I love that they offer a drive thru so it makes it even more convenient to pick up food! It's a low key casual vibe but with great food! I personally love the salads and the daily soup specials. Honestly you can't beat the prices either. I had an issue one time with an order and the Manager/Owner handled it immediately with such grace and professionalism! Bobo's is a solid 4 stars. I rounded up to 5 because this is a local establishment and the service is top notch. Bobo's has a lot of items on the menu from sandwiches, hot dogs salads, wraps, etc.. Also ice cream. The place isn't very big and gets slammed at lunch time. I try to get here closer to 11 (opening) to avoid the crowds. Food is pretty good. I love their Philly cheesesteak and sweet potato waffle fries. Inside and outside setting available. Highly recommend. read more

This is a great hidden spot on Robinhood Road I. The same parking lot as the YMCA. They have a great lunch menu and have a daily soup of the day special. You order at the counter and take the #to your table. They bring the meal to your table. Drinks are self serve fountain sodas, unsweetened & sweet tea. They also carry different flavored ice cream. Most orders come with your choice of standard sides like fries, sweet potato waffle fries, fruit, etc. my wife got a fish sandwich on pita. Decent sized fish, she loved it. I got the French Bo Dipper. It comes with a small cup of Au Jus that was the perfect dip for this sandwich. I also used it to dip my fries in. Overall it is a really cool little spot to relax and eat either inside at a booth or table or outside in the fresh air. Either way is relaxing. Employees are all friendly and attentive. read more

Apparently I've been sleeping on Bobo's. I called in a salad when I was on that side of Winston last week and went through the drive through to get it to go. The salad was delicious and loaded down with goodies. It was very fast service and I was in and out in no time. There are a few wraps on the menu that caught my eye as well so I'll have to go back for those. I got the green goddess dressing and it was very tasty. read more

On this visit I wanted to try an item that I'd never had here, the Italian Sub. There is ham, salami, pepperoni, melted smoked gouda, lettuce, tomato, onions. It is served hot on a toasted, 8"hoagie roll with Italian dressing. It comes with a side and goes for $11.29! I love Italian Subs, and have tried more than 2 dozen in the area. This is a solid sandwich, with a flavorful, crunchy roll that is well filled. While the meats are of decent quality, they do not meet the quality of some of the other such sandwiches in the area, and I felt the Italian dressing was on the weak side, not doing much to enhance the flavor. And even with a side (and it is a small side), the overall price is on the upper end of subs I feel are overall better. As built, the combination of the melted cheese and the Italian dressing makes this a rather messy sandwich - I would advise some care in consuming! We came here about 9am on a Saturday morning. We were looking to grab something to eat in the area and found this place in our bookmarks, so we thought we would finally check it out. This is a casual deli where you order and pay at the counter, have a seat and they bring the food to you. We went to the counter and decided to grab menus and sit at a nearby table to check out the menu. They offer a variety of sandwiches, burgers, salads, etc. We decided on our food and went back to the counter to order. The interior looks to be clean and well taken care of. We could not help but notice the similarities to another deli we frequent in Winston but after inquiring we were told they are only connected to another business in Kernersville. Our orders arrived quickly. My wife chose the Chef Salad and I ordered the Gus Burger with fries and both looked delicious. We both really enjoyed our meals but kept talking about trying their hot chips. So, my wife went and placed an order for them. They also arrived quickly and were tasty but the order was pretty small for two people. Maybe there are different sizes which we didn't ask about. There were many people coming and going, most were eating in but there was also a steady stream of people picking up takeout orders. I have eaten at this establishment at least once a month for work meetings or to grab a quick lunch. Today I was heartbroken as my boss was treated poorly by the cashier taking our order. We were in a large group and we all placed our order. I was first in line and explained to the cashier that we had a larger group of seven and that the man at the end will be paying for all of us. The cashier finally got to my boss who is ethnic and he was asked, "you're paying for all these people?!" After my boss responded that he was paying, the cashier looked at one of the older white gentleman in our group and asked him permission if the ethnic man was with our group and if he was the one paying. The older white gentleman had to reply to explain that our boss was part of our group and that he was the one paying for us all. My boss was very hurt and I was very angry for him. We will not be coming back to this place and will be telling our friends about this experience. read more

The bobo Philly I had was deliciously moist, cheesy, and filled with flavor. The sweet potato fries also went perfectly with that honey mustard sauce. For a casual and overall quick lunch I think this is a MUST know spot as it had and excellent menu that already has me wanting to go back to try more. I wish I lived across the street from Bobo's, but then I'd be overweight for sure. They have the perfect fries -- just perfectly crispy crinkle fries. I don't know why every restaurant doesn't have those fries. All of their food looks amazing, and I want to try it all. I had their BBQ chicken wrap and my friend had a burger. Absolute comfort food, done at its best and ready almost immediately. We got our food so rapidly. I took my brother and his girlfriend to lunch at Bobos for their Valentines Day. The service and food were excellent. My brother had the Bobos burger with fries and his girlfriend had the chicken tenders (she chose the 4 portion option) which came with fries and hush puppies and a really nice side salad. It looked so good that I went back to get a salad for myself. The chicken tenders were very large. They could easily be split between two people. She gave me a tender to go with my salad and gave one to my brother. They were delicious. I chose the Greek dressing for my salad which was composed of romaine lettuce, red onion, grated cheddar cheese, and grape tomatoes. I also ordered a side of onion rings (only $1) which was a good sized portion and nicely breaded and crunchy. I didn't try the dip which came with it. I had a sweet tea which was definitely Southern sweet. Overall I would go here regularly. Their prices were in line with most fast food places but with a nicer atmosphere. Last week was my first visit to Bobo's. It was highly recommended by several people, and did not disappoint. After a short line and quick service, I was able to enjoy a delicious gyro. The lamb was tender and juicy, and seasoned perfectly. And the Taziki sauce was fantastic. I went right at lunchtime and it was a little crowded but I was able to find a seat for myself pretty easily. I will definitely be back. read more

