Came here originally because I wanted to try their buffet, but ordered from the menu instead bc they only offered buffet at certain times. Wasn't a big deal anyways because what we ordered was soo good. I ordered chicken tikka masala, rice, paani puri, and garlic naan. The garlic naan was perfection, crispy doughy and full of flavor! Soo good, especially dipped in the curry. However I have gotten it for takeout before too and it didn't taste as flavorful. The chicken tikka masala had great flavors too but it would be nice if the chicken chunks were a bit smaller. The paani puri was really tasty, it was my first time trying it! It was very flavorful and full of spices. The meal I had here was soo delicious, I'll definitely be returning. The owner is very nice too. The interior looks a bit dated but I don't mind it when the food is good. I highly recommend trying the food here! read more

We went in a large group for lunch buffet. The owner was friendly and welcoming. The service was attentive. I liked the South Indian breakfast food! I used to be a regular here when I lived in the area. I loved coming here so much! The food was amazing per usual. We ordered a raga dosa, paani puri, Gulaab Jaamon, and garlic naan. Everything was so delicious and came out fresh. The service was slow since there were only 2 people working. It was definitely worth the wait though! Loved it! Family went and got several items, first time introducing my kids to Indian cuisine. Chicken 65 app was a hit with the kids. And the bread sampler, and Samosas. Chicken Korma, Saag, and Malai Kofta were all also wonderful. Our server asked for spice level - we said mild, since we are Americans without real taste for spice. Kids still complained a bit about spice but we taught them about the Mango lassi and that helped them work through it and they said they enjoyed them. Will be back and checking out more dishes! Tried this place based on reviews on a Friday night. We left very satisfied and happy that we gave it a try. We were welcomed in by a staff of 3 tonight and seated quickly. Meals were delivered to the table in reasonable time and all of the foods were hot. For drinks we only ordered the mango lassi which was great and recommend trying. For apps and meals, we ordered an array of items. Our favorites for the evening were Gobi Manchurian, Paneer Butter Masala, Uttapom, and dosa. The sambhar and chutneys that accompanied some of the items were also delicious. The restaurant was clean and felt they do a good job maintaining the premises. We wanted dosas and came on a Saturday night around 8pm. The waiters were so welcoming and attentive. They checked on us like five or six times throughout our meal. We ordered off the menu (no buffet). I love how all of the gluten free and vegan items are clearly labeled. About 1/2 of the menu is GF which I loved. We got a rava masala and a Mysore masala dosa. I've been coming here for almost 10 years and the food is always amazing. The variety changes daily and the complexity is always on point. Everything is fresh and well made. The staff are always fantastic, as well. They specialize in Southern Indian cuisine and that is hard to find in Dallas area. I am so spoiled by their good food that I have a hard time eating at other places. Their sambar is amazing and they have the best carrot halva I've ever had. This place is in my top favorite places to eat and just writing this makes me want to eat it again. The naan and dosa are always great and I love the music as well. Of all the Indian restaurants in the north Dallas area I have been to, this one definitely ranks in my top 3 for its exceptional service and amazing food. They have a huge menu with helpful labels for what is vegan and gluten free, and things can be customized to be Jain. I ordered the pindi choley (chickpeas in a tomato sauce curry) which was phenomenal and filling (even had some leftover for half another meal), and the mango pudding which was syrupy and satisfied my sweet tooth. We did the buffet ($12.99 per person on weekends). I have no idea what everything was but all the dishes were absolutely delicious. We went back for seconds, even after a full plate the first time. The topper for me and what pushed me to five stars was the fresh, hot naan bread brought to our table. What a disappointment arrived at noon, there was only 3 parties dining but most dishes empty and food that was out was cold as if the buffet trays had no heating to them. Empty dishes came out and slow to refill. Naan came to table at the end of the meal. What we did try was tasty enough but looking for a spicy curry. By the time we left there was about 4 more parties and the grumbling about waiting on the food became stressful. No staff wearing masks, but neither were most customers. I had a craving for Indian food and came across Curry Bliss due to its rave reviews and closeness to where I was. The price seemed very reasonable for the food you got as well. I called about their lunch box deal and they were so friendly about what was in it for the day. The paneer butter masala was the one I was going to order individually anyways, and it was luckily in the lunch box that day, so I decided to go with the deal. I've been wanting to try paani puri for a while since I've watched Indian street food videos on YouTube, and this place had it! My total came out to $17 and I definitely had leftovers for two days. The lunch box comes with two featured curries, rice or vegetable pilaf, butter naan, and a dessert. My lunch box had paneer butter masala and daal fry. The butter masala was so delicious and addicting. It is creamy, slightly sweet, buttery, and has a tomato essence to it. It is thick and gravy like. Instead of chicken, it uses paneer. I wish I had a bigger container for it! The daal fry was good, but not my type of dish because I don't like beans, and I believe it's made of lentils. The flavor is good though, it just wasn't for me. The butter