Great service and good food. We got the $169 combo and it was good but definitely not worth that much. I would recommend getting the ribs for $53 and some cold noodles on the side instead of the combo. Their cold noodles were really good and the ribs a la carte were a better deal for the buck. Service was outstanding and if you get the soju then be prepared to be impressed! They bring it out ICE cold and it was the best thing to put in your mouth after a good bite of food. I also heard their other entrees are very good. Will have to go back to try these. Highly recommend this place.

It was so good I came back a week later with my family for mother's day! They have 2 large tables but otherwise there are booths (could probably fit 6) and table tops for 4. Service is so nice and they also cook most of the meat for you! The side dishes are really good and they also cycle through so it may not always be the same dish but it will be the same great quality. We especially enjoyed the fresh kimchi, green beans, cucumbers, pickled radish, and the salad. For the meat sets, it definitely doesn't look like much as a list but once you start eating? Oh man, both times I've gone we ended up with to go boxes because we were so full! This is also without eating with rice! The cuts are very good but I recommend eating with kimchi or the salad to cut the fat. Overall a must try! The pork combo and the beef and pork combo for BBQ were well worth it!

Good for family and big groups! There's plenty of seating and it's easy to get a table. They have set menus you can order from or order a la carte. We got one of the set menus and it came with soo many sides and was Plenty of food for 2 to 3 people. I really enjoyed the beef cuts but thought the pork cuts were just okay in the set. We also ordered side cold noodles which was also good to have with the meat. The waitress comes and grills the meat for you here but you do have to keep an eye on it as they can get busy and forget to come back often. All the sides were pretty good and I was stuffed by the end of it all.

Salad, Soju, and the cutest water!

Had a delicious meal here tonight and will definitely be returning! This is not an All You Can Eat place, but they have some real positives when I compare to some of the AYCE Korean BBQ places around here - firstly, I didn't have to cook my own meat! And secondly, I didn't leave feeling stuffed to the brim! Three of us went and shared the A1 combo which is 4 different beef options, that were all very good. It came with a salad and a bunch of different small side dishes including kimchi, a soup, glass noodles, cheesy corn, an egg dish, a spicy radish/seaweed dish, and more. For the three of us I think this was just the right amount of food! For two, we would have definitely had leftovers. We also ordered the tteokbokki, and a few flavors of Soju (strawberry, peach, and apple mango - apple mango was definitely the best!)

Pretty good quality Korean BBQ and good service too! We got one of the BBQ sets that had beef and a few different cuts of pork and ordered the cold noodles separately and one other dish separately. The quality of the beef was fantastic and really tender. The different cuts of pork were good but pretty comparable to the quality at other places. I thought that the different banchan side dishes were pretty good too and had a large variety. They grilled the meats for us here which was great.

Uncooked pork, terrible cutting, rushed us to finish when we literally couldn't even eat the meat yet

I really don't want to be this person - but our experience here was probably going to be our last. We were frequent regulars of Ggui Ggui and when this place changed management we decided to check them out. We walked in fairly late (1 hr before closing) I asked if we could still get seated and they said yes. Not even 1 page turn into our menu on deciding if we wanted something quick or kbbq, our server rushes over and she asked us what we were planning to do and said kbbq will be the best option in terms of benefit and that while we were still deciding she will just heat up the grill. I asked for literally one more minute to see everything and she said "its ok sweetie i'll take care of you just get the combo." And before we could say anything else she turned on the grill and spilled my drink everywhere. We already felt bad for coming late so we just hesitated and agreed. When she brought out the meats she also spilled our sauces on the table and just turned the heat really high and cooked our pork very poorly. It wasn't even partially cooked before she started cutting it so it flung into our banchan. Raw pork. At this point I could tell she was a little drunk because she asked us if it was our first time here like 3 times and when she changed our grill, some of our pork belly flipped into the grill water well. :/ She said our food was good to eat when it was very clear our pork was still pink. (Pic attached) We asked for napkins so many times and she just blew us over to drink with the booth next to us. This all happened in a span of like 5-10 minutes bc "i'm going to give you fast service because you came so late.", I understand that we came late but this is no way to treat customers that you willingly seated. If you didn't want us to dine in we would've been completely fine with it and found another place that could accommodate. Eventually she has a younger server, Eureka(?), to cook the rest of our food and it was a way calmer, less hostile experience. She made our $85 dollar experience feel like one. Brought us napkins, packed our food togo, etc. I wish we had her from the very beginning. Towards the end of our meal, she brought us out the check and our previous server came over to give us "massages" so we could quickly pay, not realizing we already did. She started coughing into our grill and took my plate away before I could finish so we just took that as a cue to leave. I just hate that our experience was tainted as she seemed like a genuinely nice person, but getting belligerently drunk, rushing us, making other people do your side work AND making other people serve your initial table just isn't right. I hope they take this as constructive criticism and implement better training for staff and maybe close the kitchen earlier since the staff has already checked out at 10 lol. I don't think I will be back and i'm not telling you to stay away, because the food was genuinely good. Just wish we had a better experience.

