Before I dive in, it's kind of important to note that, I am pretty picky when it comes to biscuits. For that reason, I don't tend to like many fast food biscuits, because gosh, it just takes a lot to make a good biscuit, and the word "fast" doesn't really agree with that. That said, this chain (with their corporate HQ in Greensboro) specializes in exactly that. They even have a biscuit window, where you can watch the person constantly toiling and making your fresh biscuits the entire time they are open. Biscuit is in the name, and they are serious about it. Regardless of this, they have never really won me over, and so many people have egged (breakfast pun, hah) me on to give them another chance lately, that I did. I'll say this, they did everything really really well... except for the biscuit. Let's dive in with the good. The man working the register had great customer service. Genuinely appeared to be happy to work there, welcomed me, and was engaging. The tea was good, and I went with potato wedges instead of the hash brown patty, they were just a bit crisp on the outside with a mashed creamy feeling inside. Perfect. All Great. My biscuit however, looked like someone had run it over with a steam roller. Even with egg, cheese, and country ham in it, it was not even 1 inch thick. I even contemplated whether they had given me one of the "skinny" biscuits they advertise. Maybe they did. You can check the photos. It wasn't completely dry, but it also wasn't moist, and definitely wasn't fluffy. It tasted buttery, but due to the lack of texture wasn't an enjoyable balance against the egg, cheese, and country ham. It also wasn't priced competitively with the "cathead" biscuits that you see from local BBQ places, and especially not compared to the king of High Point biscuits, BFAC (IYKYK). In the fast food world, I would pick a Bojangles biscuit over this particular one I was served, without question. All in all, a mid-morning biscuit would usually leave me satisfied until dinner. This one didn't. Three stars for the things that were done really well, but it's the biscuits I came here for, and mine simply did not deliver. I want to love it, I really do. Convince me to!

I've visited this Biscuitville drive thru twice in the last week and a half and I've been very pleased. Not only is the food fresh, hot and delicious, but the service is nice as well. It's quick and easy at its best. I recommend the double bacon platter if you're super hungry. This comes with four eggs, four pieces of bacon, a hash brown (or grits) and a biscuit. If you're not starving like I usually am, you can opt for the regular bacon platter which is just two eggs and two bacon. Still with a side and biscuit. Ya just can't go wrong with it.

I stopped here around 8:25am on a Wednesday morning to get some breakfast before going to my office. I decided to go inside as I needed time to look at the menu without the pressure of holding up the drive thru line, lol. There were 3 people in like waiting and no one at the register taking orders. I checked my email and found a coupon for $1 off any combo. I ordered at 8:31am. I got the bacon, egg, and cheese with skinny biscuit. Skinny biscuit is 1/3 less calories than regular one. I got it in a combo with fries and strawberry tea. The total It was $8.55 before $1 off coupon and $7.78 after. I received my food around 8:35am. My fries were HOT and fresh! They also were seasoned (salt) the perfect amount. My skinny biscuit was definitely skinny, LOL. I was thinking it was made differently but it's legit just a thinner biscuit. It was kinda comical lol. Nonetheless, it was very tasty. The bacon was crispy, which I love. I love Biscuitville for their strawberry tea and this cup was delicious as expected. No complaints. I enjoyed my breakfast thoroughly!

A nice tasty scratch kitchen feel, as it's name suggest, Biscuitville does biscuits well, only thing they're missing are milkshakes, but that might just be me wanting them to be a full alternative to Chick Fil A as their fried chicken biscuit sandwich far surpasses the one from CFA. In house honey mustard was tasty and actually had a bit of a bite unlike some other honey mustards that are overly bland. Pretty nice feel inside the building, not too hoity toity but also not grimy a la Popeye's. Overall a great experience, Charles (at least that's who's name was on our receipt) was helpful in answering questions I had considering it was my first time at this restaurant. I only wish we had one in Southern Florida, but a nice meal for the end of my vacation here in North Carolina, will be back when I come visit family again

The inside was very clean and the staff was hard at work. We ordered off the kiosk and got to spend as much time as needed figuring out what we wanted to order. I got the sweet & spicy bacon burger, fries and an OJ. My husband got a double Whataburger with fries and a fountain drink. Our food was brought out by a very pleasant and polite young lady with orange in her hair. I'm sad I didn't catch her name as she was wonderful! My OJ was missing but she had no problem grabbing me one when asked! We tried a fry on the way home, and I'm glad we did. We have about a 15 min drive and the fries did not hold up hot and fresh. They were still good, but that first car fry was amazing! We'll definitely dine in or eat the fries in the car next visit! The burgers were phenomenal. They were full of flavor and the toppings complemented them nicely! They were nice and hot when we got home as well! Only downside was the missing sauces in our bag. Not a deal breaker and I should have checked before we left, but it's okay! We have ketchup at home and I hadn't yet decided how to use my ranch! Great experience and we will be back to this location!

