We asked friends for recommendations for "regional favorites" to try while traveling through North Carolina and Bojangles was on the list, so we popped in for dinner on a Wednesday evening. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, so it took practically no time at all to order and receive our dine-in meal. The service was professional, and the food reasonably hot and tasty. The chicken reminded me of Popeyes, and the cole slaw of KFC. The fries were extremely well seasoned (to the point of almost being too salty for me, but my wife thought they were fine). The reason for the two star review, though, is that while eating I noticed there was a sticker of some sort on the bottom of the cole slaw container. When I was done, I turned it over to find that it was a freshness label - and that they had served me a container that was an hour past its stated "Use By" date/time. It tasted fine, and hopefully there's some sort of margin of error built into those "Use By" calculations. But based on this experience I don't think I'll be visiting this (or any other) Bojangles again. read more

This restaurant is located on Main Street in King NC. Over the last few years I have visited here a good number of times. Since the virus hit I eat here every week or two. I know times are hard right now but the service level needs a lot of improvement. They are always out of something or other. On this trip at the drive thru I ordered my food and drove up to the pickup window. After I paid they told me they were out of the ranch sauce I wanted. I had them check if they had given me the BBQ sauce. They did not. When my drinks came out, four of them, they said they had also run out of the drink carriers. My vehicle has only two cup holders. I had to balance the other two in one hand to get home. Management needs to do a better job of ordering supplies so the customer gets the items they need to enjoy their food. read more

First of all, I like and love Bo's Biscuits. I have been to this establsihment many times and never have been served bad food. I remember when it was on the other side of Hwy 52. It was good then too. The service is always good, I've never had to wait for a long time to get my orders filled. People are in too big of a hurry these days, slow down and enjoy life and your food. This store or restaurant will give you a 10% discount for your Military Service and I like that in any company especially a food service place. Bojangles is affordable and fills you up as much as you want. If Bo's would make a buscuit with a Fried piece of Pork Tenderloin on it they would take all of the business away from any fast food joint in King. Oh, and the restrooms are mostly clean in the beginning of the day, with so many patrons coming in to eat, they will get a little messy. I understand that and others probably do too. I went by this Biscuit Store this week and they have (2) Ham Buscuits for $5.00 and that my friend is a deal these days. Hot N Ready to eat. This restaurant is located on Main Street in King NC. I have been eating from this location for years. One warning would be that they have starting cooking french fries a different way. They do not taste bad but they do taste different. They are still a little slow getting your food order ready but that may be due to the number of new employees they have hired. I will still continue to eat here because I believe they will get better. read more

First time. It was good...very similar to popeyes. The biscuits were noteworthy. I had the dirty rice and it was pretty good too. Mu son had the tenders...nothing to write home about but not bad. Nothing was greasy and everything was freshly made. Coleslaw was good. read more

Drive thru and lobby were both closed so I called and they told me they don't open until 6. This store has enough staff to cover the business that they have. It is awesome to see this team working together to feed everyone in a timely matter! The food is always good, but sometimes it is really good! Yes, it's worth the time, even when the line is long. It will move at a good pace, it does take a little time, but very efficient. Went through the drive thru at 7pm on a Saturday night, when the food should be fresh. They got our order correct but the filet on my Cajun filet biscuit is the most pathetic I've ever gotten here and is dry as a bone. It looks and tastes like it's been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long. Portions on the fries were extremely small. read more

I love bojangles! It's my favorite restaurant fast food wise. But I have went 3 times in the past week. The first visit, I didn't receive a biscuit with my meal that comes with one. The second visit I got a 4 piece tender combo, and didn't receive not one tender in my box. The third visit my fries and biscuit were basically raw! I'm so disappointed in all of it. I called the first two visits and whoever answered the phone just said "come back now and we will replace it", didn't take my name or anything. read more

Let be begin by saying BJ is one of my favorite places to eat. I especially like the fried chicken and breakfast sandwiches. Having experienced BJ at several locations I can see some differences which are slightly irritating. The first example is the size of chicken breast with the dinner. When I order at the BJ near my home the chicken breast is huge. When I order away from home the breast is undersized. When you expect a large breast anything smaller is a disappointment. The next realization of BJ is their staff is not trained to the same standard. Several days ago I ordered 2 sausage egg and cheese biscuits from a unfamiliar location. The next morning I opened the sandwich to find 1/2 a sausage patty and same thing with the second sandwich. Looks like the staff did not prepare enough sausage to meet demand. They decided to sell half a product instead of telling the customer they only had enough sausage for one order. If the customer was involved they would reorder with a minor issue rather than discover they paid full price for 1/2 a sausage. The next day I went back to the location, spoke to the manager and received 2 free sandwiches. I love the breakfast sandwich and will continue to order it and the fried chicken but will be aware not all BJs are the same. read more