If you're looking for amazing Korean BBQ, Ham Ji Bak is hands-down one of the best spots around. The quality of the meat is honestly next-level--super tender, flavorful, and perfectly marinated. You can really taste how fresh and high-quality the cuts are, whether it's pork belly, short ribs, or anything else on the menu. But what really sets this place apart is the banchan (side dishes). Most places give you a few basics, but here they give you a full spread--and every single one is delicious. From crispy kimchi to fluffy steamed egg and pickled radish, everything tastes homemade and they keep refilling them without even having to ask. The vibe is casual and fun, and the service is super friendly and fast. Whether you're going with a group of friends or just want a good meal, it's a great place to kick back, eat well, and not worry about breaking the bank. The prices are surprisingly reasonable for how much food and quality you're getting.

Ham Ji Bak is famous for its pork ribs in LA, so I often went there to have ribs. When I was on a business trip to Dallas and wanted to eat Korean food, I came to Korean Mall - Furneaux Creek Village Shopping Center in Carrollton, which is in Koreatown, and was wondering what to eat, and when I saw Ham Ji Bak and went inside without thinking any further. It was so cold on the day I visited that l ordered galbitang and spicy stir-fried squid as a side. Honestly, the food wasn't as good as I used to eat in LA. However, the server was really friendly and like family, almost like an aunt, and she was really kind and brought the side dishes right away when they were running low, so I was able to finish my meal with 100% satisfaction. The taste of the food was a bit disappointing, but the customer service was top notch.

Before the main event, we got the seafood & green onion pancake. Crispy on the outside and reasonably chewy interior. Good amount of seafood; in particular, the oyster stood out. It was also a nice portion that was ideal for sharing. I opted for the seafood soondubu. Everything, from the banchan to the specific side dishes served with the soondubu, came out not too long after ordering. I got it at spice level three which I thought offered the right amount of kick without being too overwhelming (I also like to think I have a pretty strong spice tolerance). It had a good variety of seafood; namely, the shrimp and oyster. I'm not the biggest fan of clams but they were definitely still tasty. The tofu was soft and silky. The yellow croaker and rice were great supplements to the dish. The rice perfectly absorbed the broth. The croaker added a nice crunchy break from everything. The banchan was pretty standard in my opinion - still, a great complement to the soondubu. Last but not least - service was attentive and quick. I will definitely be coming back at some point!

The restaurant had plenty of space, but service was still super fast and efficient anyway, which I loved. What I love about Chodang is that the food is stellar and such good PORTIONS. Knowing this, I still opted to order a Combo Special because the thought of having leftovers for the next day sounded great to me. I ordered the Kimchi Tofu Soup with Beef Bulgogi, and it was delicious. I usually order my soups at the Spicy level, which I would say has a kick and flavor but never leaves me panting for air or water. As someone who likes spice, I wouldn't say it's very spicy, but definitely flavorful. Beef Bulgogi is one of my favorite dishes, and this place's version does not disappoint. The meat is tender and has a good balance of sweet and salty. My friends also ordered Combo Specials with a Tofu soup and the Korean bbq ribs, and Spicy Pork Bulgogi. One of these friends opted for the medium spice level, which I would say is a safe choice for everyone, especially if you're worried about something being too spicy. All soups come with Korean side dishes, a whole grilled yellow croaker fish (delicious but lots of bones), and a hot stone bowl of rice. Nothing missed!
