I had a great experience here, I was in the middle of my work shift and wanted a quick breakfast, my work truck couldn't fit under the drive thru area so I had to park on the side of the road. I went inside and wanted for about 10 minutes or so when I ordered about 5 minutes prior to arriving. Piper who was serving customers with a smile said she would give me a free chicken mini for my wait which was a complete surprise because I understand food service and how things can get busy at times. I left and finished my day on a full stomach and will definitely return; not just because I like the food, but everyone inside seemed to enjoy what they were doing which is more rare these days! This is my go to Chick Fil A because I am always in this area. I have not seen the inside since it was renovated. I mostly use the drive thru because of the convenience of ordering ahead. I love their rewards system and it's a big draw for me. The drive thru is a lot quicker now and service is always on point. Line moves pretty quick and orders so far have always been correct. Today I had the spicy chicken on a pretzel bun sandwich and it did not disappoint. I was able to customize it and added more pickles. Waffle fries are always perfectly cooked. Their iced coffee is great and affordable! Employees are always friendly and that's also a big draw. I have never seen anyone with an attitude or having a bad day, at least if they were you could not notice. read more

I usually avoid Chick-fil-a like the plague - most locations are so busy that the drive- thru is a circus, and the lot is full of clowns! But I drove by this location about 10:45, and there was almost no one there, so I turned into the lot, parked, and scampered inside - well my version of scampered! This restaurant is setup to cater to drive-thru customers, and if you go inside you will likely have to wait longer than if you chose the drive-thru - my order took almost 10 minutes to be completed, and that was after someone showed up to take that order. Studies show that average time for drive-thru is 5 under minutes at Chick-fil-a. Well enough of that - I ordered the Spicy Deluxe Combo - still looking for a spicy chicken sandwich to top the BYO at Bad Daddy's. The sandwich was quite good, though on the mild side. I like Chick-fil-A's menu and service but this particular restaurant is terrible since they made renovations to the restaurant. Avoid it if you are in a hurry! The parking is a nightmare. There is one entrance with only two lanes for three options; option 1 = Mobile app, option 2 = drive thru, and option three = dine in... I think that they don't want people to dine in. You can't get in the parking if you want to dine in during rush hours... Then, the mobile app and drive thru lanes merge and creates a bottle neck. It is worse now than before the renovations. I spend 60 bucks a week here and usually do not complain, I even buy lunch here for my entire staff of 25 on weekends. This morning I received a delivery order from them and they actually left the chicken off my order. When I called and complained the manager on duty refused to fix the problem which made me a bit angry. I may have acted a bit rude to her for which I apologized, to which she would not accept, and actually hung up on me, again after I apologized. We are all people and make mistakes, but the mistakes here are almost every order ,and I have continued to support them. I am done now, I will no longer support this establishment. When you leave the chicken off an order that the main part of the dish is chicken is awful. When you don't give customers what they order, you are taking money for something not received. Well, since this one was renovated and they demolished the one (to renovate I assume) on Thru Way... it is nice and clean and clearly revamped to cater to drive thru. I admit i made the mistake of going into the Mobile Lane and had to wait to go all the way around and enter the line again, and that was frustrating. But that was on me. Great service, and nice and consistent with food. Very fast. I would like to just add a bit of commentary on the vibe inside. Everything is clean, sterile and updated (with automatic trash etc..). However, they still try to make it look country kitchen / homey. It's very... uncanny valley (can you use that to describe a fast food place?). Anyways, I digress - it's a Chick Fil A. The one start is for their service! I placed a Mobile order, thinking it would be just a little bit faster than ordering when I arrive. It wasn't busty at all and I was asked to pull up because my order wasn't ready, that's fine, no problem. BUT, 3 cars came AFTER me on the regular order line and they were served before me. Service was very slow for all, those 3 cars and of course for me! This is not the first time I come to this location and the service is much much slower than any other Chick fil a I've been! She said I had to go to register in case there was a charge to fix it. I offered to give her cash she basically said, " That is not my Job ". They usally are better than this. My pleasure to write this review for CFA! As far as fast food places go, I feel like CFA is overall the most consistent from my experience. Their food is the same quality across multiple locations, staff are kind, and the food is decent. The menu choices aren't terribly impressive, but the quality of the food is, particularly for fast food. I recommend the deluxe sandwich (I get the spicy), and the mac and cheese side is actually really good! Ordering via the app has always been an easy and accurate convenience, and I recommend redeeming your points for a free shake or a brownie for dessert. Another impressive item! Their sauces are available for purchase and worth doing so! This location in particular has a bit of a confusing layout for the drive up and parking, but I won't hold that against them. CFA is a reliable fast food experience because my order is typically accurate and the food quality seems to be consistent as well as the assembly of the sandwiches. I'm used to a scowl from my fast food workers too, so the smiles are a nice change of pace sometimes. I hope they keep the pimento chicken sandwich on the menu. That's a winner! read more

Honestly, this is the BEST run Chick-Fil-A, and I've been to many of them. Even when busy (they are always busy), everything is clean. They have a proper friendly staff of people eager to help and greet you with a smile. I've been to this location over 100 times. They go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant experience. Charlie, the older gentleman that goes around and cleans the store in the mornings, is especially friendly. He always is getting to know the regulars. He knew my name after only a few visits. The brand is famous for it's amazing chicken sandwiches, and there isn't much more in terms of why you wouldn't just come right in, and enjoy. The first time, they promised redeemable cards and never sent them, the second time they sent cards that were expired, and now today they simply said we'll send free biscuits to your app since it was a mobile order. Wow did not expect the poor service I received from Chick-fil-a today. The location was not busy when I arrived and one man was ahead of me. Took someone forever to acknowledge him and take his order. He wanted breakfast and they said they just stopped serving it. (If they would have acknowledged him we he walked up it would have still been during breakfast) It took 4 minutes and 11 seconds before I was even acknowledged myself. After eating I walked up to get a refill and know one offered to help. The manager was closer to the drive thru side doing something on his phone. Food was good but based off of the service I will not go back. Well tried the chick fila again on 1/14/2020 and disappointed yet again. Nuggets and fries were barely warm. I visited the Chick Fil A restaurant at 1925 Peace Haven Road in Winston Salem, NC today. I waited patiently in the long line to order gift cards for prizes for a holiday gathering only to be told that I could only order 3 in the line. I needed 4. I was instructed to park and come inside to purchase the fourth one if I really needed 4. I'm immunosuppressed and older, so I wont be going in any fast food restaurants full of people any time soon during the COVID crisis. This restaurant needs to have a better process in place for gift cards for immunosuppressed/older customers if it "holds up the drive thru line" as I was told. I should have driven to a different chain such as McDonalds to make my entire purchase, but I had already invested so much time in the drive thru that I went ahead and purchased 3 cards, then went to McDonalds and purchased my fourth card. I would have given 2 stars for the polite teenage employee responses, but the Coke Zero that I ordered tasted like the end of one fountain box or the beginning of a new box.... bitter and tasteless.
