The burgers here are FANTASTIC!! Please get the masala fries and you really can't go wrong with any burger order. I'm not kidding when I say I was craving burgers for days on end after this visit. Met the owner briefly here as well and he says the Brooklyn spot is the best ;) Please stop by this cozy store and grab a burger bite in the neighborhood - you won't be sorry! thnx for reading

Omg, the flavors, the seasoning! One of a kind! Someone told me a few months ago that the Lamb is really good. I had it on my to taste list. Yesterday, I did had Lamb Chops, 2 small pieces, expensive because I would need 10 pieces to feel full and satisfied. They are absolutely unique in taste, the seasoning is sooooo good, it is the one must eat if you are in Brooklyn, absolutely. I liked it sooooo much that today, I brought my son to taste it, and he loved it as well. The Sweet Potato fries are also delicious and unique in taste. Today, I realized that is Pakistani seasoning, I didn't know Pakistani seasoning was sooo good. Now, I am going to eat a different Pakistani restaurant all over NY..lol and trust me, I know good seasoning spices. My brother comes here frequently for their burgers. Customer service is excellent, the ladies make you feel at home as well. Is a win win eating experience.

Bk Jani has awesome food and importantly, fantastic service. The lady at the front is always in a great mood, and i have never had a meal lunch below my standard in ~30 visits (I come all the time because my office in nearby).

4.5 in my book! Solid halal food option to try. Food: burgers were pretty great. The original jani burger was preferred over the lahori, with more flavor from the meat. Lahori just tasted like kabob in burger form. Burgers were cooked really well and could tell it was high quality. I also really enjoyed the masala fries. I felt the lamb chops were great, cooked perfectly, but the flavor was similar to the same spices on the burgers so it wasn't groundbreaking. The mango jani drinks we felt were a miss. Service: fast and friendly Ambiance: simple, not super fancy inside and bustling.

Came here with friends and had a lovely time. Very down to earth spot with causal vibes. It's a good size spot with seating. The server came quickly and she was really nice.

So I've had this place saved for a long, long time, because I absolutely love this laptops. Now I must say that these lamb chops were the most tender lamb chops I've ever had and I absolutely love them for that reason. However, on the contrary, I do think that these lamb chops had a lot of masala which was not needed. But definitely do recommend for you to try it out!

Just stopped in from out of town and had an amazing experience. The owner recommended the Jani burger and it was cooked to perfection, and seasoned with just the right spice level (medium). Owner and staff were extremely friendly and great to chat with. Highly recommend.

Got the Lahori Burger which has a perfect kick if you're in the mood for something spicy! Cool Pakistani spot if you're in the area but they have a few other locations around town. Excited to try this again.

Challi (Corn on the cob)

Incredible food. Hands down the best spot to go to if you're look for a masala infused burger. The meat is seasoned really well and paired really well with the chutney and raita. The lamb chops are also incredible.

Been trying to get everyone I know to come back with me. This place was fire, and had I not gotten a sample of the wings, I wouldn't ever think about ordering them from here. Will definitely be getting a side of wings with the next burger e we order. The famous burger was incredible and we enjoyed the Lahore. But next time I will go for their tried and true. Seriously incredible. Staff was also so so nice. We were also impressed with the burger coming out perfectly medium rare

I had the original burger--the burger, tomato, mint chutney. I asked for the spiciest, but the staff recommended I go with medium spice, which is the original level intended. I asked for the burger medium. It was a little closer to medium rare, but not quite. It was juicy and tasty! I think the recommend it medium or medium rare because the juices bring out the flavors. I could have handled the spiciest level, but glad I had the original because it really was all about the flavor. The masala fries were spicy, crispy, hot, and tasty. I got the large order, but honestly the small order would likely be plenty for one person. The spot has several tables and bench seats. Great murals along the walls as well as customer testimonials on paper. Not too crowded when I went on a Sunday afternoon. They have several iterations of the burger as well as a chicken sandwich, lamb chops, steak, and brisket. They have a veggie burger. The staff here were so super nice and helpful. They really were interested in my experience! I got the burger, large fries (btw, they also have sweet potato and plain fries available), two canned diet cokes, and two 16 Oz waters for 33 dollars before tip. Really enjoyed this spot, and would return. Also near lots of street art along Meserole and not too far from the Bushwick collective. You could make this a day in a cool Brooklyn neighborhood.

