Really bad customer service here. I ordered on the app, the app said 4:49 pick up time. I get there 4:51 and they haven't even worked on it. I wait another 15 minutes and it's still not ready. There was no line when I even got there. Then I ask for the manager to refund my order and they do. They didn't even offer me the pizza for free. I didn't take the pizza because it wasn't ready, and later that night find out I was recharged when I left. I disputed it with their corporate office and had to go through my bank to get the illegal charge reversed. Ridiculous a company like this would have this type of customer service. read more

Tried this one out since it's closer than the one on Colorado. Huge space, lacking in customers. Probably due to the fact the staff wasn't on point. They: Didn't welcome me. I saw everyone gossiping/talking There was no energy. The assembly line was very slow until I said "I think I'll cancel." (Customer behind me was going to be served before me after waiting a few minutes too long) One girl did decide to get on it and serve me properly. The cashier was told by someone else to ring me out with a snicker and a laugh. Found that odd, but the one that helped me was nice, made eye contact and smiled. Overall, I don't know why they put a blaze here it's a bad location on the sketchy side of the rose bowl area. The staff should benchmark the hustle and bustle and energy that the east Colorado (next to Target near lake ave) staff has and get on it. Keep the flow going. It is a new location should be buzzing with energy and should be trying its hardest to gain traction. Service was pretty great here. The staff was really helpful in explaining the process of creating a pizza. If you create your own pizza and it comes out bad probably your own fault since there are so many options. Pizza come out quick even if they are busy and the agua Fresca was on point. read more

This location is down the street from my daughter's gymnastics, so we're here more often than I'd like. The wait is consistently long (at 1:20 on Saturdays). Music is so loud, making it difficult to hear your order being called out. Employee calling out orders told me the order I was picking up was for another person with the same name. Blaze Pizza is my absolute favorite pizza place however this location was the absolute worst experience EVER. I'm a nurse and was on my lunch break yesterday with a bunch of my coworkers. We waited for 30 min in the line, there were so many people and it was so unorganized. The paper where they write our names to identity the pizza were all out order. Some fell on the floor. (Gross) I noticed Jean, putting online orders before our orders and asked if online orders table priority of physical people, she retorted yup and kept walking. Extremely rude. I said we've been waiting for 30 mins she just shook her head. When my pizza came out of the oven I walked over there and said I don't care how hot the pizza is can I get it because I have to go. We were very excited to have Blaze in South Pasadena. It's close enough to the middle school for kids to walk and eat here on days they have certain activities, and it's closer than the one in Alhambra or Pasadena. I don't think I can comment on the food that much, because it's "build your own". But I'd like to comment on the service. I failed to get the name of the person, but there's a large-figured woman with glasses who seem to be like the supervisor here. In my last visit in May, not only did she seemed like she hated the world and everyone in it, there was not an ounce of descent customer service. She was at the cash register, but she did not greet us in a descent manner, she did not speak to us in a descent manner, and she did not listen or answer to my questions/requests in a descent manner. What's worse, she seemed to be yelling/rebuking other staff and putting them in a bad mood, even though they were serving the customers in a much more polite and friendly manner. My kids call her the grumpy lady because my bad experience with her didn't seem to be an isolated incident. Needless to say, we don't look forward to going here anymore because of the grumpy lady. I arrived at8:45 P.M. on Friday June 15,2018 to order two pizzas with my daughter. I asked for sausage and pineapple for me and my daughter ordered pepperoni and cheese. As I waited I noticed the female employees were taking orders, washing dishes and filling orders. And the male employees were by the oven. 9 employees and no one had cleaned the bathrooms or tables. The counter where you pick up the pizza The cooler was dusty and was not full of merchandise. And your business is brand new and not one employee was sweeping the floor or answering customers questions . And wend I got home to eat our pizza the bottom of the pizza was burned and we're are the pineapple pieces. I will not be returning to your establishment. The staff ablaze was so amazing for allowing us to take over at their dining room for my son's 11th birthday party. he loves going to Blaze and we go often so we figured it would be the perfect place to host the event. the manager made sure that there was extra staffing that day to accommodate the number of people that we were planning to bring in ( 60ish hungry folks) as well as make sure the remaining guests that they had were taken care of and everyone was happy. we set up the dining room and even inspired others who would have never thought to have an event there to consider it for their next gathering many customers that we didn't know asked if they could take pictures and we shared some of our treats and balloons with little kids that weren't involved in the party as well as the staff for making us feel so welcome. Shout out to manager Mireia. Today my grandma placed an order for the family meal that comes with 4 kids doughs and toppings. We ordered two yet only received one small dough per order. This was frustrating and in addition I called and spoke to two other people that forwarded me to a manger voicemail instead of listening to my concerns. We didn't realize it was one per visit but the staff made it happen! We ordered beer and one we ordered wasn't pouring well so we got another. Later a staff member came up to us and gave us a free glass of that beer! A little later, Monalisa came up to us and provided us w/ an entire pitcher of beer on the house! She's the best!
