I had never been here even though it's close to my home and church. I unfortunately do not like biscuits, too doughy for me, it's just not my cup of tea. I have eaten biscuits before but I just eat the outside part. Today I was in a rush for breakfast so I figured I would check out the menu. I went to the drive through and was met by a very nice young lady who was taking orders on an I-Pad. I so a sign for the smoked sausage biscuit and asked if they had any sandwiches in an English muffin. Boy was I excited when she told me they can do any of their sandwiches on an English muffin!!!! So I went with the smoked sausage, egg and cheese. It comes with peppers and onions but I don't do onions either. Yes, I'm a picky bastard....lol. My order was ready as soon as I got to the window. Loved the quick service. I also ordered a strawberry muffin.....those pictures in the drive through are very convincing and make you break your diet! My order was correct and all the condiments, straw , napkins, and packets of Splenda were in the bag, unlike other fast food places that always miss something or get your order wrong. The smoked sausage and egg was really good, egg seemed as if it were a fresh fried egg and not that round microwave kind. I added mayo, could have used some hot sauce. English muffin was toasted and not too soft and chewy. The strawberry muffin was a great additions soft and warm, sugar crystals on top are great. Overall I was very happy with my meal. Employees were fast, efficient and friendly. They definitely gained a new customer. If you have time to go in and sit for a meal. Inside is homey and comfortable in a laid back environment. I have always enjoyed the food at Biscuitville. I say food, but I pretty much stay with biscuits, and the occasional muffin or pastry. On this visit, I went with the Ultimate Sausage biscuit - 2 sausage patties, an egg, and two slices of cheese on a scratch made biscuit. This was a great biscuit, and a full meal for me, though I did get a Raspberry pastry for later, probably much later. read more

This is the best Biscuitville in Winston, and I'm fortunate to live right near here, so coming in for a quick bite is always an option! The staff is friendly and attentive, and I am always helped quickly, with my food arriving not long after I order it. And Sunday was no different, I had to swing by and grab something quick, because the Sunday Chore list was long, and I was short on time! So, I stopped in and grabbed a combo really quickly and was out the door in 5 mins or less! You can't beat that, especially for their good prices and fresh ingredients. This is one of the only "fast food" places that I will order and eat the egg, because they are real eggs and not from power or anything else. We've been going to Biscuitville for years. Occasionally they mess up our order but most of the time they are pretty consistent. They are always coming up with new specials for people to try. They currently have an Apple Blossom. It is pretty good but needs more apples on it. They also have a caramel iced latte. This is really good. If you haven't tried it, you need to. It is wonderful. They have other specials but I have not tried the Meatloaf biscuit or the Potato Casserole. read more

We have seen these places since we got here. Today we stopped because we needed coffee and non-donut food for breakfast. I got the chicken fried steak on a biscuit...tasty stuff especially with the Texas Pete hot sauce. If you like soft, fluffy, moist, and flavorful biscuits loaded with whatever you want on them, come to Biscuitville! I look forward to eating here every time I visit North Carolina. My favorites are the bacon egg and cheese and the pork chop biscuits. However, you can not go wrong with any of them. My wife is not a biscuit fan, so she gets the english muffin versions of their sandwiches, which are equally delicious. The staff is super friendly and greets regular customers by name. Inside its basic counter service with a seat yourself tables like at any fast food restaurant. The restaurant has been spotless every time I have gone in. She has the worst management skills that I have ever seen, at any Biscuitville. She has no concern for the employees or the customers. I woke up today with a hankering for some biscuits. I briefly considered obtaining some flour, lard, salt, baking powder but then, I quickly came to my senses. Thankfully, I recalled seeing a restaurant called Biscuitville! It was fate! We arrived Saturday morning to a full parking lot, a full restaurant, and the wonderful smell of fresh biscuits! The nice lady behind the counter called me darlin' and fixed us up with some wonderful, fresh, flaky biscuit sandwiches. I thought things were slow down in the south but they were on the job and darn quick about it. Plus, we tried the new pistachio muffin. This bright green muffin had a wonderful crunchy sugar coated top and a moist center, full of pleasant pistachio nuts and flavor. I'm going to get another tomorrow morning and actually take a picture, since we scarfed this one down before the camera could even autofocus. read more

My husband and I were on the road and we saw the menu pull up online for biscuitville. Everything looked good and we pulled off to order some food. We walked in at 1:50 with no idea they closed soon. The cleaner had the floors absolutely soaked and the woman ordering in front of us was standing in a pool of water. The cleaner looked up at us and said, "Uhh sorry, we close in like 10 minutes... where were you guys wanting to stand?" And proceeded to squeegee out a little square so we were able to stand a few feet from the register. The two woman working the front were giving us rude looks as we looked at the menu and also let us know that they were closing in 10 minutes. They made us aware that they don't even have half of the things on the menu because they close so soon. We apologized to them and said we didn't want to waste their time and they said we were free to come back tomorrow at 5am when they open again. However, as we pulled around the parking lot to leave, we saw three cars in the drive through still receiving their orders. We're both in foodservice and I understand wanting close up. But that was extremely rude and disrespectful and I would absolutely be fired if I ever treated customers the way they did. read more

