Came in yesterday. Place wasn't busy at all. Tell me how the shift leader forgot to put sauce in my pizza? My family ended up eating without me since mine took well over 30 minutes to remake. Then she doubled down by telling me I should've specified about the sauce because it was listed as a build your own. Look lady, in what world does pizza not come with sauce? Better yet, I asked for the art lovers pizza as a template. It's not rocket science to follow a template. Second, why are you doubling down while admitting you made the mistake? Apologizing and then telling me it's MY fault is crazy making. Pizza is not hard to make ya'll. Clueless shift leader. Poor customer service. I think this might honestly be the best Blaze Pizza location ever. The employees here are so kind and incredibly patient. We had our little one with us, and he asked a million questions. Arrived less than 30 minutes to close and was still greeted with a smile and 3 Welcomes. The staff was kind and everyone was cleaning. The veggies looked fresh and all the sauces ready to go. This particular location shares a unit with Hoots Wings by Hooters. Which is a nice addition if you like wings and pizza together. I just went with the pizza this time for me and the kiddo. For her the plain cheese and for me I got their new signature bbq chicken pizza on a cauliflower crust for the extra protein (tryna maintain these gains!). In my experience Blaze pizza is pretty much a hit every time for me. The ingredients looked fresh and the servers were efficient and attentive. The ambiance here is a lil sports bar-esque, they have a few TV's all playing sports center, which is up my alley. We ordered our food to-go. It took about 10minutes for the pizzas to cook mine taking the longest. And we were on our way. For the taste the food was hot still when we got home. Both pizzas were sensational, I smacked mine and my kid had some leftovers.....that probably won't see tomorrow lol read more

I've come here many times. Every time the servings are huge! I love it. They also have TV's here to watch sports on because of the Hoots Wings that is inside of their dining room. Convenient way to get both your pizza and wing fix. Could be a five star but the team just seems so apathetic and like they don't wanna be there. They work quick but take no time to engage with the guest. In addition, the kitchen had about 6-7 staff and the dining room had no one attending to it so the benches and tables were dirty and chairs weren't pushed in and in the way of the walk ways. read more

I always ask for my pizzas to be extra crispy and they make them that way and even ask a couple of times if I'm happy with the bake, or if I want it in a bit longer! It's always a treat to have pizza at Blaze. I've been to many different locations, and I'm never disappointed. This particular location is one of my favorites . The ingredients are always fresh and plentiful when topped onto my pizza. The staff is helpful. From the start of the order, I've never felt rushed, and my pizza comes out perfectly every time. I've always had a good experience with their staff, but Ashley is so nice and attentive. She deserves a special mention! They also have beers on draft. My personal favorite is the Hazy IPA from their current selection. The beers are cold . Dessert is also on the menu. S'mores, chocolate brownies, and chocolate chip cookies are delicious . He selected the Cheesy Bread Bundle, which includes a 2 topping large pizza, an order of Cheesy Bread, and two 20 oz bottled drinks for $25. They also have a take Two Special for $13.75 where you get an 11-inch pizza and a side of your choice. Ordering on the site is easy. You can customize your sauce & toppings. In addition to their classic dough, you can also choose Gluten Free, Keto, High-Rise, or Cauliflower crust for an additional charge. (Vegan cheese is also available.) The pizza was ready when he arrived to pick it up and it was still warm when he got back. The pizza was fine for what it was, and they were very generous with the toppings. The cheesy bread was good but I wasn't a fan of the marinara sauce that came with it. It needed some seasoning. The prices are great if you have a family to feed or having a large gathering. However, I am also that generous reviewer praising their business model for unlimited creations. What I ordered: BUILD YOUR OWN PIZZA (Spicy Marinara, Buffalo Mozzarella, Salami, Artichoke, Kalamata Olive, Roasted Red Pepper, Mushroom, and Garlic). I specifically picked out expensive flavors and a few of my favorite toppings. The result was BANGING. I love the combination of everything that can be pricey. Although it is far from combining caviar, uni, and blue fin toro, this was as good as it gets. The service was good. I got through all my selections without having to ask for extra. At Blaze, they use a mechanical device to mold the pie and a gas pit fire to cook the pizza in a minute. We wanted to finish half of the pizza at home. First time here at this location. I like the dining room here more than the Alhambra location. It felt bigger and nicer. They have a tiny parking lot, but there's always street parking and it's not super busy. Love how quick they make your order. The server was very kind to provide their tips on what ingredients and sauces to get for your pizza. Their restrooms and tables are clean too so that's a plus! read more

