Shopping time again! And of course let me drop here my review for this boutique that I went too several hours ago. So, I'll start with the interior, it was nice, nothing special but not bad also. But unlike from the shops that I went to before, I can say that it is already common and they are comparable to others. But it's still good. Then for the staffs, well, they are nice, accommodating and friendly. They are assisting when I have questions or if I want to look for something around the shop. And of course, for the products, I can say that they have good quality, it was my first purchase from their shop and I am quietly satisfied from what I bought. So, I got 2 shirts for myself and 1 shirt for my brother. The texture and fabric look comfortable to wear, so thumbs up for that. I also like the shorts in their boutique but I have limited budget that time so, yeah maybe next time. read more

This boutique has everything you could possibly want (literally head-to-toe shopping) and is so beyond curated well, it's my go-to boutique that myself (and my clients) looove. While some pieces can be pricey, they've got such a great range (which is why I love it so much). What I love most? (Also dangerous, HA) is that they've always got new merchandise coming in so you'll be seeing new goods all.the.time. Cinnamon is far and away my favorite Roscoe Village boutique; Emily, the proprietor of the store, is always friendly and gives great suggestions when you let her know what you're looking for. There is a great selection of denim at a variety of price ranges and she carries great accessories. Selfishly, I hope that this place stays a "sort of secret" if for no other reason than she carries Orla Kiely bags and I hate to have the competition...but since I'm all about supporting small businesses in my neighborhood, I had to post. read more

It breaks my heart to give only two stars to an independently owned boutique. I offer it because of the sweet girl working the store the day I visited. I won a gift certificate for $25 to Cinnamon Boutique some months back. I was so excited to come into the store and see what I could walk out with. Maybe some jewelry or a nice top? I was even willing to offer up my own money if I found something adorable over $25. Unfortunately I could not find ANYTHING in the store that interested me whatsoever. Now that is highly unusual! The racks of clothes were meant for a plain woman. Boring. Ruffles. Frumpy. Maybe mom-like? Not my style at all! I walked out with my gift certificate in hand thinking that I may be back someday to try again, but who am I fooling? I probably won't ever be back. read more

Well my wife is a fan... not really me. But they do have chairs near the fitting room so I can sit down and relax while she plays fashion show. Its pretty much a given on a nice spring/summer weekend we'll walk around Roscoe Village and will end up in here. She likes the clothing, I think they look good on her. read more

They always have the cutest things in the window and have inspired a couple of my outfits, but it's your classic boutique with boutique-prices. I've gone here a few times just to look around and see if there's anything I love... but most of the time I walk out empty-handed. Its pretty small (about 10 racks?) and very seasonal. They carry the normal boutique-brands: Free people, BCBG, etc. with a few random companies. The store owner is great - she'll custom order something for you if its not in your size. Overall, it's not worth going to if you aren't already in the area, but you should stop in if you're having a lazy weekend of window shopping. read more

Cinnamon is hands down my favorite place to shop...whether it be to buy casual sweatpants, a dress for a gala or anything in between- they have it all! The owner, Emily, has an amazing eye for fashion and is constantly refreshing inventory. Even my friends who visit from NYC always want to make a stop here! The clothes, jewelry and shoes are unique - not the same old stuff you find in a department store. I can't begin to tell you how many compliments I get on anything I'm wearing from Cinnamon. Emily and her staff are always so friendly and helpful - it truly is such a great shopping experience all around. Love that it's in my hood!! read more

I discovered this boutique over 10 years ago and have never looked back. Both Jen and Emily are helpful to find me whatever it is I"m looking for that day; causal or dressy for a night out. AND I buy my favorite jewelry b/c I know no one else will be wearing it; lots of one of a kind pieces. I no longer live in Chiago but seriousy make sure I get to Cinnamon everytime I visit! Big SHINEY RINGS FOR THE HOLIDAYS! If you want to find something sparkly to wear on your fingers then this is a good place to start. I have had a great time finding unique pieces of jewelry and I love the fact that real gem stones are used in almost all of the pieces and the prices are very reasonable. I love big stone rings they have a pretty good selection and will special order sizes for you. I always check out the clothes and if there is anything on the sale rack which is pretty good. The Owner is almost always there and its not a high pressure place. They let you shop and leave you alone but are always happy to answer your questions. read more

