Just ate here today, 10/21/22. And I honestly don't know how this can have any 1-stars. My experience was complete 5-star satisfaction. I arrived close to doors open to eat the food while it's freshest. If you arrive late, then I'd recommend foods that hold up better reheated, like non-fried/non-breaded stuff. The crab rangoon and potstickers were my favorite. Also loved that they had sushi too. The fact that they're able to produce so much tasty food at only ~$12 (~$15 after tax + tip for lunch) tells me this is the mark of hard working staff and incredible management. Other comparable buffets I've gone to, usually are $20-30+ easily. So this buffet is perfect for sampling without feeling obligated to overstuff yourself. read more

Went with my family tonight to celebrate my dads 70th birthday I have an allergy so I'm usually very careful I choose to have them make no my food so that I would know there was nothing bad in it. Well I was wrong there was shrimp in my food that I didn't put there. I spoke to the manger who didn't apologize but told me I should not eat it and that they have signs up. He also told me the cook has no way to clean the grill off. I would have been ok with an apology but got nothing! read more

The food was subpar. Salmon sushi looked like it had been sitting there sometime. Crab cakes tasted undercooked. Everything tasted off. Hibachi grill cook had a very nasty attitude, informed the manager and he did absolutely nothing. Took half and hour to notify me that food was finished cooking on hibachi and it was cold so the cook was still playing games. Dinner time crowded people waiting on the line, good thing you don't have to wait too long. Average 5-15 minutes. Inside very spacious, also a lot of people. Now, let's talk about food. Variety of food is huge, they have sushi rolls section, also they have Mongolian cuisine , pick any raw food, (meat, chicken, shrimp, tofu, a lot of vegetables) grab your sauce and bring them to chef. Because of a lot of people you might wait around 15-20min but it worth it. Baaaang very delicious. There are also another section of foods. You will find a lot of type Chinese foods, seafood... I've been here many times in the past, but I guess I never wrote a review about it, so, I'm going to write one from today's visit. Only thing I really like about this place is they cook your food for you Mongolian bbq style. I love my vegetables and tofu with the seasonings of my choice. It's absolutely delicious. As for other food, I'm not sure. I wished I took pictures of questionable food like Sushi, but I was playing safe and had 2 pieces of California rolls, bc I was scared to try the raw fish. I gave this place 3 stars, bc the pizza was good and Cajun corn and of course, Mongolian stir fried veggies and tofu. Our server was attentive. PB was very upset as he doesn't like this place, but he was being a good sport, bc I like the Mongolian style. He asked me never to bring him here again as he was not pleased with the food they had to offer. Plus, their ice cream is like ice milk from the 80's and though I wanted to try the Flan, I had no more room in my stomach. Now, I got my fix, I'm good for awhile. If I'm going to spend this type of money($41 plus tip, $48), I want to go somewhere with good quality of food, then I will be more than happy to pay for it. As with most all of these type of buffets, you really shouldn't expect much. I will say the selection is a-plenty. The quality isn't that great though. I'd avoid their sushi bar altogether. The rice is just bland and sticks together. There is no QQ texture at all. I've seen more occasions of patrons sneezing on the food in the buffet line than I can count and it's horrifying to sit there as I take my next bite. The price (for lunch anyways) is not bad. Rarely can you find about $12.00 buffet with this big of a selection. But again, like I said. Just notice the patrons who dine there and you'll understand the level of quality. read more

Food is always hot and fresh here and absolutely crazy amounts to choose from, my family are all picky eaters and we always find something to eat no problems here, they have fresh fish, a grill station where you can even create your own dish "my kids love that" and a soup area, seafood area but I always stick to the Sal and pepper chicken and fried rice! The service is always fast to fill up your drinks also. I am a buffet expert. Back in 2015 I ate at all of the casino buffets in Vegas during a whole year. King Buffet is my go to Asian buffet in the DFW area. From the moment you walk in the staff is very friendly. The restaurant is very clean and once you get seated they will get your drinks. The buffet it's self is very large, clean and with fresh foods. They have a sushi area were they make the sushi fresh. They have seafood, beef, vegie, chicken offerings. All of the classic Asian buffet offerings but also some new dishes as well. So I decided to give King Buffet a try despite the negative reviews. I was starving & craving some nice juicy crab legs. Upon arriving the parking lot was PACKED, I almost reconsidered going in but my stomach said no ma'am. Once you enter you will either receive a number to sit & wait to be called unless your a bigger group it seemed you got seated immediately. I waited about 5 mins then was seated at a side table. Now in my head going based off recent pictures I expected the buffet to be $15, so I was determined to get my money's worth lol. Water for drinking & stomach on E. Food: let's first touch on the "crab legs" what the heck happened to the snow crab legs ?! They had a tray full of fried small crab was NOT the crab legs you would expect. So are they getting cheap? They kept them full but who was really eating them was the question. They were so little & not worth even eating. However, all the other food was delicious especially the Mongolian grill. Afterwards, I topped it off with a cup of ice cream right out the door ! Customer Service: There wasn't much to be given other than taking away plates & refilling my water. Unless you count the staff standing/walking around watching your every move. Would I come back? Maybe, but if they aren't going to have the nice big snow crab legs I'll take my money elsewhere. It's nice that this buffet is able to stay open during Covid. They offer hand sanitizer and plastic gloves at the end of every buffet counter. The Mongolian stir fry is open. LAst time we went the ice cream machine was broken, sure hope it gets fixed because that's what the kids look forward too. read more

We went here on Sunday afternoon and was super busy, we had to wait for 30 mins to get in. There are so many options, everyone can easily find enough options to fill them up. This restaurant also does an amazing job of keeping the food pans full and fresh. Plus a lot of dessert options, fruit, ice cream, and a chocolate fountain with various things to dip in it! Sweet endings to a filling and satisfying lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is nice, good music, and nice decoration. The desserts are all store bought. The cream puffs were put out in the plastic packaging. I recommend making a bowl for them to cook, similar to Genghis Grill. At least you know it's fresh. Okay so this place is HUGE. Not your typical looking quaint Chinese restaurant. When we were seated I felt like I was walking into a military base mess hall. Rows of tables. This buffet boasts maybe 10 different stations of food. Anything and everything, not necessarily Chinese food. There is also an area where you can make your own plate and they cook the food for you. Our waitress was very quick to remove used plates and refill our drinks. The cook that was cooking at the Mongolian grill took way too long. I don't think I would go back. Like most Asian Buffet's, this takes me back to my childhood. They have a variety of sushi options, stable Chinese dishes, soups, Mongolian grill, and desserts. Some of my favorites are the crab salad, cream cheese wonton, chicken dumplings, sushi, and orange chicken. There are a lot of options for everyone.