But, my last two orders through Doordash have had items missing, and when I called the restaurant this evening, they were unwilling to redeliver the missing items. Tonight the staff member I was speaking with abuptly huing up on me after telling me to contact Doordash to work it out. Doordash issued me a $13 credit to reorder the missing item, but it still ended up costing me $2 more on top of what if already paid just to get the order of fries I'd originally ordered. So, $8 for a small order of fries in addition to the original order. I've been a loyal Bobo's customer for years, but will not be ordering from them again, as the mistake was clearly theirs and they not only refused to deliver it, but were also rude and unwilling to admit the mistake. In need of a good salad and had not had a meal all day. Company from out of town & felt this was a great place to take them for a great salad and I was glad it did not disappoint. As always I love that they offer the option of having the salad in a Taco Shell, which makes it soo much more delicious ! We truly enjoyed our late "brunch". The service was great! He also got a chocolate chip cookie , which unfortunately he ate before I even had a chance to get a picture of. However, that tells you he truly enjoyed it. Our salads were deliciously fresh and quite filling. I had to bring half of mine (Bo-Cali Chicken Salad) home because I was unable to finish it. Underrated. Underrated. Underrated. I used to stop by here often to grab a salad to go after leaving the YMCA. They conveniently offer a drive thru window for takeout orders. I have done that probably 20 times and was satisfied with my experience every time. I LOVE their salads. And I am not a salad gal, ok? These salads are HUGE. And the prices are super reasonable. I really love the Bo-Cali Chicken which comes with greens, tomatoes, corn, avocado, cucumbers, bacon, pepper Jack, grilled onions and grilled chicken. Less than $13 for a huge portion. I have not done it but you can also get your salad in a tortilla shell. All their dressings are made in house and the best around. I love the different offerings like chipotle ranch, raspberry vinaigrette, and green goddess. You can add protein to any of the salads that don't come with it. On this visit, I decided to dine in. There are several picnic tables outside, but it was chilly so I went in. Very welcoming and cozy interior with plenty of space. Order at the counter. Staff is always great here. Never had a less than wonderful interaction. I decided to get the Jammin Dallas Burger and all expectations were crushed. This is a DOUBLE burger with pepper Jack cheese, avocado, bacon jam (made in house), and crispy onion straws. The burger was so juicy and all the toppings were great. It just worked. Maybe the populace at large might associate this saying with a popular widespread fried chicken-ery of note, but in western Winston-Salem, BoBo time means something entirely different. Bobo's Deli and Grill is a locally owned restaurant serving a variety of crowd-pleasing favorites, and in my experience doing it quite well. The menu is pretty simple, burgers, wraps, sandwiches, a few entrees... made fresh to order. You'd be hard pressed to bring even a picky eater here and have them find a reason to complain. One thing that is nice, is they have a sizable front patio for outside dining, which is nice to have in these strange COVID times. My most recent visit, I was craving a burger with a little spice, so I opted for the "Jammin Dallas Burger" featuring dual patties, pepper jack cheese, bacon jalapeno jam (!), fried onion straws, and avocado. Sounds great right? It was! As were the home made hot chips that came with it. The patty was cooked perfectly to my medium well order, the combo of the jack cheese and avocado is classic, the onions provided a nice crisp, while that bacon jalapeno jam added a little sweet kick! What a balancing act on this burger! This is definitely a place I will continue to return to, and would suggest you give it a try as well. read more

They are always busy when I go but that doesn't affect the quality or speed of service. My personal favorites are the salads and the burgers. The salad comes in a shell or without. They have so many different varieties. All of their dressings that I've tried are tasty but i love the ranch. My favorite burger is the Dallas burger it has a little bit of spice and some bacon jam to add a little sweet savory flavor. The fried onion strings are crispy and delicious. They have a great lunch menu, salads, sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, counter service where you order, and get your drinks, then you take your number and they bring your food to you. We both got the chicken souvlaki with fries. For $10, it was a good deal. Huge pita, stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomatoes and thin marinated chicken breast, with tzaziki and the French fries were great too. Very filling, neither of us finished it. I loved it and it chicken had great flavor. It was perfect. Apparently not a secret in this area of Robinhood Rd, as this place was busy ! Not a bad quick stop. The service is quick and the employees are cool and collected. Not going to lie, it's just pretty basic deli and grill food. I haven't tried anything that just makes me say "wow this is so good." I recommend you ask for French fry seasoning because they would just be pretty plain fries. I've eaten at Bobo's/Teddy G's too many times to count. I've worked my way through their salads, burgers, subs and fish platters. I'm not sure what else to try to muster up a 4-star visit. Everything always tastes bland to me. The Jamin' Dallas Burger left me disappointed even though the ingredients should have added up to a flavor bomb. The Bacon Mushroom Swiss burger with caramelized onions tasted so boring. There is no seasoning on the meat, and only the bacon added any flavor. I really want to love this local spot, but always feel like it comes up short. read more
