this is my favorite place to go shopping, a few of my dresses and other pieces of clothing were purchased here. In addition, I adore their brandings as well as their staff, who are always so accommodating and pleasant. In addition, this place has a wonderful ambience, and I particularly like how relaxing the interior is. The last time I came here, I purchased a few dresses, as well as tops, skirts, and skirt sets. I believe I spent more money than I should have, but it's okay because I'm happy with everything I picked out. The dress is what I love the most, because it is so elegant, and I believe that by wearing it, people will find me to be even more charming and lovely. Very highly recommended. read more

Whenever I walk into this independently owned business I love the care in which the selection has been edited. Such a great labels (both basics and special wardrobe additions). Cat sized me up in about 30 seconds flat and brought out 3 pairs of jeans. Each pair was viable--and that happens never. She helped me narrow down my options to one that best option--yay. Usually jeans shopping is so angsty. Thanks again Cat. read more

FELT has a special place in my heart. I found it walking home one night right before its grand opening and have been in love with it since. Catherine and Paige are the best at styling and knowing their client's taste. I have some amazing pieces, in a wide price range. You will find lovely pieces here, great service and lovely smiles. Thanks FELT ! read more

If you're looking for unique pieces that look amazing on you, look no further than Felt. We have been there twice on two separate visits to Chicago and I really can't say enough about it. Catherine understands how to put an outfit together and she rolls out the red carpet and makes sure the entire experience is fun. We had a blast playing dress up for a couple of hours and I am in love with the clothing I purchased. Felt is a must for every trip to Chicago moving forward! read more

GEM! Everything about this boutique is made of DREAMS. This is the ultimate shopping experience I crave, all the clothing is so well curated I want ALL of it, Kat pulls pieces you didn't know you desperately needed & creates entire ensembles for you as if you had your very own personal stylist on hand. She's a ball to be around & a fashion genius. She'll pour you a glass of champagne & encourages you to enjoy, indulge, and have fun dressing up- experiment with new styles you wouldn't ordinarily embrace & makes shopping the therapeutic joy it was meant to be. I adore this boutique, it's hands down the best in the city- Logan Square owes a monument to this woman. This is the only shop you will ever need. read more

Wow! This place is the greatest! They have the coolest clothes and Kat and Holly are the best at helping everyone look their absolute best. I'm so happy I found this place. I have a new favorite place to shop! read more

Above and beyond is how I would describe the service here! Catherine and her team truly stand out amongst all the retailers (independent, chain and online) I have ever shopped with - while I have not been able to get to the store in person, Catherine has always managed to arrange to send pieces to me saving me a lot of time and effort - the last package she sent me was a great selection of pieces and I managed to find a few stand outs. A lot of great labels and with her keen eye, Felt is certainly a go to store for me. read more

I discovered this special little shop while walking through the neighborhood, and decided to pop in. Catherine and another stylist chose pieces and outfits that I never would have chosen for myself, and the vast majority of it looked fabulous and fit my personality well. I was stunned that they could size up my potential style so quickly. There was a wide array of options, from under 100 to 750 in price, depending on the piece. I left with some very comfortable, flattering, and stylish denim (205) and a lovely layering top (88). I plan to return soon to acquire more unique pieces for my wardrobe over time, and also to experience the styling and influences from the very attentive and thoughtful staff. Beautiful things for everyone! read more

This is my new favorite boutique in Chicago. Not only are the clothes beautiful and chic, but the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Kat and Paige are so much fun to work with. They make suggestions without being pushy and are so fun to talk to. The lines that they carry vary in price. I love going in just to say hi and have a drink with the girls, I'll definitely be back soon! read more
