We had dinner on Valentines evening. We had a reservation at 6:15 and were seating pretty much on time. Server was not very knowledgeable about the menu. Although she was friendly. One of the busiest days of the year and by 6:15 they were already out of several menu items! The food on our plates as well as those around us, seemed to be just thrown on the plate. No garnish at all. Husbands steak was over cooked and no seasoning. Wife's Salmon was also over cooked with no seasoning. Pretty bad when the highlight of the meal was the little side order of Mac & Cheese. We watched tables being cleaned off but floors under tables were not. We watched people sit at tables with crap all around their feet. We will look elsewhere next time hubby wants a steak! read more

I wanted to share my experience from our recent visit to your restaurant, which was meant to be a celebration for my husband's birthday. Unfortunately, it turned out to be quite disappointing. We started our evening at the bar, and initially, things seemed to be going well. However, as the bartender became preoccupied with waiting tables, we found ourselves waiting 5-10 minutes for drinks each time. While our appetizer was enjoyable, my husband's main course -- the ribs -- was far from satisfactory. He couldn't get any meat off the rack; it was predominantly gristle. When he voiced his concerns, the bartender kindly took the ribs back and offered him a substitute. He ordered chicken, but we waited 25 minutes without any updates or checks from the staff. Eventually, we felt it was necessary to approach the bartender personally to request our bill for the drinks and to leave. While we appreciate the bartender's effort to have our meals written off, there was no follow-up from management or any acknowledgment of our poor experience, which was disheartening. read more

The food there was lack luster we got stale bread, tough chicken strips on out appetizer, and the baked potato soup tasted like it was mixed with cheddar and broccoli soup. Our waitress was rude right off the bat and forgot the cocktails ordered until half way through our meal. The steaks were either severely under seasoned or overly salty. All around not a great first experience. Their was also an employee using their personal cup at the drink fountain and that's a huge no no in the food industry cause if he was sick he's getting the entire restaurant sick. We love Black Angus! My wife and I didn't realize that Spokane had a Black Angus! We loved going to the one in Chandler, Arizona when we lived there! We were so excited to eat at this location! We got the Campfire Feast with the Wagon Wheel appetizer! We loved it all, especially the molasses bread! I ordered the ribs and they were absolutely delicious! My wife raved over the sirloin! All of the meats were so delicious! We both got the mashed garlic potatoes and they were scrumptious! We also had the best server, Ashleigh! First, Marly the server was the most kind, sweetest, and accommodating waitress! She was so patient.. especially with the table behind us that seemed demanding. The campfire feast for 1 you get an app,( I got the chicken Sriracha honey chicken fingers), two sides, (salad with the best blue cheese, & the yummiest Mac& cheese).an entree, (I upgraded to prime rib), and a dessert! It had been years since we had been to BA restaurant, so we weren't sure what to expect. Our server tonight was Kelly W, and she killed it for us. It's been years since I was last at Black Angus. Some work friends and I came here tonight for their happy hour and dinner. Their happy hour menu (in Spokane) consisted of two food items. I don't recall what they were, but nothing like what I saw online. We started with a few happy hour drinks: Cowboy Long Island, Classic Martini, and a Strawberry Lemon Drop. The drinks were all great. For food we ordered the Appetizer Sampler (shrimp cocktail, fried zucchini, potato skins, and buffalo chicken strips). Cowboy Nachos, and a Chicken, bacon, avocado sandwich. The food was good, the service was good, but slow. I will give it another try in a few months. read more

I was impressed with my take out order on our very first visit at your restaurant. I had made an error in reading the menu and Patrick was very gracious in making things right. So right when we returned to Spokane, a week later, we had to return to this fine restaurant. The steaks were cooked to perfection! We had the tenderloin with wedge salad and potatoes.