I knew I would like this place from the instant that I saw the old ladies hand-kneading biscuit dough behind the Plexiglas. That instantly tells me that this place is not only proud of its biscuit making process, but also that it has nothing to hide. There are only a few things you need to know about Biscuitville. 1) Everything is great here. I didn't try the coffee but I did get a bite of about half of the items on the menu. I loved it all. 2) They are not open after about 2PM so you will be sad if you try to come for a late lunch. 3) You should try to keep in mind how much saturated fat is in each sandwich so you pace yourself through each meal. Each biscuit sandwich is going to be between 600-900 calories NOT including a side. I personally am NOT full after a biscuit sandwich and often eat half of my wife's. Well, is it a "5 star restaurant" in the sense the chef is renowned or the cheapest item is the cost of a tank of gas in the mid-2000s? No. But for what Biscuitville is and the service they offer, they do it damn well. 1) starting with the namesake "Biscuitville." They make biscuit sandwiches. My go to is the #2 - bacon/egg/cheese w/tomato added. Each ingredient seems quality made. The bacon is like how my mama made it; tomato is fresh; egg is delicious...oh, and the biscuits are incredible: well seasoned, perfect balance of firm and soft. The ville aspect isn't lacking either. Every time i show there is a group of elderly men eating and having coffee and talking. It really gives it that community feel. The coffee is the best you can buy in a restaurant. I'll come just for the coffee sometimes. It's well worth going out of your way for. Customer service is always great. The place is always clean as well. read more

Hockey pucks. Anytime a "biscuit" is less than an inch thick, is scratchy to the mouth, is not fluffy, than it is not a PROPER BISCUIT. Disappointment in the "biscuits" overshadows EVERYTHING that is in this place when the word BISCUIT is in the name. You could tell the workers were ashamed to present it to you. This may appeal to someone since they are still in business, but when you taste a real biscuit with fluff and delicious taste you will throw their biscuits at them. Walk in this morning and cashier is talking to a customer, seated, eating breakfast. I wait. He takes my order: a sausage/egg biscuit. I wait. I wait. And wait. There is no one in line. There's one car in the drive through. I had to give up and leave. It's just a biscuit for crying out loud. I hate to write this because the woman who I assume is the manager works so hard, has been there forever, and she is great. Exceptionally friendly and courteous staff. Last holiday season my wife and I were having breakfast and noted several families, particularly with young children were bringing holiday treats for the staff, which tells you a lot about the family environment and how genuine the folks working there are. I'm saying 3.5 stars. They were fast, the food was fresh and they were busy. My biggest issue however was the cleanliness of the facility. The ladies bathroom truly smelled as if something died in there. It was awful. It clearly needed a deep, deep cleaning. Every single table was dirty - which I know happens on a busy Saturday morning, but maybe a person to the staff who is in charge of the tables, trash, bathrooms, etc could really step it up a notch. read more

I've always loved Biscuitville. One step above McDonalds or BK for breakfast. Not quite restaurant quality but close. Last week I arose from my coma at 630 and couldn't fall asleep again. So I throw on the Giants winter coat and off I go for food. I pull in Biscuitville's parking lot and NOTHING. No lights, no cars, nothing. Open at 7 the sign says. So I park and lay the seat back. Somewhere around 730 the manager comes out to check on me. After convincing her I wasn't trying to kill myself with the engine running I get 2 sausage biscuits for 2 bucks. Good fluffy biscuits with spicy pork. And not how Mcdonalds does their 2 for 2 where they cut the size of the meat. Four stars for good food and awesome employees who check on suicidal people in their parking lot. Minus one star for the prices. If you don't ge the special you will spend five or six bucks for drive thru breakfast. read more

I am a coffee lover, and rarely use the fast food chains, as their coffee is uniformly weak, tastes like the manager is trying to save money by diluting it, so if I want breakfast, I go to the Mom and Pop breakfast places. However, sometimes I am in a rush, and have to bear the watered down coffee. In the past I have used Hardee's for their biscuits, and MacDonald's for their killer oatmeal, So one day, I was driving down the road and decided to try Biscuit Ville. I was pleasantly delighted. The service is very fast. The offerings are the standards: biscuits which are great and made fresh from scratch that day, topped with a choice with country ham, sausage & egg, as well as alternatives to pork sausages, Turkey.. Also, full plates with pancakes, grits, scrambled eggs, home fries. However, the thing that impressed me was the coffee!. , They offer regular and bold..I love their bold.