We started with samosas, two types; vegetable and chicken. These savory pastries were packed with well season veggies and chicken. The crust was light, flaky and perfectly crispy. The Lamb shanks was so tender, the meat fell of the bone. The spinach and paneer, a homemade cheese, paired well with the shank and vegetable fried rice. This spicy concoction cut through the heaviness of the meat dishes like a butter knife. The combination of flavors complimented each other and balanced the meal perfectly. The chai tea is a must. The original, smells and tastes like warm caramel. The "Kashmir chai" is an acquired taste. Less flavor intense than the regular chai but the pretty pink color adorned with shaved pistachio was a hit for the kids. If you still have room, carrot pudding, basil seed sherbet, assorted fudge and sweets are at your fingertips. Prices are reasonable, won't break the bank. I guarantee you will enjoy the experience.

A true institution in Little Pakistan, Lahori Chilli is an iconic restaurant nestled in the very busy row of neighborhood staples off of Foster Ave. This is a no-frills place serving up every day Pakistani cuisine in a Homey setting. There are booths for your comfort or an adjacent dining hall if you're here with family. They have some hot items almost every day that you can choose from, visible through the greasy glass of the display case. The sweets here are very very good, I particularly enjoy their falooda. Recently also sampled their gulab jamun, and they were to die for. Another dish they are super well known for is their battered masala fish fillet. This is something you have to dine in for to truly appreciate. It comes piping hot, crispy, and with just the perfect amount of masala dusting on top. A true culinary gem if you ask me. It has no bones and the crispy batter is the lightly crunchy without being super oily or greasy like a lot of other fried fish. The fish inside is moist, has no smell and is flaky. It is absolute perfection. Other things I absolutely love on their menu are their chicken seekh kababs and their kofta curry. Those two are usually my go to when I'm ordering food to go or delivery. I do want to give some feedback on a few things though. First of all, it's a little annoying that all the meat dishes are chicken only like I would like to see beef or lamb chapli kabab and seekh kabab. Why is the keema aloo chicken only? I wanna see lamb keema and beef keema on the menu. I also have noticed with some of the items that are in the buffet, they can have that smell sometimes that tells you that the food has been sitting out and not kept at the recommended temperature. A lot of food I order from the glass case goes bad the next day. I need the owner to implement better food safety. We also need more cleanliness around the dining area and spruce up the entrance a bit so people who are not local and privvy to desi food can have a clean and quality hole in the wall dining experience. Either way this restaurant is a place that I continue to frequent year after year. Thank you for feeding and nourishing this community.

The chicken was fresh and tasty but I could manage only half and had it packed. Now the naans here are not the delicate fragrant ones at fancy Indian restaurants. These are thick ones with or without ghee smeared on top (to request) meant for the lumberjack. Here these are in the form of cab drivers and delivery men who need sustenance and no froo froo cuisine. The gender neutral restroom is in my opinion the "Black hole of Calcutta." For men, it may be passable but for women absolutely verboten to enter. At a pinch, go to Kalustiyan where there is a restroom up the stairs. Ideally only should buy something before asking to powder one's nose. Service at Lahori is fine.

