BoJangles has always been a favorite of mine, in fact other than perhaps the fried chicken sandwich, I prefer the food over Popeye's. But on this day, I came to have the fried chicken sandwich here as part of a plan to try as many such sandwiches as possible in the general area! This spot is one of the older BoJangles in the area, and frankly the service is very slow, slower than any fast food locations I've been through in the immediate area, and I've been through most! Finally got my chicken sandwich ($5.69) - would have normally gotten some FF but they no longer season them, and they suck! This is a pretty good chicken sandwich - marinated and seasoned with "Bo spices", then fried in soy based vegetable oil. This is not the largest breast filet (that honor would go to KFC) nor is it the smallest (that would be Chick-Fil-A) - this is in the 7 ounce range, and sales for $5.69. My overall rating for this sandwich would be 8.5 out of 10! read more

This place is awful, waited for 20 minutes for an online order that was supposed to be ready. Entire staff cutting up and listening to music ignoring customers, all three of them. The store was nasty, counters not clean more the floor, no one wearing gloves. The guy next to me received raw chicken. If you want to meet your maker, try this spot out. This restaurant is one of the olde Bojangles in this area I have eaten at this location for years. As with a lot of fast food places since the virus they have not yet fully recovered. I have a coupon for a free fry from Bojangles I've had for years (literally like 6 years). But since I never come here, and it has no expiration date, it's just been sitting in my car. That is until yesterday, when I took my kids after their dental check up, for a treat since they've never been to Bojangles before (I know, that already makes me a bad person). Boy, that was a mistake. Our order was taken quickly but filled like it was rush hour (it was 3 in the afternoon). The cashier took my free fry coupon with no issues. However, several minutes later, another employee came over and said they wouldn't take it. I was not given a reason other than it's a "corporate coupon" (it doesn't say that on the coupon, it just says 1 free seasoned fry). I tried to reason with them - it's my kids first time there and I have a legit coupon - it is REALLY going to put you out of business to honor a $2 coupon?? Yes, apparently, because she flatly refused. I had to go back to the register and pay for the fries. I know it's not the end of the world, but a store that can't honor a simple request like that, especially for kids who are coming for the first time, is really a terrible way to deal with your customers. Everytime me and my wife come here the workers throw a fit when we ask for a receipt. The inside is always shut off to the public, the last 4 times we have come here and multiple more there inside was locked. No seasoning on the fries, and with no inside area we couldn't ask for more. "Denise." 0830 on 29MAR22 They should have hired "DeNephew." I understand that there is a problem with the kids of this generation not wanting to work. But, as a business, it would be better to temporarily close until you get decent employees, than it would be to suffer the reputation hits associated with putting kids like "Denise" in front of your paying customers. My kid went to school hungry today, because Denise wants everyone she meets to suffer as a result of her displeasure with the results of her own life choices. It started out simple enough. The line at Biscuitville was too long, we did not have time, so we went to Bojangles to pick up breakfast before I took my daughter to school. They had a big picture of a sandwich on the menu, and it looked good...so I ordered it. That's when the huffs and the puffs started. "uhhh...huuuhhh...uhhhh...we don't serve that until lunch." OK...probably should not have a big picture of it on the breakfast menu but, whatever. I don't want to argue with the Bojangles drive through girl, so I keep that to myself. Instead, rather than spend 10 minutes perusing the menu and making other people wait for me to do that, I kept it as simple as possible. "OK then. Just put the chicken on a biscuit. That'll be fine." Now, somehow, that made "Bad Decision Denise" REALLY angry. "I SAID we don't serve that until lunch." And people, I mean she was an ABSOLUTE B__CH in the way she said that to me. They are a CHICKEN joint, and she is not only telling me that they do not serve chicken on a biscuit for breakfast...but she is YELLING that at me. My daughter, sitting next to me, tells me the words this imbecile will understand to mean "a biscuit...with chicken on it," and I also order a Biscuits and Gravy plate for my kid. We get to the window, and it's nothing but attitude. She took the biscuits and gravy, and turned the container sideways in the bag, so the shit would all leak out. Then, with the nastiest attitude you can imagine: "You wanna speak to a manager?" WHOAH! My kid had to be at school. I let BoJangles keep the 6 bucks and we threw away the food. Fast Food employees with attitudes as bad as Denise's, they are the ones that end up spitting in your food anyway, so throwing it away was probably for the best. I dropped my kid at school...HUNGRY...and started back toward BoJangles to grab that manager and have a chat. But on the way, I thought: I am a grown man. I have made very GOOD life decisions, so I have a very good life and no reason to muck around in the mud due to Denise's disdain for her job. When I was Denise's age, I was in the Navy earning the money to put myself through college. That's why she is at BoJangles giving attitude to their customers, and I am not. So NO...I am NOT wasting my energy going back there to try and help Denise learn better life skills. I also realize that this generation have put up a shield against anyone speaking to their managers, and honestly, my life is too good to bother wending up on YouTube trying to help BoJangles out. So, instead of letting her manager handle it, as the system was set up to do...I am just going straight to YOU, the paying customers of the area. Stay away from this place, unless you want other people's bad choices ruining your morning. I don't want to get her fired. Denise can stay there, sucking up minimum wage and driving away their customers for the rest of her life. I don't care. No, I am content with telling you, the paying customers of the area...to stay the hell away from this joint. Just go to one of the other 5 fast food restaurants right there within ghat 1/2 mile. For fast food, they are actually pretty fast. Employees are friendly and courteous. Ample parking, Drive thru available. I am not a biscuit guy, but this is one place where I at least eat the crust and outside layer of biscuit, as it is fluffy and soft with a buttery flavor. The chicken is very moist and the coating is crunchy with a unique taste that does not leave an after taste like others. It is surprisingly not oily either. I also tried the roasted chicken bites which o have had before, but was not impressed this time. They were overdone, a bit burned and stale. Might have been sitting around awhile. The Cole slaw as a side is creamy and a great additive for chicken. Place was clean and had a steady lunch crowd inside and out. For the money and a quick bite, it's ok. read more