I should have asked for light mustard. It had more mustard than what I usually like, but it was okay. There weren't many onions on my burger. I couldn't taste them at all. The fries were hot, crispy and pretty good as well. Not sure what all the hype was about and the long lines in drive-thru when they first opened because I've had better. Would I go again? Maybe.

As I approached the counter I was quickly redirected to go back and order from the kiosk, despite there being no one in the restaurant and several employees just standing around waiting behind the register. Right off the bat that rubbed me the wrong way, it's a complete lack of customer service. The kiosk is a bit backwards, seemingly not showing pricing until you add the item, which was frustrating, so I had to keep glancing across the restaurant to the menu board so I didn't have to keep adding and removing items. I finally settled on the chicken, bacon cheese sandwich, opting out of the combo since it's $12, and I was going home anyway. The food came out fairly quickly, again, the place was empty. I took the sandwich home, it was good, but not great, a bit too greasy for my liking. The portion size was good, and more than enough for a lunch. Overall, not for me, their competitors certainly offer friendlier and better customer service, and cleaner food quality.

One might ask themselves, "Fried chicken in a gas station?", but there are many hidden gems lurking…read morein unassuming places. After much hype and inquiring with a friend, we decided to try Pantry Fried Chicken, a.k.a. "gas station chicken", selecting a location closest to our house. We opted to order a la carte items, which saved us almost $10 (essentially eliminating drinks). Our meal consisted of chicken tenders, boneless chicken wings, fish fillet, large side of wedges, side of coleslaw, and fried okra. Soft rolls were a bonus! The breading on chicken is crunchy & tasty and comes with an array of sauce selections. The large size wedges could feed an army (at least 4-6 ppl). Potatoes were crunchy on outside (coated?) and soft & tender like a baked potato on the inside (our favorite). The okra was chewy. Now, I'm not sure how to rectify this issue as it had been sitting in a closed container, possibly trapping moisture (maybe wax paper bags?) ‍ Unfortunately , the fish was included in okra container (problem for those who don't like their food touching, but we didn't mind), and fish seemed a bit undercooked, hard to cut, a bit chewy/fishy for my liking. Not sure what type of fish they used, but I do prefer mine cooked a bit more (maybe they accommodate this request?). The coleslaw was tangy (I could definitely identify the horseradish!). All in all portion sizes are plentiful and they provide good value for the money. Everything cooked appears to be deep fried and nothing really stood out besides salt/pepper as seasoning and the potato wedges. You do get good portion sizes and value for the money. Add-ons also seem reasonable. We ordered via app (they have a rewards program) which provided follow-up texts regarding pick-up instructions and thanking us for our order/visit again. You can additional items (per piece price) to a la carte items. Again, this is located at a gas station in a strip mall near Scientific. The ambiance is storefront carryout with lots of parking lot traffic (so be aware). Not sure if dine-in options are offered (aside from your car interior). Recommend checking them out--even if it's once--and form your own opinions. (I was raised on broasted chicken/potatoes, so I may be a bit biased.)

Like most Cook Out spots it can get crazy at peak times, that's why I like that they open at 10:30! I popped in here because I had called in a take out order at Golden Wok for the evening meal - more on that later. The food here is "real food made simple", and it is good food as well. The burgers are really nice (I especially like the Big Double with Cheese), the hot dogs follow suit ( both the chili dog and the dog with mustard and kraut), the Spicy Chicken sandwich is excellent (rivaling Popeye's and KFC), and even the BBQ is good, a fair Eastern NC version. On this trip I had Hot Dog with mustard & kraut and a Big Double with Cheese, Lettuce & Tomato. I don't get mayo on sandwiches here because the mayo they use is thin and runny, drips out on everything - I have the dry cleans bills to support that! I carry small packets of Duke's and apply it myself. These items were very good - well cooked and well packaged (not a given at Cook Out locations). I am happy for this restaurant chain's success.
