She was so sweet and really went out of her way to make our experience special. Her name was Riti and she was great. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Prices are high, food is mid, portions are low. Spent $30 on two kebabs, and a chicken breast that came with two naans and no rice. It should be illegal to charge for water and not have a tap water option. My dad and I went here for lunch and waited 30 minutes for two naans, two beef kebabs and a chicken breast to be cooked. We could cook a 3 course meal in that time! I don't understand how this place is still in business. We probably should have read the reviews before coming here. They seated us, gave us menus and then 30 seconds later someone else came to take our order. We asked for waters and she said okay but what do you want to eat. I told her we just got there and she walked away in a huff for whatever reason. Then we ordered 5 minutes later and proceeded to wait 30 minutes for luke warm food. The place was nearly empty so I don't understand why the wait was so long. Their parking lot was covered in this foul smelling oil that I'm assuming was theirs that they improperly disposed of. They were cleaning it as we left but I have residue all over my tires and the bottoms of my shoes. Visited this joint yesterday . Told the receptionist guy that some of my in the group are fasting and can we have water and dates while we are waiting . When we arrived and I asked for water and dates , it was never delivered and I have to go to the Gas station to get the water. The food is ok but service was terrible due to shortage of staff and the front desk management . In menu it says closing 10pm but they close the kitchen at 930p. So if someone come at 920pm, he has 10 min to order food . This is most terrible service . The menu said they have lamb chops but the didn't . Fahad told me it's gone . Is this a professional answer that you don't have because it's gone in weekend at 830pm. WoW what a service I asked the guy named Fahad to get Habib Bhai the Manager, 3 times but he never did . Price was too high like 1 strip of Bihari kabab for $15 plus tip. Pakola can $2.49 plus tax plus tip Hard and burnt naan $15 chicken boti only 5 small pieces. I gave them good tip like 25% because that's not waiters fault. Waiters are respectful and attentive but Managment is very stingy and definitely in a wrong business. Horrible customer service! The girl taking orders over the phone Afreen is super rude! The manager Farhan or Farhad whatever is name is an idiot!!!! I don't understand how is he even a manager. He has no customer service, he's rude to customers, has no idea what he is doing. Food is not worth you being disrespected by their horrible staff. The only one who has any brain is the owner. I was walking out and he came up to us and apologized. Went there again ordered $400 worth of food for 3 different houses to go and they messed up on every single group order. Called to place an order today over the phone... We went for lunch. Upon entering we were greeted and seated promptly. You have to order at the register, which we did. Prices were good. We got the lunch specials that come with naan. Serving size was good and so was the presentation. The chicken tikka was tasty. The seekh kebab lacked spices/flavor but still not too bad. The Bihari was very good and meat was tender. The naan was not fluffy, needs work. The halwa and paratha was off the chain. Overall, the service and food was good. The food was fresh and you could definitely tell. Biggest scam on earth. High prices for very little amounts of food. the staff was nice and so was the ambiance but the food was okay and a little undercooked, and came in incredibly small portions despite costing 20-30$. Our niece took us to BK khan, in Dallas Tx, for dinner, this evening. We were a little skeptical after so-so experiences at more established places. What a surprise awaited us. The restaurant is well appointed with modern decor. No statues, icons, religious pictures etc. No typical, South Asian songs/ music (what a relief). We were greeted pleasantly and promptly seated. Our drinks orders were taken and a small but nicely bound menu was handed to us. Food was mainly barbecue, with just a few curries. We ordered Chicken Tikka, Beef Bihari, Beef Kabob and Aloo Chana Masala. This was accompanied with some Naan and Paratha Poori. The food took a while to be served, but the wait was worth it. All the items were well prepared and very very tasty. We finished with Kulfi (awesome). Our sincere thanks and compliments to the Chef. We would also like to thank the Manager Fahad and our hard working, extremely pleasant and smiling hostess, Surakshya. The restaurant use to be Way Back Burger before it shut down. I was passing by on Midway when i came across BK Khan BBQ and couldn't wait to try this place out. First thing that stood out for me is the décor, absolutely amazing what they have done to this place. From cozy lights to leather chairs, glass top tables to glossy finished floors. The place is absolutely a go to for ambiance especially if you are out on a date. I came for lunch and the prices on average were below 10 dollars. I tried one Chicken dish and one Kebab and to my surprise the food was not spicy at all which was a big plus for me. The service was great, they were nice to give me a couple of desserts to try. They have a party hall, kids play area, and a prayer room which is fantastic for families. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in trying out a new restaurant. read more

