The food was not good. I ordered fried rice with chicken and beef, and an order of spare ribs and a side of garlic sauce. The rice didn't have no flavor or enough meat, and filled with big chunks of onion in it, and their ribs were bland and fatty. the garlic sauce was bitter and too thin. I wanted to give this place a chance because of the reviews but it was a horrible dining experience. Won't be back and especially for the price of $30 on take out delivery. read more

Today I tried the Sesame Chicken and it is to die for!! My new favorite!! The chicken chunks are very moist and the coating is crispy under the sauce which is so delicious! The egg rolls are nicely browned and crispy and have a great flavor! The broccoli and rice are both steamed perfectly. You normally wouldn't have too high of expectations for this restaurant that is located at the end of a small strip center, with a convenience store and gas pumps on the opposite end. But, do not be afraid. It is worth the drive to order from this restaurant. The staff is very nice and friendly and prepares your order quickly and with great care. Maybe I'm too picky with Chinese food, but I was expecting much more based on the positive reviews for this place. We ordered a few of their lunch specials and none of them were anything to write home about. We ordered the Chicken with Broccoli, General Tso's Chicken and the Mu Shu chicken. The lunch specials come with plain fried rice and it was way too dry and flavorless. You also get a beef egg roll, which was actually pretty good. The Chicken with Broccoli was okay, but not prepared the way we expected. It wasn't in the usual brown sauce and lacked flavor. It was a much healthier preparation for the entree, but just not what we were craving. The General Tso's chicken was okay, but a little soggy. The Mu Shu was good, but not as much as the one I'm used to getting back in NY. read more

I didn't visit but I did order delivery. I gave this place a try because Skillman Wok closed down (moment of silence). Delivery wasn't as quick as Skillman but (in all fairness) they were further "out" location wise. The menu is very similar to Skillman as well. I guess you can already tell that I'm really bummed out about Skillman and Skillman is going to be the standard for my review of Mango's. I ordered the sweet & sour shrimp (came with an egg roll), fried wontons, and shrimp fried rice. Honestly, not bad. I can't put my finger on it but the egg rolls and shrimp fried rice tasted as if they had a tiny hint of cinnamon. I can't say for sure but there was a slightly sweet taste to it. It wasn't overpowering but it was enough to kind of notice it. Personally, if there was cinnamon in it, I'd prefer there wasn't.... but again, it wasn't overpowering. I'll have to keep feeling this place out (or give others a try) before I make it MY new primary place for Chinese delivery. The place has good reviews and I honestly can't dispute them. Pros -Easy to locate -Friendly staff -Short wait time for food Cons -Flavorless wings. Six pcs(drumettes)for $5.25 0.88 cents each is steep. They were over cooked leaving them dry and hard. -The egg roll had entirely to much ginger in it which over powered the taste. -The combination fried rice was also dry with tiny shrimp. It is owned by Hispanic folks who were super nice and sooo they have gotten experience making Chinese food from previous establishments. The items are made with good quality and are fresh. I came across The Mango's on Yelp, read the reviews & looked at the pictures & figured why not try it out plus it's only 10 minutes from my home. 1st things 1st when a customer enters a restaurant, 3 employees should not just be sitting at a table eating with their feet propped up. No one said hello NOTHING! I grabbed a menu & sat in my car deciding what to try. I love jalapeño chicken so I figured hey $5.27 isn't bad for a special. Came back in stood at the register then a gentleman finally came to help me. He seemed very stand off-ish. Spoke low & didn't seem engaged. Anyhow I ordered & took a seat. About 5-10mins later a young lady brings out my food. Once I got home & open it up I was VERY DISAPPOINTED in the portion size. Maybe they are unaware what "authentic" jalapeño chicken is, not maybe they are. I honestly could've made my own jalapeño chicken at home if I wanted a kids portion. It seems the pricing has also changed within the past year, which is unfortunate. You raise prices but your quality goes down & I mean way down. Just look at my pictures compared to others. With that being said, I will NOT be returning nor would I recommend this location. I'll continue to drive 20 minutes to Master Work for large portions of food for only $5.10 (daily specials). The food and service are both great. There are several menu options and all of them are fantastic, the prices are great too. My favorites are the Beef Mushroom, Broccoli Beef, the Sesame Chicken and Orange Chicken. The Dumplings make a great appetizer as well. I strongly recommend The Mango's. read more

Four stars! We did carry out on a Monday night. Order was ready quickly and I will say it was delicious! I had the General Tso's chicken and my partner had the Sesame Chicken. We also got a side of steamed dumplings and crab rangoons. I highly recommend each of the above items. In addition to being tasty AF, they really took care of how they packaged the to-go order. Pleasantly surprised! The only thing I did not like was the hot and sour soup. . It smelled exactly how you would think cat pee would taste. I don't know what it was. But, I did not eat it. New Place --- replaced the old Tea and Crumpet place. Kinda strange --- owned by a Hispanic family doing fast food Chinese. Ordered Egg Foo young and combo fried rice. HUGE servings. Very fresh and very well executed. Crisp veggies in the egg foo young and huge cuts of meat and shrimp in the fired rice. Only thing missing is flavors -- no salt no spice--- cook/chef forgot to season everything ---at least now we know they dont NSG everything to death. I wish this place all the success in the world and I will give them more chances since they are 5 minutes from the house. Just simply really good Chinese food. We ordered Orange Chicken, General Tso Chicken, and Szechwan Beef all with fried rice. All of the entrees were nice and the sauces were nice and smooth not clumped. Sometimes when you order Chinese food to go the sauce congeals to the meat and there is very little sauce left. The fried rice is light and fluffy not clumped at all. My new favorite go to Chinese restaurant. The General Tso's is definitely spicy. read more
