This place smells amazing right when you walk in the door. Wood smoked meats for sure. You will not leave here hungry. Staff is friendly, the place is clean. The meats are amazing!!

I ordered the Çağ Kebab Döner, which was advertised as 4 skewers, but what I received looks like only 2. I paid $31 and the portion was extremely disappointing. It also looked nothing like the photo on the menu. I feel misled and won't be ordering from here again unless this is corrected.

AMAZING FIRST TIME EXPERIENCE!! Thank you to Berat for taking care of us and giving such a wonderful service for our first time here! He gave us awesome recommendations, and everything tasted great. We came Sunday night, and the place was busy! Even though the place was filled, we got our food quickly. For appetizers, we got grape leaves and lentil soup. They also give free bread, Bostani salad, and veggie salad. The lentil soup was so hearty and a great start to our meal! For entree, we got 1.5 portion of Beef Iskender. This was the 1st time we tried this, and we were BLOWN AWAY!! Wow, it was a delightful experience of flavors and textures. Lastly, we got their baklava for dessert. We were given as much Turkish tea as we needed as well. Their baklava has been the best I've had so far all over DFW! All throughout our meal, Berat and the owner kept checking up on us! Service here is top quality and very clean establishment. I highly recommend, and I will be back soon to try other dishes!

Came here last night, for a Valentines dinner date, glad a made reservations in advanced because it was a packed house, we got there a bit early, and they still managed to accommodate, as we were lead to our table, the waiter also gave my wife a beautiful long stemmed rose, this was our first time at this place, and I had very high expectations because most of the reviews were really good, let me through the chase and I will explain, it is very good hence the 5 stars. To start out with I let the wife order to my fear because she tends to order unusual stuff, but we began with the Atom, a thick yogurt dish with a chili pepper oil, the cool part is they also bring you some of their delicious fresh baked bread, a cabbage salad/Slaw with a sweet sauce very good, they also brought us a side dish of some tomato spread, also went well with the rest of the appetizers, they were all amazing. Then we had our main dishes, the wife had a dish with shredded beef in a tomato based sauce with lots of yogurt, it was good she said, but the star if the night was my Kag kebap made with lamb meat, I was very weary of eating lamb, had a bad experience at another place, but let me tell you the lamb here is Super delicious and to be honest I stopped the waiter to ask him what meat it was he said it was in fact Lamb, he explained the lamb goes through a seasoning and marinating process that takes days to perfect, it was really that delicious and good, next time I come in I will just order the lamb skewers with bread and the hot yogurt sauce yum. And to close out the night the wife had the Turkish tea, and I had the Turkish coffee with a piece of Baklava, which was very tasty and not overly sweet, it was a perfect night at a great place. So if you do end up visiting Prime Doner, during a special holiday or event make a reservation because the lines get big. What a wonderful find.

Been here so many times already. Paca corbasi is solid and always hits. Cag kebap is really good, cooked right. Lahmacun is straight up amazing. Cold brewed tea is a nice touch. Hot bread coming out of the oven, pide and lavash fresh every time. Easy place to keep coming back to.

So glad to see a Turkish restaurant with high quality opened in Plano! We went here for lunch, first were served with complimentary salad a delicious dip with homemade fluffy bread! We ordered cag kabob and we were asked how we like it and it was made to perfection! (We asked for medium) They have the best stuffed grape leaves I had in Dallas area. The kibe was made to order fresh. And finally nice cup of Turkish coffee with a custard pastry was a Devine ending to our lunch! What a great hospitality! Amazing experience! I may go back tomorrow!

We went to this place for brunch today with friends. The ambience is great and service is excellent. Price is reasonable. What's noteworthy about their food is the bread they serve first. It's out of this world. The other items are pretty good especially the falafel and the kibbeh

We had lunch here other day. I have nothing but good things to say about this place, starting with an excellent service to delicious food. This restaurant is a must try for all the foodies. The ambience is also awesome and very welcoming.