Overall this is a great restaurant that serves tasty food with Mediterranean/southern Asian cuisine and outstanding service. We haven't eaten this category of food before at other restaurants so it was a pleasant surprise. Based on a discussion with our waiter, we ordered chicken Bihari kabob (we asked for less spicy) , beef Bihari kabob, and butter naan. On the side, there were 2 yogurt liquids (one more spicy than the other). They offered a free side of chickpea soup. The food was tasty and the meats were tender. For dessert, we enjoyed the halwa (a sweet orange colored dessert that is a hard to describe) and kulfi (like vanilla ice cream). The food, the temperature of the restaurant and the service were horrible. It was a $30 buffet (not including drinks) with cold, dried out and flavorless food. We were seated the back room where the temperature inside was 80 degrees. We had two servers that were assigned to our tables. One was upset that we asked her to keep getting us drinks. She actually got visibly upset, threw up her arms and asked this to be the final time we ask for drinks because she didn't want to keep going back and forth. We all were shocked by this attitude, but stayed quiet. The other server came up to us in the middle of the meal and kept asking us to pay for our drinks. They didn't have a few items in the menu. But we ordered, paid, and sat down. Then, it was an over 45 minute wait for our food. This is a grill place. So if I'm waiting THAT long for food, it better be hot. WRONG. The food was burnt AND cold. Chicken tikka was cold and dry. Lamb chops had amazing flavor, but it was cold. Bihari was burnt, dry, and extremely chewy (like beef jerky). The halwa Puri was probably the only thing that was remotely warm. What set me off was the fact that (who I think was) the manager came to our table and asked if we were waiting around for something else, as if he wanted us to clear the table. No, homie. I waited 45 minutes for cold, burnt food. So if I want to sit there and calmly drink my lassi, I will do so. Had he not come to our table seeming impatient with US, I wouldn't have left a review at all. Heck, we would have left if we didn't already pay. I'd give the food a 3.5 at best. We went as a family of 11 last noght on a recommendation. Plenty of parking no issue there. We had made a reservation in advance. On arrival it was obvious there was no empty tables to accommodate us. Felt like the inside temperature was rather warm and humid. After waiting a few minutes we we given a table in a banquet area set up for a baby shower. It was extremely warm inside. We decided after a few minutes to ask to be reseated in the main area where it would be cooler we thought. We were moved to the main area to be seated and it was not cool. The table was a plastic garden picnic table which was narrow and not going to be able to accommodate enough food for what we hd ordered. Any way we persevered and ordered food. Most of the food arrived together and was crammed on the table. No elbow room. Food tasted ok but was not an enjoyable occasion in the crammed hot restaurant. After waiting about an hour and a half, we were finally seated inside albeit right next to the busy door. We were surprised to find out that we had to order at the front. Ordering our food took twenty minutes because they had no system to split up our three parties' orders. They took another hour and a half to bring out our orders, which was missing items. The kabab flavors were good, but each one was extremely dry (beef and chicken). The pricing seemed reasonable until they brought out our food. The portion sizes are very small. We will not be back. Save your money and your time. The service was extremely poor, and they did not offer any explanation as to why the food took so long. If I could give this place a 0 star I would, possibly one of the worst service I've ever experienced, we had to wait almost 2 hours to be seated first of all and you would expect to have clean tables our tables looked like someone shat all over it with all sorts of stains. Nice experience. Grill items were all very fresh and flavorful. The chutney was super spicy - we loved it! This is a very child friendly restaurant. They have a separate kids area and give all little ones a little gift bag with a toy, crayons, and coloring pages. More restaurants should do this!! There was a little glitch in getting us seated but the owner himself came and apologized. He was very kind and committed to making sure we had a great experience.
