Mackerel fry
Leslie V.

I've had food catered to my house and church events from this place ever since they opened. They've never failed me as their Kerala food authenticity is very high. We even go there, grab a curry, or thoran, on a given day my wife was unable to cook . However, having a 'dine in' there was not on my bucket list. The ambience is not like that of a regular restaurant. So many people lining up to pick up food and eating in a crowded area is not my cup of tea. However, even though the ambience remains the same, the food 'outsmarted' my other pet peeves. We had a vegetarian meal and a non- vegetarian meal along with a special Mackerel fry and Indian tea. All together, $40.00 for Sunday brunch for two people. This is typical 'Kerala' food. And we enjoyed it...

The addition is done with better flow to showcase the delicious food. The parking lot is fixed and so much better. Went again and had a great meal! I love this place even more now!

I was sad to see that Kerala Kitchen had closed (maybe-not sure what happened) but very happy when I heard that Palm India also served Kerala food. Hooray! Reasonable prices and good portions (for most items) the Moru curry was delicious- but a bit too much ginger- The samosa was not what I expected- thin, tiny and not very tasty- the beef was salty. The chicken curry was spicy- I will ask for a medium spice level next time. I want to try the kerala meal next time.

Ask the Community - Palm India Restaurant

Does the biryani have nuts in it? Or can it be made without nuts if so?

No nuts. But always make sure with them. We had catered veg biryani and mutton biryani. I don't…

Great spice level and flavorful without being super spicy. My favorite dish. 10/10 Beef Bihari: Pasty, spicy, really yummy. Perfect with naan and raita. Smoky and very flavorful. 10/10 Chicken Tikka (leg): Personally, I don't care for chicken tikka but this was great for what it is. Juicy, flavorful and smoky, with a good sized portion of chicken. 8/10 Chicken Makhni: Really good. The kiddo loved it, not spicy, and I liked it as well. Went perfectly with naan. Boneless and very kid friendly. 8/10 Naan: authentic Pakistani naan was so soft and flufy. 10/10 Mango Lassi: Kid and mama approved. Yummy and not overly sweet, just the perfect flavor. 9/10 Falooda: I don't care for it but it was good for what it was. 8/10 Total was $90 with tip. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Someone checked in periodically to make sure we were good. It was moderately busy on a weeknight. Clientele was mostly Pakistani. All food is halal.

Some real good authentic Bangla food. We got, the weekend special of Kachori and Aloo Tarkari,…read moreChicken Kathi rolls, Mutton Biriyani and assorted sweets. Food was fresh with distinct flavors. The chicken in the kathi rolls was moist and the veggie filling of shredded carrot, cucumber, onions and bell pepper raised the flavor to a different level. The Aloo Tarkari was simple and had the distinct flavor of Panch-Porun (5 spices) that is essential ingredient of Bangla cuisine. 2 of the 5 kachori went in the refrigerator along with nearly all of the biriyani. Tasted the Biriyani and know that we are in for some good treat in the evening. The sweets were just another delight! Fresh, and a good assorted collection. The sweets were not too sugary or syruppy like you get at other Indian Sweet Shops. For $40 we have enough food for 3 meals. Next time we will be careful when we order! :-)
