I ordered the spicy half chicken with creamy corn, white cheddar mac & cheese, biscuit, Mike's sauce and ranch. I also tried the Mike's sandwich with fries and added cheese, plus the 4-piece spicy chicken tenders with fries, mac & cheese, biscuit and Mike's Buffalo sauce. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful inside, and I really liked that it was served fresh and hot. They cook the chicken to order, so it took around 25 minutes for our food to be ready. Honestly, I don't mind waiting a little when the chicken is freshly cooked. The creamy corn and white cheddar mac & cheese were good, and the biscuit was fresh. I also liked the sauces, especially Mike's sauce. The tenders were crispy without being overly greasy. The only things I think they could improve are the fries, which were a little soggy, and the fountain drinks are quite expensive for a casual chicken place. Overall, Mike's Chicken is definitely a good halal option around Plano/Richardson. Fresh, crispy and flavorful chicken, with a good variety of sides and sauces.

Good tasting chicken and the sides are OK too. I highly recommend this place wonderful atmosphere.read more

Hot Hong Kong milk tea and French toast are my favorite breakfast items and that's exactly what I got. If I were in Hong Kong, I would get them in the morning. But I wouldn't mind having them any time of the day! The milk tea was great. I liked the aromatic, bold black tea. It was fairly creamy and smooth. The French toast was delicious also. Fried golden brown, it was toasty on the outside, and nutty, buttery (with peanut butter filling) on the inside. I liked the condensed milk drizzled on top, instead of syrup, which I normally use at home. They also have other Hong Kong style dishes, like the baked cutlet pork chop with rice, fish fillet in creamy white sauce, and iconic street foods like curry fish balls, radish, and pork rinds (yummy!) This place is fully decorated with so many Hong Kong street items, like the big wall pictures of busy, beautiful city views, signs of major streets, shop signs, etc. If you're not from Hong Kong, they may not mean too much to you. It was packed with flavor, with plenty of chicken and some shrimp mixed in. The portion size was also great. I easily ate off of it at least four times!