naan is included and is a huge, generous portion. Two huge slabs of it. Soft, chewy, delicious. I definitely recommend and would like to try their garlic naan in the future. I didn't like the dessert because the fritter was dry and a bit on the savory side. The paani puri was wonderful. The shell is like a thick chip that encases the variety of things inside. I believe he said there was potato, chaat masala, maybe lentils? The liquid in the middle you put inside the shells and you eat with one bite. I used a spoon to put it inside and put the entire ball in my mouth. It explodes in flavor in your mouth. It's acidic (tasted like citrus/lime), salty, and has many spices that really make the entire taste nothing like you've tried before. My anticipation for what this would taste like was not disappointed in the slightest. They were so nice when I did takeout. I asked about their lunch buffet on weekdays and it's such a great price. $11! I'll definitely come here for lunch sometime in the future. They are a very humble establishment and have such high quality for their food. I need a huge container of that paneer butter masala to have on hand always. Huge recommendation for Curry Bliss. I am by far anything from a vegetarian as I need my meats at times. But I was impressed with Curry Bliss and their buffet. We were tricked though, as we called in advance to see if they have chicken options for their buffet and they said yes. Once we got there, there was no chicken and it was an extra charge to order it to the table. Service: We were the first ones there, and the employees there were very friendly and helpful always checking up on us. Since it was a buffet during Covid-19 times, the staff served us the food instead of customers getting it themselves. I felt a lot more relieved that they were doing this. Food: Our buffet came with unlimited fresh and soft Naan and Masala Dosa's. Although the sambar was not as flavorful to eat with the dosa. The vegetarian options were okay, a lot of the food options were missing flavor and seasoning. It just was not sitting well for me. But the uppumavu was unique as I never tried it as a spicy version before. We ordered butter chicken on the side to eat with the Naan. But it was lacking some flavor as well. I love Indian food and they had some things on their menu that I've wanted to try since seeing them on different food travel shows like the Paani Puri and the Gulaab Jaamoon (brown spherical milk solids deep fried and soaked in honey syrup) sounds Update: the samosas were absolutely delicious. Three and half stars in my books. First things first, this review applies only to their buffet as I haven't ordered off the menu. Also, the restaurant serves only vegetarian food. We went in for lunch on a weekend and were greeted warmly and shown to our table. It was a good sized spread for $11.99(before tax) and as the buffet and I were both vegetarian, I got my money's worth! The buffet had South Indian, North Indian and Indo-Chinese dishes. They also got dosa and naan to our table. Now to the taste. I loved the Hakka noodles and gobi manchurian, the indo-Chinese options. They also had a legit, yummy raita, the yogurt sauce. Sadly, the other curries were mediocre. They also had a bad batch of coconut that day so both the coconut chutney and the kurma with coconut gravy tasted off. I know it can be hard to find the freshest of Indian ingredients here in the US so quality test of every batch of coconut is something that restaurants must do as it can make or break a dish. The service was good. The staff was friendly, efficient and the manager/owner was making it a point to talk to everyone. They could improve on refilling the buffet. My friend and I love Indian buffets and recently tried Curry Bliss. Interior was spacious and clean, and although they advertise as vegetarian there were two flavorful chicken options set apart from the vegetarian choices. Our server was great about topping off water and removing finished plates. She mentioned the free self serve chai which we enjoyed. One nice aspect was we were asked if we wanted dosa or naan (yes to both!) which came out hot and fresh. The owner Sam checked in with us and was warm and welcoming. Went for the lunch buffet on a Saturday. They didn't replace any of the dishes that had run out. There were several buffet trays that were empty or sitting out so long they had dried out. The rice was dry. Flavors were ok but the food had obviously been sitting out for hours. When we went in we were the only one but 4 other groups came on after us and there wasn't enough food in the buffet for all of them. It was $41 for a bad experience. I have ordered take out from this place twice. First time was as a part of discovery and second one was a mistake. We ordered north Indian dishes both times but I am really hoping that south Indian is there thing. because whatever we had was a disgrace. Food is very bad. I ordered paneer tikka masala, garlic naan, gobi manchurian and veg pulav . Paneer tikka had nothing. Probably an America who has never tasted Indian food will prepare better than what they serve. Please google how to make paneer tikkas, there are great recipes out there to help you out. Manchurian, oh boy where to start. Clearly they buy a sauce that is usually served with spring rolls in Thai restaurants from store. And they just toss it with the pre fried gobis. Everything is bad. Everything tastes very bad. And finally the veg pulav. It was dark brown in color. Why was it dark brown in color? When is pulav dark brown? And I chose mild spiced, the food was so spicy that my ears started to hurt so bad with one bite. I threw away all the food, and it gusts me to toss out food and I paid about $50 for it. It's bad food, over priced and bad quality. Just awful. I have no idea how this place has this rating. It's awful. Every time I want to find a good Indian place, it's such a disappointment and shameful. read more