It was around 6:30 pm. Store number 000537. This Bojangles Restaurant has the most amazing staff!! The manager made sure that all of her customers were taken care of and was very hospitable. I purchased the Family 20 piece Jumbo meal with four sides. Everything was fresh and hot!! They even carried my order to my car!! I wish that I had gotten her name!! Made the mistake of visiting the Reynolda Road location for breakfast. I couldn't eat my biscuit because it seemed to have been sitting in water. I couldn't eat my grits because it was cold water with maybe a teaspoon of actual grits in the container. Worst experience ever !!!!!! Very slow and team members were not wearing masks, I was the only person in the drive thru and I waited for at least 15 minutes.

I ordered food through UberEats tonight. My food arrived cold, stale, tough and truly I would be scared to consume it. It is old, not fresh. My chocolate milk was missing. I ordered side items of dirty rice and potatoes and gravy which were not even registered in my order. The only item I can safely consume is the Sierra Fresh. I really want a full refund on my payment and order. Of course, Uber Eats customer service, is flying off in the wind. I have submitted a one-star review to them with full details. I have heard nothing back. On top of this all, this was a treat for me paid for by my daughter. I have told her already to dispute payment with her bank. read more

We have given this bojangles many many chances to be fair. They have not gotten our order right ANY of the times we have been there. Today, they left the egg off of a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit combo...so the sandwich is just bacon and cheese. In the past they have given us fries when we ordered bo-rounds, handed us sweet tea instead of lemonade...the list of mistakes goes on and on. By far the slowest and most unorganized bojangles I have ever eaten at. I was put on hold at the drive thru for around 5 minutes before my order was taken and have had this happen multiple times in the past at this location. The food is always subpar here compared to other restaurants in the bojangles chain and has been this way for the past 5 years since management changed. I have given this location chance, after chance, after chance and I give up! I have even filled out surveys and conversed with the district manager about the disorganization and quality of food at this location. Why have I given them numerous chances? Because Bojangles does have great food when you go to a location that cares about the quality they serve you. The Reynolda Rd location does not meet these expectations. It never fails that EVERY time you go through their drive-thru they mess something up with your order, give you old hard, over heated biscuits that are inedible, don't give you your change, don't give you a receipt on a credit card purchase, give you watered-down Cajun Pintos or watered down Dirty Rice, etc, etc. etc. Today, I was charged for a Grilled Chicken Club Combo through the drive thru...got home and guess what, I had a grilled chicken sandwich and paid a higher cost for a sandwich I didn't even get!