I love the clothes here, but it's a pretty pricey boutique ($50 for a long underwear top, yowza!). I could buy everything in this place and I would be happy. It's a very chic, relaxed style. I don't come here very often (with the prices), but for the most part everything in here is lovely and the sales associates are helpful. And, per the name "Cinnamon", the store smells like cinnamon. read more

This is a great place to shop! The store is small, but has a variety of clothing lines and styles. Pricing is reasonable, and they have a great sale section too! I like that I can find unique pieces that aren't ridiculously overpriced. They have everything from denim to dresses as well as coats and outerwear. The decision of whether or not to Yelp this place was really hard because on some level I want to keep it my little secret. Sometimes after work I'll be walking home from the train and if the day has been less than stellar a little pop into Cinnamon always brightens my spirts. Minus one star for high prices, not ridiculous for boutiques, but a little out of my everyday price range. I love to get a few pieces here though to spice up my otherwise budget concious wardrobe. Great independently owned neighborhood spot. They're constantly getting in new merchandise, so it's great to keep stopping in. If you don't find something the first time you shop, try again in a couple of weeks. Prices range from inexpensive with brands like Tulle & Kenzie to mid-range with, Three Dots, Notice, BCBG. Some fantastic jean lines include Kasil & Anlo. Fabulous jewelery selection from local designers (Ulia) as well as bigger names (Chan Luu). Has jewelry trunk shows from Ulia a few times a year which offer endless choices. Emily, the owner is very helpful and sweet, as is Jen. The space is lovely. DO NOT PARK IN THE LOT ACROSS THE STREET. I LOVE this boutique! Its everything I want when I think of great Chicago shopping: amazing clothes, unique accessories, quality pieces that will last more than one season, local designers, independently owned, helpful staff; Cinnamon is just lovely. The style here is more modern classic than ultra trendy, which I love because modern styles last longer. I can always find a timeless dress or denim and almost always have a tough time trying to stay within my budget and not buying everything I try on. That being said, I'm picky and overly critical so its not often that I have such great luck. If I want to walk away with an armload of things, I feel like I've struck gold. I love this boutique! They have a great selection of adorable stuff from awesome brands. There's a good mix of casual and dressier stuff, too. And super cute accessories. As an added bonus, I tried on not one, but two, maxi dresses here that were long enough for my 5'9" frame, which is pretty much unheard of. This place has great casual Ts, designer denim and dressy pieces that are good for late nights out.. as well as a funeral. (yep true) It's a sweet neighborhood spot that you really can shop for almost any occasion at. Emily and Jen who are there a lot are super friendly and quite helpful. They will nicely bring you other suggestions in the fitting room which is great. I am all about service. I've also been there when they have done their October fundraisers for breast cancer, which is really nice and thoughtful. I can't say enough good things about this boutique. When you walk in, you smell their lovely signature vanilla/cinnamon candles (which they also sell), and the selection of clothes, shoes and jewelry is fantastic. They have everything from big name designers to small local designers. It's the perfect place to buy unique fashion-forward pieces that not everyone else has (vs. shopping at a department store). Yes, a lot of it is pricey, but that's because a lot of the items are unique designer pieces that would cost just as much online or in a department store. They also have a lot of sale merchandise in the back for when shopping on a budget, and there is price variety. This is also a woman owned and operated business, and the service is great. After living in the neighborhood for years, I moved out of state, but they still ship things to me that I see on their instagram feed (which is great for the latest fashion ideas!). read more

My friend and I walked into Cinnamon Boutique after eating brunch at Victory Banner. This boutique is very unique and fashionable. The owner has great fashion sense. Jen who works there is friendly and knows the product lines sold there. It is in a great neighborhood. It has great tops and dresses.
