I enjoyed the service, the food was fresh and tasty, great value for your money, the food selection. The dining area was extremely clean. Go as early as you can so you get the food when it's freshly put out. Definitely a good place to bring the family to get your tummy's full! read more

I'd been wanting to try's buffet so we found this while shopping. It's pretty spacious. No line and no waiting on a Sunday . The food was containers were smoking but the food wasn't hot. The food and I didn't have as much flavor but I enjoyed my experience. I love the plastic glove option for the scoopers and plenty of dessert options. read more

Great small buffet. I love the food. Cheap but food is great and plenty. Service is superb. Nice place not feeling claustrophobic.

This is the best Chinese buffet in the DFW area. Our family always makes time to go even after we moved further away.

Good variety and splendid taste. Very friendly staff. Overall experience has always been great. We have made this our stop when we are in the area. Prices are reasonable as well. read more

This has become my families go to when we are craving buffets. The lunch is definitely cheaper but missing a lot of what they offer for dinner. So we do prefer dinner time for the more options but the pricing still isn't that bad! My little ones enjoy their chicken wings and noodles and of course a lot of there desserts read more

Highly recommend! My family go here weekly and they never disappoint! They always have a top notch sushi selection. Their meat selection is to die for as well! Highly recommend the gyozas. You get a humongous selection for about $20 a person. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. read more

Food is okay, but you can expect a bathroom trip soon after. They seem to have storage and rotation issues. Staff glares at customers, making the visit uncomfortable. I stopped going, tried again, and won't return anytime soon. Frisco has the same problems. I hope they get it straightened out as some staff are the nicest in the business. read more

The food was hot and plentiful. The flavor was good on most items but it is your typical buffet. The Mongolian grill area was just okay, the steak was horrible scraps with nothing edible. read more

Overall, it's a good buffet with the classic Chinese American food options. All food was kept at a good temp for both the hot and cold bars. The selection was small compared to other buffets in the area, but still delicious. Perfectly seasoned, not too salty. Fruit looked fresh. Each item was refilled every time I went to fill my plate. Great service from the moment you walk through the door. No wait, even for a holiday. Holiday and dinner price is $16.99 for adults. Waitress was very sweet and attentive to us and our toddler. Under 3 eats free I believe. We have a 1 year old. He even enjoyed trying all the food! The place is very clean and spacious. They have gloves at the buffet lines so your hands stay clean when scooping food! Would come back if we need a quick meal. But keep in mind, the selection a very small, but delicious. Did not try the sushi so can't comment on that. Dessert was good. read more

management can inprove food was great always come here my brother couldn't eat what he normally got so he didnt eat it made his stomach hurt . told manager and she said there was nothing she can do about it since he took a couple bites lol read more

The food was good with the exception of the crab legs I'm not sure what the issue was exactly but it seemed really mushy to me. The breads were over cooked mine was hard as a rock. How ever the food was good and cooked fresh. I didn't care for the ranch it tasted like mayo. The service was really good the lady was attentive. She was there every time we needed a refill or plates removed. The price was reasonable however we can right before dinner but it was still lunch but it was not explained to us that only lunch items were available to us unless we paid an additional feel of about 3 bucks. This wasn't an issue but it was not communicated to us it didn't make sense knowing we would have no way of knowing that. I think this place is food for families or friends getting together for a meal. I liked that we weren't rushed and the staff was friendly and had casual conversation with us. read more

Terrible food; oily, overcooked, not much selection, no sashimi or even baked fish. No Chinese people eating there.

Great Wall in Plano is my favorite Chinese buffet in the area. The food is always hot and plentiful and the cost is good for a Chinese buffet. I love their egg drop soup and spring rolls the best. Someone posted that they didn't have egg drop soup, which isn't true. I have been dining here for years and they always have egg drop soup and it's great. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Great Wall. read more

This was our first time coming here to this establishment in Plano, it was clean with friendly staff. The waitress was on point. The ambience is casual. They have great food variety but it could be a little bit hotter heat wise because some food is barely warm, and some stuff was hard and dry. The seafood soup was good as well as the hot wings. The salad bar has a lot of variety. They had good size crawfish that were actually good in size and flavorful. The grilled cheese salmon is a little crispy, I don't believe it needs the cheese but it's good. The baked catfish was seasoned with lemon pepper and had a good taste to it. I would recommend trying this restaurant out. It's really not as bad as some have reviewed it to be. We enjoyed it and weren't rushed. read more

Great Wall Buffet was a complete disappointment--the food was stale and not well-cooked, there was very little to choose from with not much to offer, and nothing seemed new or worth the cost; certainly not a buffet that I would return to. read more

They are very attentive. My server was Wendy and she did an excellent job with every need while dinning. The food was as usual, delicious. What can I say other than I haven't been disappointed ever for as many years I have been coming to this establishment. The atmosphere is pretty much casual. They have big screen TVs so you can watch soccer football basketball or baseball. No bar Incase you wondered. For the price you really get great cuisine choices. $15.99 buffet. This was the lunch price. Drinks $2.50 so about $20 per person. Bon apeti read more

