Take out box: pakoras, rice, naan, butter chicken, and mutter (pea) paneer

Being Indian, I am a bit particular with my Indian spots and I love that are so many different ones to try here in DFW. I have only ever gotten take out from here, but love that they're so close to where I live which makes it easy for me when I crave a little taste of home! The restaurant is clean inside, and servers have always been friendly when I pick up my food. They have a lunch buffet daily that I want to try but haven't gotten around to yet. The pricing is different during the weekdays and weekends. That being said, the food that they provide is always good. I've had their pakoras, aloo (potato) and peas dish, mutter (peas) paneer as well as their samosas, tandoori chicken, chicken tikka and butter chicken. All of the flavors are just right, not too spicy but also not so bland that they don't taste good. I recommend you checking them out if you are looking for a solid Indian restaurant in the Addison/Richardson area. I'll definitely keep going back!

Enjoyed my vegetarians options. Fresh, delicious, with high quality ingredients. From appetizer to the desserts it was so tasty and satisfying. Authentic option that will satisfy the pickiest Indian food connoisseurs. Attentive staff and relaxing ambience.

Excellent food and service. The mix grill is my kids favorite. Naan and curries are so good.

Came here during lunch and tried out the lunch buffet. I was quickly seated and directed to the food. Overall there was a good split of vegetarian and meat options. Unfortunately the flavor was not there. The potato in the Aloo Mattar was not cooked through. I found the Saag Paneer to be bland. The grilled dishes seemed like they'd been sitting for a while. Rogan Josh which is usually made with lamb was made with chicken didn't live up to what the dish is and fell flat. The service was good, but the food was disappointing. Overall, it'd be better to try a different spot.

Fantastic food for all spice levels. If you are unsure what to order, ask, the staff are eager to share their knowledge about the food. It can get a little loud in the main dining room, but this is still a good place for groups. If you have a large group, call ahead and get the back dining room for a better experience.

Great food! One of the best Indian restaurants in north Dallas. Want to go for their lunch buffet soon.

Good food but insanely expensive. There are equally as good Indian restaurants for 1/2 the price.

There is a bar lunch dining special and there is also a special area where you can sit down in the main dining area. He was able to provide us with such attention to detail on the menu and on what the whole atmosphere of the restaurant had to offer the food was phenomenal. Everything had flavor when it came to the yellowtail Hamachi. We also had the steak tartare which was phenomenal with the quail egg on top. Everything had flavor that I could not get over when I say the flavor was there and it was never missing. It was never missing. I have never walked into an atmosphere, that was so vibrant and welcoming, this restaurant definitely blew away my partner, and I because we were able to see the different history that they were to show from dates back to 1940s 1950s which is really cool to be able to walk into a restaurant and actually feel like you went back in time and actually experience seafood cuisine the way it should be experienced. It would definitely recommend this place for somebody who has never actually experienced good genuine oysters, two different kinds one from Canada and the other from I forget which coast but they were both phenomenal. Definitely going to come back and bring my mom and my family.

Our waiter ( guy with braids) was extremely helpful, friendly, and informative. ) I wanted a kir royale ( they couldn't make because they didn't have chambord). However, he and manager came to the table to offer options. I tried a French 76. We ordered calamari which was light, crisp, and fresh. It was delicious and prepared perfectly. I ordered the stuffed flounder ( substituted red fish for flounder) with the Ponchatrain sauce ( shrimp and crabmeat in creamy sauce) which was delicious. I kept the potatoes with peppers ( prepared beautifully ) however, I will try another potato dish that I don't think will compete or overpower the fish. The fish was hot, flaky, light and delicious. They also serve a dish of garlicky, buttery dish of bread and hush puppies as an appetizer.Loved the bread dish. The service, food, ambience are well worth the drive. I can't wait to go back to try other dishes that they offer. We were too full to order dessert. Maybe I'll get one on my next visit.

The lobster tail was a bit tough and overcooked, which is a waste. Mussels were good too. Garlic noodles were not our favorite. Unfortunately, the service was questionable. Our server had difficulty communicating in English, which led to a costly misunderstanding. When we ordered crab, she never asked what type of crab we wanted and instead assumed king crab, which is significantly more expensive than other options. As a result, our bill was much higher than expected. To make matters worse, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill without it being mentioned to us beforehand. While restaurants may choose to add gratuity in certain situations, customers should be clearly informed so there are no surprises. My advice: enjoy the food, but be very specific when ordering. Confirm exactly what type of crab you're getting, verify the pricing, and check your bill carefully. Also remember that gratuity should be clearly communicated and not assumed. Better communication would have made this a much better overall experience.I'd rate it 2.5 out of 5 stars. Great food, but the service and communication issues took away from the experience.