I love tasting new restaurants and wanted to stop by this place . Fantastic location . Right in the heart of Lexington Avenue . Lots of other restaurants nearby. Lots of space inside to sit and eat . Even though the ambience is not that great , it's ok for a quick lunch .. service could be better. All guys go inside the kitchen and hardly come out . Wish they had a bell or something in the counter outside for the customers to call them . Sometimes you keep waiting for many minutes before they come out . For the price , food was good . They have many food items on display and we chose some curries .. quantity was good . Naan , white rice and 2 non veg curries for 13.50$. Not bad. ... goat curry was good . Perfect Lahori taste . Chicken curry was average . Could have tasted better . My only issue is presentation. The y just mix all curries in rice and they are smashed all across the plate . Wish they give these curries in separate containers so we can enjoy the flavor of each curries . Another thing is they just reheat these curries . They are precooked . Sometimes with that , we wouldn't know if it is fresh . It tasted fresh though. Overall a good restaurant but giving them 3 stars . Will visit again and check and improve my ratings if needed

Lahore is a Pakistani restaurant which is honestly not common to come across (compared to Indian restaurants). The interior is nicely decorated and we were seated immediately. We got 2 appetizers, Aloo Papri Chaat and Gol Gappay. The Aloo Papri Chaat was cold, loaded with textures and flavors, and even some slight sweetness. It was enjoyable but not sure I would gravitate to this again. The Gol Gappay was beautifully presented with a similar flavor profile to the Aloo Papri Chaat. It's great for sharing and more of a playful appetizer. I've never had Karahi before and although maybe not the traditional version, we opted for the White Chicken Karahi. It was mild, savory and creamy. It took ~30 minutes to prepare as the menu states and they don't skimp out on the chicken. For the price point, I would say the portion is reasonable. The chicken was tender, buttery, and aromatic. My only complaint is that it wasn't served with anything so we had to add some Basmati Rice and Tandoori Roti on our own dime. I think it should come with at least one complimentary side dish considering it's an entree. We ended with a Kashmiri Chai. It's a pink-hued tea that actually gets its color from the chemical reaction between the green tea & baking soda. All this time, I thought it was rose! It was garnished with pistachios and had hints of cardamom and cinnamon spices which I enjoyed. Good try overall!

It's unfortunate that I have to post this as I feel despite us voicing our concern (multiple times) in person with the staff and also on the phone when ordering take out, the staff is not trained and do not take certain dietary restrictions seriously such as food allergies. After having a child who suffers from peanut and egg allergies, whenever we have dined or ordered from here as of lately, we have politely asked for certain food not to be served together and prepared properly. After expressing this, the staffs answer is rude and with an attitude and us being told "ok i'll just put it in a separate plate" after it being cross contaminated and served. Then during a take out order when we called to alert that there is an allergy, to please ensure the food is properly handled and packed separately from egg-containing items, we were told (specifically by Jaspreet) it is already prepared and packed, so the best that can be done is taken out and packed separately instead of adhering to the urgency of the matter and re-preparing the food. Our child broke out in hives due to their negligence in the past and I fear that their inefficiency to understand the seriousness of this matter will one day result in legal action being taken against this establishment if God forbid someone else has a reaction or worse a Fatality. My post isn't intended towards the quality of the food, it is more so to be heard and create awareness on this matter as it seems this establishment can care less towards your health needs. Update: We were contacted by ownership (Ishrath) and accused of being in the wrong and were met with disrespect and advised not to come to this establishment anymore as they cannot meet our "crazy demands." We should have been heard out, which was explained to co-ownership (Sobia) a few minutes after my review was posted, that this wasn't a personal jab towards the establishment however has happened to us on multiple accounts, specifically from staff member Jaspreet the past two times in a matter of two weeks. There was no apology on the matter, just defensiveness in a "sweet tone." This is more so a validation that despite us voicing our concerns multiple times in person, it has fallen on deaf ears and it is unfortunate that we have had to go to such extremes as posting this to be heard. Since my post, we see the attempt to have our post buried, and quite frankly hope it made a difference, albeit they have lost our business however we know the restaurant will still thrive. Still wishing them the best of luck and hopefully prevents any future consequence on this matter.

In retrospect, I believe it should have come with a curry on the side as well, so we missed that. The butter chicken has a tomato-based flavor palette, but I wished there is more curry sauce.
