I came here before and had good experiences, but their workers are really out of it and slow. I was picking up my pizza and I asked the guy for ranch and he tells me "sorry were out of ranch" and I said "okay that's fine" but he's really lagging to even cut my pizza he just had it their on the container.(no it was not pack he was just walking around) and I asked him "what sauce is that right their next to my pizza is it Caesar or ranch? He lies and says "ohhh it's chipotle yea many people don't know about it" And I say "I'll try it" and he looks shock. Grabbed lunch here with a co-worker. It's a great concept that seems to be popping up everywhere. The build-your-own pie is appealing to most. The staff here is spot on and helpful. If you don't quite understand, they will walk you thru. The toppings looked fresh and plentiful. Walked thru and filled my pie with my favorites. We also grabbed a house made s'more for dessert. They were kind enough keep it on the fire for us until were finished our pizza. The crust was thin and flavorful. The cook was perfect and the toppings were spread in an even manner. Pumped on blaze. I had a wonderful experience at Blaze--great food, great prices, helpful staff, and clean eating area. Everyone behind the counter was friendly and helped me figure out all my options. This would be the third Blaze location I've been to,and I have to say this one wins for hospitality and service! Staff here are welcoming and friendly and super helpful. They were very sympathetic and careful about my wheat allergy, and even were apologetic in having me wait a few minutes for them to make my gluten-free dough. It definitely made me feel secure! I like that I have not had a long wait here all the times I've visited. I like fast and friendly service, especially when it comes to food. I like how they would give me all the toppings I want on my make my own pizza. My fav. toppings are red sauce, parmesan cheese, chicken, bacon, artichoke, onions and mushrooms. I was going to give it one star but I will give it a 4 star because the pizza is really good. I am only writing this review in hopes that the owner or district manager will read this review. Every time I come here the tables are dirty and trash all over the floor. I also own a restaurant and I would like it if someone would tell me what's going on as a consumer. I had to drive an hour out of my way to stop by this place. I got stuck in traffic on Forest Lawn Drive. I had to take random side streets to avoid the mess that is the 134 during rush hour with an accident causing a pile-up of cars. I was tired, hungry, and disheveled by the time I limped into this Blaze this past evening. Knowing how Blaze works, and not expecting much, I made it to the counter to mumble out an order. It was so worth it. First off- first off- the customer service here was excellent! The young woman and young man that made my pizza were pleasant, helpful, didn't skimp on toppings and seemed to genuinely enjoy some small aspect of their job (bless them, because I could never muster up any sort of semblance of happiness on my face in all my years of customer service). The pizza was made to perfection (crust was kind of soggy in the middle, but omg, so what, that's like, the only slightly bad part about that pizza and entire experience.) The guy at the register that rang up my order was great too. (Where did they find these happy people!?) Only regret is that I did not have cash to tip them!! I chose curbside pick up and for the second time, their parking is not available and no one is answering the phone. What is the point of this service? I thought maybe they are packed. Went in and there was only one customer in line!. Asked for the manager and let her know the situation and the answer is "I will let them know to answer the phone." Oh Blaze you sure are tasty! I'm torn, Pieology or Blaze? Arrgggghhhh! -Well blaze has a pesto drizzle that Pieology has not. That pesto drizzle is so good. -I like how Blaze sorta has no crust but is filled to the rim. -I love that their cheese only and standard pepperoni pizza is cheaper, that makes sense! -I hear their orange blood drink is good. I had lunch there with my daughter about two weeks and it was a great experience. The price was totally affordable. I ordered a cheese pizza, with half of it with ham and there was more than enough to share with my daughter. Brazilians are very proud of their pizzas, so american pizza was always acceptable, but not nice enough to make me smile. When I first met Blaze (now we've been to the Glendale and the Pasadena units), all my previous concepts were updated and we've finally found our pizza joint. Nice and fast line service, very friendly table service and top notch ingredients. The dough is thin and crunchy (which you can adjust if you remember to ask to more or less cooking time) and the pizza can be delicious. It's all up to you! Just make sure you ask for the amount YOU WANT of every ingredient, as every other place, staff tends to be very economic unless told otherwise. Plus, they have S'MORES! Brilliant! So, here's my recipe for the kickass comfort food Brazilian-like Ham pizza: - Red Sauce (my wife has it with White, and loves it). - LOTS of Mozzarella.. ask them to keep pouring, do not accept the first offering. Ask for more! - A pinch of Gorgonzola cheese - LOTS os Ham and make sure the pizza is COVERED with them - A pinch of Bacon - Fresh Basil - Salt and Oreganon - Olive Oil BEFORE it goes in to the oven - After it's done, an extra serving of Olive Oil and you are done! After a wonderful time helping my girl pick out items for her wedding coming up; we have to nourish the child. We went to this establishment on the 3rd floor. You have to stand in line and choose what type of pizza you would like for example: Gluten free or regular pie. The dough is made from advertisement disclaimer: on site so fresh ingredients and you go down the line like a cafeteria and choose the toppings you want on your pizza. We also chose garlic knots to snack on. Blaze calls your name out when the order is ready. The Pizza yum- I just took a small bite, garlic knots- lets just say not- A lot of garlic on it. However, what won me was their lemonade . Blaze had a blood orange one that gave me life!!! I was so thirsty and I couldn't get enough of it!!! Simply the best!! How many people care about mall reviews? Nobody right? WRONG!!! It's because you frequent this place so much things like saying "Hi how are you?" or leaving a review on yelp are so cherished/unheard of but still deserves to be recognized. I had an all around crumby day. It was raining/ woke up dizzy/ vision blurry/ migraine/ still had to go to work. And as I walked through the line at Blaze I thought- well this will make it a little better, I guess. I was wrong again. When I got to the cashier John B. he actually asked me how my day was. I was so numb at that point it caught me off guard. We had such a nice pleasant chat but it's not that I socialized it's the fact that he took the 30 seconds he was with me and showed he cared. He even came to my table later, REMEMBERED MY NAME , checked on me, and got me a box. Please promote this man. Working at the mall myself I know it's easy to just help someone and be on your way. But when you take a second to actually show some compassion, it changes someone's day. And I feel better too after I had my amazing pizza!! Shout out to Thomas who made my delicious pizza!!! I love pizza with white sauce and they have one on the menu called a white top although you can also build your own. The white top has white sauce, mozzarella cheese, bacon, garlic, oregano and arugula. I added feta and ricotta cheese too. Crust is crispy, service is quick and you have 6 slices of deliciousness. Not as busy as the big food court in the main part of the mall so you can find a place to sit without walking around 10 times. read more