The sauces are amazing - tzatziki, hummus, baba ghanoush, and more. I personally love the chicken cooked in a yogurt sauce, roasted cauliflower, and chickpea moussaka as my top standouts, but truly there are too many delicious things to name. I love how many chicken options there are as someone who isn't crazy about beef or pork. There is also falafel and plenty of beans for your vegan/ vegetarian friends. There were markers for allergies / preferences on the labels, but I didn't attend too closely as I don't have dietary restrictions. They have tasty rice pudding topped with pistachios and fresh fruit as something sweet to pair with your meal. I enjoy the lentil soup for dipping pita bread in. All you can eat buffets are always the best for getting to try everything and making everyone in your party happy. It's a bit on the expensive side (around $25 per person before tip), but it's totally worth it for special occasions. Within the last year they've redone the seating inside, but the food quality has stood the test of time!

I've seen the price go from: $15, $18, $20, to $25... TAX AND CARD FEES HAVE AWLAYS BEEN INCLUDED. Well, today.... The young man told me it was $25 plus tax. So he said it was over $84 for three people. I complained a little to him about it and went on, THEN my wife heard the lady next to my male cashier charge someone the $25 flat with no tax!!!! I of course went and asked her WHY???? She said because the other guy paid with cash.... There is not tax!!!! I said you mean a credit card fee right?? She said NO.... If you pay cash there is no tax!!!!! I'd like the Great State of Texas to look into this one. I bet the comptroller would like to know about this!!! TBH, I really don't think the other guy probably even paid cash. It felt like a hate on whitey move to me. THIS PLACE IS SHADY.

I came here with family to celebrate a birthday and they more than delivered. The ambiance was nice, not too loud and with a classy look. The staff was very helpful and attentive. They came and checked on us multiple times. We did family style, and honestly that was probs my the best choice because there was too much goodness on the menu. I had some experience but also leaned on the staff for guidance. I would say my top three personally were the: lamb kebabs, Iraqi Quizi and the Lehmajuhn(flatbread pizza) The Quizi might have been the best part of the meal and a whole party in my mouth. I'm also a sucker for good hummus & baba ganoush and I was just about ready to lick the bowl clean. Overall, there was nothing I can mark down about my visit here. 10/10 I would recommend to anyone in the area

Good food, great service, so-so desserts - in a nutshell…read more Everything we ordered, in terms of food, was delicious. I always love a good dip platter and this did not disappoint. I have only had Ezme at one other place, and this was definitely better. I always love baba ganoush and this was so good, especially with the warm bread. The family meal for 4 was plenty of food. All the meats, including the chicken items because a lot of time those are over cooked. The lamb tikka, and sheeh tawook were my favorites, but I did enjoy them all. The desserts were a miss for us over all. The ice cream was on the icy side and not as creamy, kunafa was ok but I've had better. The baklava was like any baklava you can get, so not bad. It is slightly pricey but worth it in my opinion. Nice place that can accommodate larger parties, but also has some booths for intimate date night. The meat is also halal so a great option for anyone that needs that.

The music is nice and you can tell they really focus on creating a beautiful Mediterranean experience. The food is completely incredible and very unique. This is not your average Greek pita place. This is a restaurant that could easily be in Turkey for some European country. We started with the Mezza platter ( $29) - which included 6 different dips. It's pricey for an appetizer, but it is definitely worth it because it's so unique and flavorful. It was probably my favorite thing that we ate. Everything felt just a little bit overpriced for what it is. My baseline comparison is Hillstones and R&D, and this is definitely Hillstone's pricing, but not the same experience overall. My wife and I shared the lamb shank and the falafel platter and also had a side of cauliflower (which was incredible). My 3 year old had the kids item which was $18!?. it was all very very good. My wife and I had a glass of wine and the average price was $18. They also had no descriptions of what style of wine it was e.g. Cabernet Sauvignon. When I asked the server, he just recommended the Caymus. The service was transactional and something you would get at most fast casual restaurants. I get that a lot of the servers are not professional servers. For the mezze platter, it would've been helpful to have an explanation of what was on it. Basically they brought the food. They took our order and that was it. Parents: they have one kids meal which included four chicken kebabs and a side of either rice or fries ($18). The price felt very steep for a kids meal. I probably would rather have had half the portion size for half the price.

Nothing more than a little squeeze of lemon over it and you could have brought me a dozen more. But we had to save room for our mains. I chose the gyros salad and my wife the baked haddock with Greek potatoes and string beans. Both dishes were perfect. Not too fancy and just what the doctor ordered.
