Dec 2025 Dim Sum servings - The image features two menu signs at King Buffet, each with a photo and label for different dishes. The left sign shows beef honeycomb tripe, and the right sign displays pork steamed ribs. Below the signs, containers with lids are visible, likely holding ingredients or prepared food. The setting appears to be a buffet restaurant with a stainless steel display area.

Back for our annual Christmas Day lunch with dessert. Like so many other friends/families that want to get out for a meal and not have to prep/clean up themselves. Good nr. of customers as always. We got seating for two right away. Larger groups might have to wait awhile. New for us was the Dim Sum options see new photos.

Absolutely the best Chinese buffet I have eaten at in the Dallas area. They have a large selection of food to choose from Including your typical Chinese buffet Foods, American foods, an awesome assortment of sushi and California rolls and they even have a Mongolian Grill / hibachi. On top of having really awesome food they are extremely clean in my opinion compared to other Chinese buffets even with being extremely busy they maintain standards. With great food comes along lines or at least on the weekends anyways, So be prepared to wait for a little bit to be seated or do what we do and go early to beat the dinner rush. *Poor *Decent *Ok *Good *Great *Best *JLFoodie Certified Prices. Good Food. Great Service. Great Cleanliness. Great Consistency. Great Variety. Great Value. Great

SUSHIII - Six salmon nigiri sushi pieces are arranged on a white plate with a green rim. Each piece has a slice of salmon on top of rice. A small plastic container of soy sauce is placed in the center of the plate. The dark wooden table has some crumpled napkins and a red cup nearby, with a black electronic device in the background.

Service was fine, nothing amazing and nothing terrible. When we went back for a second plate around 8:00, they were already breaking down the buffet and putting food away. That was a letdown. No hot food was being restocked, and teppanyaki and hot pot were no longer options. The sushi selection was mostly empty too. For clarification, they don't close until 9:00. The food we did get tasted okay, but nothing stood out or made me want to rush back. On the bright side, the restaurant and restrooms were clean, so at least that part was solid. Overall, it felt less like an all you can eat experience and more like "a you should have gotten there an hour earlier experience." Perhaps my least favorite part of the evening was the relentless ringing of bellhop bells behind both the hot food and sushi counters. They clanged nonstop to summon servers, turning the entire dining experience into an 80s montage where the "Better Off Dead" paperboy keeps circling your table on his bike, dead-eyed, ringing his bell, demanding his two dollars. This is a very generous three stars, given with kindness and lowered expectations.

Service: 8/10 Our server was great and quick, beyond that it was up to me :). Selection: 7/10 Plenty of options for sushi, sashimi, and grilled options like gyoza, steak, batter fish etc...Also offers shabu shabu and dinner has snow crab legs!

Our waitress was very attentive from the beginning and offered enthusiastic recommendations. Our pork bone broth was delicious and we tried many kinds of meat and add ins, and they were great with sane portions. Didn't really feel like we missed out on anything by not buying the extra charge items and we both filled up quickly. There's little desserts at the sauce bar, and also a few things off the menu. We tried them all and found them neutral overall in flavor; nothing impressive, but still pleasant. The difficult thing about this place is the price. A few $ more than Seapot, but you also have to pay for broth, which can add up to $14 more PER broth, which is why bf and I only got one. So while I'd say this place was very good, Seapot is better value and would be my choice over this place. However, bf and I agreed that this place is definitely a better choice over Hai Di Lao.
