I have tried and tried and tried to like this salon but I have had enough and will never return after a year and half. The owner is unreliable and no shows on appointments. The tall new technician that sits way in the back with dark hair, glasses and sniffles is RUDE af and pulls, pushes, squeezes your hand, and "disciplines and taps" at your fingers to force maneuver you into a position that is comfortable for her to manage and then she still files the nails crooked. She yelled continually and gave me dirty looks like a damn school principle... no no don't touch. No no don't move! No no this! No no that! Woman! These are MY fingers. I have spent 30 years getting my nails done all over the country and I know how to sit properly to have my nails done. Never has anyone yanked and pulled or made one comment about how I sit or tilt my fingers! Maybe just maybe you are an incompetent nail technician! Have you ever thought of that? Another technician Lynn never ever gives you what you ask for! Ever! Not wanting to be rude I waited on several occasions to see what she suggested and it ended up sucking. I went back with determination to stick to my color, style and shape and demand what I want and she said that certain high demand gel colors were out of stock (unless you pay extra)! My wife needed a back-fill a few days ago, we were in the area, so we stopped by Blooming Nails & Spa to see if they could get her in.. We were greeted promptly with a smile and were told that my wife could be seen in less then 5 minutes. I went to my meeting, leaving my wife to get her Manicure.. When I returned an hour later, Jason was just finishing up with what turned out to be the BEST french manicure my wife has ever received.. As her nails were drying I went to the counter to pay, I was pleasantly surprised that the Manicure price was $10.00 less then we usually pay.. I would not return to this salon, because clearly they lack integrity. I got a gel mani/pedi (no acrylics, all 1 color) and I know for a fact my pedicure was $35, because that's what I asked for. However, I was charged a total of $82, not including tip. Meaning they charged me $47 to paint my own nails with gel polish. I then called to ask what a gel manicure costs, and they stated $30..so beware of getting ripped off, or ask for exact pricing in advance. read more

First experience was great. This one NOT SO MUCH!! I came in yesterday and was told it would be an hour wait. 3 pedi, one with mani, so its understandable. No biggie. so I asked to make an appointment for the next day/today. Upon arrival I was treated terribly!! They were expecting us but... we still had to wait. When I asked about the mani it was as if i was putting them out. I asked if I should do the mani or pedi first to avoid the other 2 in my party having to wait. They said it was the same either way... with a very irritated tone. I was then the 3rd to have the pedi started. Now the other 2 will have to wait even longer. Ugh!!! First time in- I did not enjoy my experience. I booked two pedis for me and a friend. When we walked in- they started on my friend, but I had to wait 15 min before my pedi began. Also, the nail salon is not clean- it was run down and dirty- the floors, the doors, everything I looked at. When I asked to not have salt scrub and could I have a substitute- the only choice was paraffin wax for $10. So I didn't get it. There was no great leg massage, no wonderful foot rub- and I ended up paying $45 plus tip for the worst pedi experience ever. Gel is $17 on top on the service. The gel polish on my toes does look nice and I enjoyed the conversation with my friend. But I could not get out of there fast enough. I am a person who likes the experience of getting a pedi, and the price point is important to me as well, that's why I tried this place. My vote is I will not be returning and I would not recommend to anyone. read more