This restaurant is not clean, the employees are very rude and disrespectful. And the food does not be fresh, if you pay for a soda during the buffet you can not switch flavors. Also they have a leek by the booth in there on the right side when you walk in, water leeks on the customers, they talk about there customers eating to much and they does not get your finished plate, when it's time to pay they ask for a tip and if you do not give a tip they starts talking bad about you. I do not recommend this Great Wall to eat at all what so ever. The manager is very rude and I will Never eat here again. You better off going to another Chinese Buffet where you treated right and it's worth you, your family, and friends while. Please do not go here, they cough & sneeze and doesn't cover their mouth and be right over there by the food. read more

Update 6/25: I am providing a brief update to this review. My last review was about a year ago. I recently went, and I am happy to say the lighting and decorations have been updated!! Great job. Overall, the food choices are still good. The prices are in line with everything these days and the restaurant is still clean. However, the desserts I tried were not good. The cakes were dry and the cookies didn't seem fresh. The ice cream was ok. The fruits also left a lot to be desired. read more

Good food served on a buffet (all you can eat) with good options of salad, Chinese soups, wonderful massive chicken wings, and some fish, shrimp, and sushi. Waitress was attentive at refilling beverages and clearing used plates. This restaurant is one of the few good buffets that remains open post Covid. On each serving line they provide disposable plastic gloves for covering your hand that you use to serve/scoop the food. While less than half of the customers used them, it was a nice option for me. Ambiance is casual, not fancy, but clean. read more

Just got in here for late lunch. Busy place for weekday lunch. There are three long separate food stations. Good quality food. Make sure you try not to miss their Michael's chicken. It's Korean style chicken. It's delicious. Also, their chicken with mushrooms, the best I've ever tasted. Clean separate Men and Women's bathroom. No changing table, need update. Serving staff are helpful and courteous. read more

This is definitely one of the very top Chinese buffets I've ever eaten at. I tried jalapeno chicken, barbecue on a stick, Michael's chicken wings. All three were absolutely delicious and perfectly tender. I would have ordered these ala carte at a restaurant they were so good. The entire restaurant is very nice and clean. They frequently clean the restrooms, as someone was already cleaning it less than an hour after they had opened. The servers, or attendants, are absolutely great. They are always watching over you to make sure you don't need anything at all. Better than the servers in regular restaurants that I've been to. This is probably the priceiest Chinese buffet that I have been to. It is priced appropriately, as you're getting a wide variety with a good amount of the selections being quite delicious. read more

family has been going here for years, micheals chicken is always mentioned every time we visit!

Met my friend here for lunch since we both were in the mood for an Asian type buffet. This is a large stand alone building and the parking lot is full! That's a good sign that the food is probably good. Just stepping into the seating area I knew we had chosen well! The varies smells of food cooking was crazy delicious. I was ready to jump into this buffet! Everything was clean, organized, and full of beautiful colors. I hate being wasteful when it comes to food. I was specific about what I initially placed on my plate. I know that my eyes have always been bigger then my stomach. Our waitress brought us lemons and water. We've started off well. The servers are hard workers, they kept our table free of dirty plates. Make sure to place your fork to the side for reuse. I started with the steamed catfish, shrimp ceviche, and a chunk of salmon. The entire lunch was spot on from start to finish. Super glad we came here. There is a variety of foods to choose from and with a fantastic price of 9.99$ for lunch! That's one good deal. 2018/30 read more

Was so excited to come back here with the family and was thoroughly disappointed. Almost everything tasted old. Kept trying different things from the shrimp, to the salmon, to the pork ribs. Everything just tasted old and not fresh. Even the chow mein for the kids which they had been looking forward to! The fried rice and the wings were ok. When we spoke to the manager she just kinda said it's fresh and brushed it off instead of making it right. Poor management and the place has gone downhill Not coming back! read more

Who wakes up craving a Chinese buffet? I do, I do! Buffets are far and few in between these days so to have this Plano institution still around after all these years - says something. Besides the awesome variety of food that is offered the ambience is crazy unexpected cool. Worth the try if you've never been. read more

Nice place & people, plenty of east mixed west taste food, still tasty good for my typical Chinese stomach

If you're hungry for Chinese food, this is the place to go. There is a lot of space, so you don't have to worry about waiting to be seated. I'd you want appetizers, soup, sesame chicken, baked fish, salad, fruit, or many other things, it's there. read more

The first thing I noticed tonight was someone coughing in that constant hack that pre-Covid most people would have had the sense to stay home. But now I don't know if it's political or what that gets people to think "hey let me take my sickness to a buffet restaurant and infect as many people as possible." But I was seated far away so I did my best to ignore it. And still I wondered why I came here. Then I make my dessert round and there's a child licking the spoon for the chocolate pudding and no one is stopping her--not the employees nor the mother right beside her. This nasty behavior is just normal. So I get it. I'm the weird one. I'm the one who doesn't belong. That's fine. Never again. read more

The Beef Egg rolls are the best egg rolls I've found in DFW so far!! Food can be hit or miss but overall better than Buffet KING. Not as big of a variety as Buffet King but Beef dishes are much better and meaty with good flavor compared to King's rubbery mystery meat. Food is best when first opening for lunch and Dinner time change over, other times some dishes are watery/soupy. Atmosphere is cozy and relaxing and I prefer to eat here for lunch during the week and Buffet King on Fridays for the Mongolian grill and seafood. Service is good and attentive. Overall I say the Quality is better than all the Buffets in the area and can rival many non-buffet chinese resteraunts. Did I say Best Eggrolls?? Good enough to buy a togo plate with just eggrolls to reheat in the air fryer. read more
