Been going here since they opened. I always get all the veggie options and the classic sauce with the pesto on the crust. You have to try the pesto on the crust, it makes all the difference. The crust is always good, I ask them to leave it in the fire a little longer just so it crisps on bottom since they do tend to get soggy sometimes. The lemonades they have are the best as with the blood orange one. Ok...so I'm giving a 4 star to this spot because the day I went, they were short handed during prime lunch hour. It took me longer to have my pizza made then it did for them to cook it and for me to start eating. The line was getting longer by the minute and one of the pizza makers was having a long drawn out conversation with everyone he helped. That's great if it's not busy, but if I'm here on my lunch, you better get to it mister! My pizza was however delicious. I loved the Italian Sausage, which tasted fresh. We used to order delivery frequently for their gluten-free/dairy-free option. Last time we ordered there was a live fly in my sealed salad container. Disgusting. I was unable to reach any human via phone to make them aware of the situation. They have one general email address (for all locations combined) and I waited a number of days for a response. After being promised a refund and free "pizza pass," I am still waiting for either of these things - 2 weeks later! Absolutely horrendous, and now no one is responding. Pretty standard business model, but I really love that they have gluten free crust. The dough was crispy and chewy, just like regular (somewhat soggy), pizza. I had the pesto sauce as a base and ample toppings. The toppings are diverse and fresh. I was not impressed with the employees not knowing what toppings were gluten free though. I asked the guy who was in charge of placing on the toppings for my pie, if the meats were gluten free, and he told me everything was gluten free, when in reality, he had no idea "because (he) didn't have any allergies". Thankfully the girl that took care of my order, overheard the conversation, and checked the ingredients for me. Most of the employees were sensitive and respectful of my allergy and they even changed their gloves often enough to prevent any cross-contamination. I also appreciate that only one person is in charge of getting the dough ready, so not everyone is touching flour- it minimizes the risk of exposure/cross contamination for those with an allergy. The atmosphere is relaxed and cheerful. It's very open and not cluttered. The table cleanup service was a little lacking for lunch, however. Wow...I would never have tried mall pizza, but this place is packed every time I walk by. So I decided to give it a try. Now I am a fan. I had the Veg Out and was surprised when I was asked if I wanted more toppings FREE OF CHARGE???? What? That's so awesome!!! The crust was super thin and crunchy. The sauce was delicious. Customer service is always great because the employees put up with the customers indecisiveness and requests. They always create the pizza in front of you and can even ask for extra on any toppings. They even have an employee wiping down tables to make sure the atmosphere is clean and collected. They'll even ask if they can take away your trash and check up on your experience. It's a small restaurant that is relatively quiet it's great if you just want to hangout and casually talk with friends or family. Ordered a BYOP (build your own pizza) over the net. It was supposed to be assembled but not yet in the oven by the time I arrived. I came 2 minutes early, and it was already set to go in. From there it was about 8 minutes and my own, personal pizza was ready to eat. I loved the crust (super thin wheat), the spicy red sauce, and since I picked the ingredients, I loved them, too. What I didn't like was the sparseness of the ingredients. Some slices were almost bare (I'm not exaggerating). Others were mostly covered, but still seemed pretty sparsely populated. Sorry but this establishment is probably the dirtiest place I have ever been to. Employees here overlap the sauces and condiments also I was served the crumbs of mushrooms when I asked for it, I had to ask Josh to please get new mushrooms. It's sad because my lady and I love coming here for a quick bite and it doesn't help that when you look at the employees making your pizza look like a herd of sheep ran through it. I wish they wiped the counter tops every 1-2 pizzas to keep the place at least looking clean. Instead we saw a sloppy counter, veggies all over the place, sauces drippings in the vegetables, and employees NOT changing out their gloves. Terrible,terrible,terrible! We used to come to this location all the time and it was great. It's been about 6 months and let me tell you- A lot has changed. Let's start off with the 20 minute wait to get place an order to get a pizza, and the wait was not because they were busy. There was only 10 or so people in line but they were very very understaffed. Once ordering the pizza the entire prep area was extremely dirty, the ingredients looked terrible, and the spray they used to spray on the machine before they flattened out the dough they now spray on all the dough sitting in the plastic tray. Reason I mention this is because I would request them not to spray it on there because something in the spray gives me a headache. Also it looks like they changed vendors or the quality of the ingredients because it did not look up to par.Once our pizza was cooked there was nothing but ash and black residue all over the bottom, clearly from the oven not being cleaned. Wood-fired pizza meets Subway. Not that it's healthy or anything... Blaze is located closer to Bloomingdale's and it's fairly well-signed from the food court. There is indoor and mall walkway seating. The concept is interesting and you're not paying CPK prices. You get to choose the pizza you want from start to finish or you select one of their "signature" selections. You follow the line as the pizza is made in front of you (the counter is very reminiscient of Subway). Once your ingredients are chosen the pizza is fired for 3 minutes - or at least they claim it is. I ended up waiting 10 minutes for mine due to the crowds. A few caveats: - They seem to run out of ingredients especially if it gets crowded. On my visit they were out of cherry tomatoes. - Not enough staff can really slow things down. read more

The toppings are always fresh, the dough is nice and thin and the staff has been consistent for months now. I usually get a build your own pizza and stack on the toppings. They do get busy on weekends and during peak lunch hours so the line maybe long however once your pizza is in the oven it's quick! read more
