I went here with a first meal outing with my grandson. I love this place nostalgic love watching them make the food. I get the bowl with double hashbrowns bacon cheese scrambled eggs and a waffle ( which smells like vanilla clouds as it is cooking) . The service is set up kinda weird depending who's on. The cooks have been A1. This place can't help but make me smiles as the smell of hash browns and waffle permeate the air. So gooood. Pricing is good. You can converse in the dining area. Best seat is at the counter to get a Birds Eye view of watching your food prepared as your mouth waters. I tip well because they work their tails off. I will be back. read more

This place keeps going down hill on the service, food, cleanliness, manners. The coffee maker will only fill the pot 3/4 full which makes the already strong coffee even stronger. It taste like it's been sitting there for hours. The toast was still soft bread when served. We had to get up to get the waitress to get a refill on coffee. The grits was thick and lukewarm. Years ago they were served hot and seasoned just right. After 40-45 years of being a daily/weekly customer of Waffle House the one on Westchester has seen the last of us. We are tired of dealing with them. If we ever go back to a WH it will be out of state. read more

It's been TEN years since I last had Waffle House in Atlanta. Love this chain and I knew I had to check this one out since I was at the High Point Market this past October. Even if it was dinner. Who doesn't love breakfast food for dinner? :) I ordered the Hashbrowns "All the Way" for $5.00 Regular Size. It says Regular Size, but it really means you should not try eating that all on your own. It's a shareable plate. "All the Way" includes Smothered (sauteed onions), Covered (melted cheese), Chunked (hickory smoked ham), Diced (grilled tomatoes), Peppered (jalepeno peppers), Capped (grilled mushrooms, Topped, and Country (gravy). MmmmMM! I also ordered a side of Pecan waffles. My entire meal was less than $10 and I had leftovers to take home. The cook and waitress was nice, always checking in if everything's good. The kitchen shares the same open space as where the customers are, so you're able to see the cook make your food. Pretty cool to watch! This restaurant staff was HORRIBLE!!! My Husband and I walked in and stood at the register to be seated and the staff didn't even acknowledge us at ALL!! There were two tables left which were dirty so we waited to be seated and the young black girl (Lisa) asked what we needed and I said we were dining in, she told us it would be a minute. So we waited and waited. Then finally a lil short women asked us what we needed I told her and she said oh you can have seat! We finally sat down and the waitress couldn't even look at us in our eyes. The cook burnt my waffle, I told her I couldn't eat this and she asked me did I want it a "little lighter" (mind you I'm Black woman) so I said yeah of course. My Husband noticed when another man came in the same woman (Lisa) who ignored us greeted this man with a smile and called him SIR!? Showed him to the bar to have a sit and everything I was like Wowwww.. !! Two more families came in and the staff did not get greet them at ALL !! Too bad there isn't an option for zero stars I have no idea how this establishment is still open! I tried to give them a second chance after the horrible attitudes of the staff and the service and now it's worse they see you standing at the register to place an order and no one acknowledged us AT ALL for over 22 mins and it wasn't even busy the only reason we even tried this one is because the other one was extremely busy but this place isn't worth the hassle i know Waffle House has a reputation for being crappy but even this is an all time low for Waffle House don't waste your time energy or efforts on this one read more