Living near Blaze Pizza, not visiting is hard when it's so close! Finding parking is very easy, and this restaurant is quite big, with seating accompanied by pop music playing at an indoor volume that allows for conversation. I decided to eat here one night after shopping at Vallarta and ordered a Build-Your-Own. The first staff member to help me was quite unenthusiastic when putting together the cheese and worked extremely slow. Don't get me wrong, we all have off days, but they didn't feel present at all! Thankfully, a second staff member picked up the slack and built my pizza along with me, and we scooted down the ingredients to the cash register within a minute. Blaze Pizza has been my go to spot when I'm craving for pizza. Although their prices have gone up, I feel the size of the "Build Your Own" pizza got bigger. I remembered it was a bit smaller with only 6 slices, but now it looks slightly bigger with 8 slices. They have a variety of endless toppings to choose from. I always get the spicy red sauce with mozzarella cheese with bunch of pepperoni, Italian sausages, bacon, and veggies. I personally like coming to this particular location because they always have cilantro available. After a sub-par experience at Blaze Pizza in La Canada I'm impressed and pleased with how this manager handled it. A busy Sunday night, I'm tired and after getting home with a pizza (for someone else) which was totally wrong the manager apologized, refunded my order (and tip) and despite the fact I told her it wasn't about the money I just want them to do better, she replaced the pizza as well. Kudos and I intend to make my way over there soon and replace the tip to the staff, I know they work very hard. UPDATE: sadly my 4 stars have been reduced to 2 for a simple and unbelievable reason. The replacement pizza for the wrong order was wrong again! This business has to do better, this is ridiculous. I stopped in yesterday before we ate the pizza because I felt bad having them return my $5 tip on a $12 pizza so I left $6 yesterday. Push your tray down the cafeteria line, ordering an 11" individual-size pizza exactly how you'd like it. Into the kiln it went, and ready to eat by the time your credit card was swiped. Everything's the same, except no more waiting. Order on line, however you like it, pay in advance, and by the time you arrive, it's all boxed up on the shelf waiting for you. It's awesome. Literally, grab and go. Want more? There are some new, pandemic-era menu items worth a sniff: best of a bunch -- a one-top pizza and soft drink for $7.95, this is an incredible deal; a larger pizza that serves three (have not tried that, I like my own); cheesy bread (a cheat meal all by itself, it's that good); and Blaze's version of garlic rolls called "dough knots," which are dough, garlic and cheese, again, totally worth it). For the price of Dominos or Pizza Hut or one of those, everyone can get their own custom pizza. This reviewer's recommendation? Skip the delivery services and pick-up to preserve maximum hotness. I came here for lunch one day since I forgot to meal prep over the weekend... First off, I was very surprised at how the area had changed since I had last worked there 10 years ago, a lot of things were the same but Blaze seemed to be the newest addition. I walk in and see how clean and spacious the restaurant was, that threw me off because I was not expecting it to be so big! The customer service was amazing! The young lady behind the counter allowed me to taste the different salad selections they had before deciding. She even told me that I could do half and half on my salad too which I thought was cool. I ordered the half and half which was half of a pizza and half of a salad. I am not eating much meat right now so I got a Veggie pizza with mostly all the vegetables. I couldn't wait to tear into it because of my love for Blaze pizza. I usually get the regular tomato sauce but this time I got pesto. My pizza was still amazing with that minor change but moving forward I will continue to get tomato sauce. My salads were fair. I got Caesar and arugula. The Caesar was delicious and the arugula not very good. I think if the salad was tossed in the balsamic dressing, it would have tasted less bitter and much better. I ordered a gluten-free crust which is made with tapioca flour and now I think I'd choose that over regular crust! Great flavor and still has crunch and chewy texture. I couldn't really tell the difference but for you gluten free folks you won't be disappointed. This location is my local favorite because it's not busy and there's plenty of space to be social distanced. My perfect lunch is the Take Two with half pizza & small salad. The salads are fresh & delicious. My fave has to be the Arugula & mixed berries with goat cheese & balsamic. They also have Cesar & Buffalo chicken salads. My fave salad is the White top (cream sauce, bacon, garlic & oregano) with mushrooms. They have a multitude of toppings, sauces & crusts for the pizzas! They now have a Keto crust! Lunch special: $5 half pizza! You can create your own too!! I love the assortment of drinks available. In the case (pic below), fountain sodas, fresh lemonades & Agua Frescas! My absolute fave is the Blood Orange Lemonade!! OMG!! I like the idea that you can add a lot of veggies into your pizza compared to regular cheese, pepperoni options you get from other places. This particular place is a lot bigger than most pizza places with huge counter and plenty of seating. There's also lots of parking spaces since it's shared with Vons supermarket and other stores. Customer service is great. Staff helps with your choices and even give recommendations on which toppings would complement each other. And no, thank you. I'm not coming on Pi day for their $3.14 pizza. I find the $8 regular price already a deal on its own. read more

Wow, this place was a massive disappointment. I keep hearing good things and these places are popping up everywhere. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but all I really got was flatbread toast with barely any cheese. I mean, it's a pizza place, shouldn't there be cheese on the friggin pizza? I got a BBQ chicken one with no onions or peppers but just because I didn't get those means to skip out on other toppings. My friend got the same thing and she agreed, this place is a waste of money.