Let me start by saying that I have been going here for four years and getting my nails done in general for 15. My bank statements tell me that I have spent over $600 in the last year and a half, and most likely more than $1200 total because I usually pay in cash. I will never spend another dime here. I went to get a full set put on, with a gorgeous mermaid-y (blue-green) glitter tip. Everything seemed fine until after I left and realized that the tech had used the acrylic and then painted over my entire nail with a very cloudy pink.... completely nulling the glitter. It just looked like blue/green dots and bubbles.... hardly one speck of glitter was able to be seen. I went back the next day to get them fixed and the lady grabbed my hand and just said "no, that's how it's supposed to be." I said "No, I have been coming here a long time and the glitter never looks this way, you can't even see it." She just kept saying "no, no" and demanded "what do you want!?" I told her very nicely that I just wanted the glitter to show like it is supposed to" and was just met with indifference. I had my daughter with me so I left. I was still frustrated so I attempted to give them a call a few minutes later. The same lady who did my nails answered and did not care one bit. I let her know that I had been coming for four years and that I would not be back if this was how they treat their customers. She simply said "ok, bye bye." and hung up. Just, wow. You guys just lost a steady $800/year and I will be letting every single one of my friends know about this. I hope it was worth it. The service is personable and the work is exactly what you want. I have had acrylics, gels manicures and pedicures with all of the employees. My favorite is Lee her attention to detail with my manicure as well as acrylics is what keeps me returning to her. Lee also waxes my eyebrows and is excellent at what she does. I've been here a few times before, and it was great. Recently stopped by with my mom & the second we stepped in , I should have known to go else where. The owners sister was incredibly rude, she looked like she was ready to go home. My mom was fortunate enough to have her do her nails and did not make an effort to even make small talk. Rushed the nails and let her go on her way. The only reason I would consider going back is the super friendly woman that helped me out. I have been going to this nail spa regularly for 3 years now and have yet to leave disappointed. Tammy is my go to, but you really can't go wrong with any of the technicians. I love this place. It's my second time in and I think it's my new place. This time I had Ly (pronounced Lee) and she was amazing. She was easy to talk to and was patient with my color indecisiveness. She did a fill with gel color, my pedicure, and my brow wax and she made sure i loved the result of each service. She was much more meticulous about my nails than most techs are and I really appreciated that. Such a sweetie. Definitely coming back to her. They also just got new massage chairs and they are awesome. Good music and Sunday football on the tv... I don't think this place could get any better. read more

Probably won't come back here to get my nails done. I paid $63 for a basic pedicure ($23) and a fill ($40). My nails are crooked, and I was cut several times. This was despite making the woman doing my nails aware that she was breaking skin when filing and that it hurt. She still did not pay attention to what she was doing. Then she asked to be tipped, which I do anyway, but I thought that was very unprofessional. In all I paid $73 (that's $63 with a $10 tip) for crooked nails, cut fingers, and poor service. Hope others have a better experience if you choose to get your nails done here. read more

My first visit to this salon was FABULOUS! But the second and third visits were very very disappointing, so I won't go back. Specifically, my nail tech the second two visits (same person) was less than professional, and the pedicures were both very sloppy. She seemed in a big hurry for me to leave on both occasions even though there were empty chairs. I should have asked for someone else yesterday, but wanted to give the second visit a chance to be a one-off occurrence. But the last straw...she didn't make eye contact with me when I checked out yesterday, nor did she acknowledge the customary 20℅ tip I gave. I didn't see closely enough before leaving how messy and bubbly the polish was, or I would have insisted on it being fixed. I was home before I noticed, so unfortunately I won't go back. read more

I tried this since they had good reviews, but you know it depends on who you get!!! They may have some good manicurist but I did not get one! She was middle aged, I think her name was Zia-no name tag but that was on her tool basket. I wanted a french pedicure with color for a graduation. First of all they have tub liners, but instead of using them, which I had called first and asked about, they used Saran wrap. I also had asked if they used an autoclave to sterilize the tools, I was told yes. She took a packet out which had the cuticle clipper, but used old toenail clippers from her basket - unsanitary!! I observed the towels just being rinsed in the sink then put in the oven/possible autoclave, no laundering! Yuck!!! Then on to the quality of what I was paying for... my usual place gives me a nice long massage, this was a quick just rub the lotion in thing. I am adding pictures of the polish, it is horrible! I cannot believe she had the nerve to think it was fine! She asked after the big toe if it was ok, I said yes but then the other toes were a very wide line looking rediculous. I asked her to do it narrower, she was mad then, but they still look horrible, not even, just very sloppy! I will do my own before I go here again! Don't say you haven't been warned!!! read more