So disappointed in the attitude of the cook! It's sad he will be the reason numerous people don't return that was with my party at different tables. He's the tall big African American man. Not racist, if you read my reviews you already know my husband's black one whole side of the restaurant was closed off so it was the bar and the tables on one side. My husband works 3rd and we're empty nesters so it's easy sometimes just to eat breakfast when he gets off work instead of me home cooking. We chose the Waffle House unfortunately. The waitress was slow but sweet. My husband's tooth had broken off earlier in day and he asked waitress for soft bacon and not crunchy hash browns just light and eggs. Bacon was way to crispy and I spoke to the waitress and the cook said ain't our problem don't they know the price of bacon smh first off my husbands like a rabid pit bull so I had to back him down and I decided to call the manager next day but apparently the manager was never there. The bacon was recooked but with a lot of attitude and mouth directed towards us. I had gotten a steak and cheese melt it was cheese mayo and bread. If you have to skimp on good like this please shut down this one til you can afford to run it properly. I'll never go back here I'll drive to tville or Greensboro which is sad when I'm in high point. I mean this cook acted like the food was coming out of his pocket. It's not like he didn't take the bacon to the back and eat it behind the one way glass you can see through when the doors open right beside it I had what appeared to be hash browns but they were so burnt it was like eating those potato fries out the can. It's high time I write a review about this Waffle House. After all, I have checked in two or three over the last 12 months. While you aren't going to get a gourmet breakfast here, you are going to get what they are famous for and that is a good breakfast at an alarmingly quick pace. I had my order in about four minutes after placing it. The service provided has always been good at this location as they seem to have employees that stay on a while and actually care about making sure you are happy. On my most recent visit, Meka made sure my coffee cup was always full during my time there and she always threw in that "baby" and "honey" thing when talking to me - I kinda like that. I know it's a Southern thing that can get you in trouble elsewhere in the US but, not here... All in all, this is a place I would easily go to again when I have a hankering for a morning "slider" as we refer to them. read more

Three mistakes on one order on a dead Monday morning is just not acceptable! I order the fiesta omelette which no way shape or form mentions mushrooms and there were a sizable amount! I ordered my hash browns well done and smothered and I received neither!! Their were less than 5 customers at the time!! This is unacceptable read more

Waffle House is pretty new to us considering we just moved here from NJ about a month ago. There are no Waffle Houses anywhere in Jersey. We've stopped at various Waffle Houses in Virginia & West Virginia traveling back & forth before we moved but luckily, this particular one is only 10 minutes from where we live now. We enjoy taking our kids to breakfast here once in a while; it's a simple, quick and affordable meal. So far our experiences have been quite positive; friendly service, clean tables and hot tasty breakfast. They actually listen here; if you want crispy hash browns, you get crispy hash browns. My personal favorites: hot mugs of coffee, tasty bacon, crispy hash browns, raisin toast with apple butter and my (over hard) eggs are always cooked perfectly). My kids love the waffles, my husband enjoys the oatmeal alongside his (scrambled) eggs, hash browns & bacon and my best friend enjoys the "All Star" breakfast of (over easy) eggs, sausage, white toast & a hot waffle. We will most definitely be returning to this Waffle House in the future for breakfast with our kids. read more

Food is good EXCEPT now onions in hashrounds. Not everyone likes onions and when ordering the menu is not updated to reflect the change. Also when ordering through delivery service its no way to say without. Thought the onions may have been a mistake cause it used to not be in the hashrounds. In food should be more sautéed than crunchy when eating. read more

I ordered the All-Star special breakfast scrambled eggs hashbrowns smothered. It comes with a waffle and I had sausage as my meat. I never did receive my waffle. I had to ask for my refill on coffee. Cleanliness I would give a six out of 10 due to the fact of all the grime and food waste laying on the floor in the kitchen prep area. We went in for a simple meal. We've done Waffle House in several locations when we need a quick nostalgic bite and their admittedly OK. This Waffle House served us the best Waffle House meal up to date. The steak was cooked to order, the eggs were perfectly cooked to order and the hash browns were perfect and amply portioned. My family and I ate here the other week when it was snowing, our waitress was wonderful & so was the food!!! But what we liked the most about our visit was how the management took care of the place, he was outside cleaning off the handicapped parking space that was covered in snow/ice. I have a family member that is handicapped and seeing some one that thinks of their safety is just awesome! Had breakfast there this morning 7:30am totally disappointed it wasn't busy it took forever to get my food I've never waited longer in my life and I'm 60 years old the eggs were overcooked the waitress brought my food there was no sausage which I ordered she said the cook was still cooking it and she would bring it never saw it the food should have been cooked together only saw the waitress three times when she took my order when she brought my food and then the bill only got one cup of coffee and I had finished it before she brought my food they should have paid me to eat there will never go back.4/14/2016 read more
