To start with before you go here, this is a diner so don't expect it to be something that it is not. Diners are great places to get good food, good service, and at a good price. We have had this on the list for a while and our friends live close to here and come here for breakfast so we decided to give it a go. There is parking in front and on the side, we walked in and were told we could sit anywhere, so we chose one of the booths. We looked over the menu they have breakfast on one menu and lunch on another. I decided on lunch and got a cheeseburger and fries and iced tea. My wife got a BLT fries and iced tea. The food came out quickly and my tea was filled again without having to be asked. My burger was juicy, the meat was cooked well and the bun was soft. The fries had just come out of the fryer and were tasty as well. Service was friendly and the cost was decent.

Simple little diner in rural Hall area near our home. We were told by friends to come check it out. I ordered the BLT and fries with unsweet iced tea. Fries were absolutely perfect, and a BLT was nice and simple with good bacon, a little on the over crispy side, but hey I didn't complain. Service was very friendly and the place was clean with local art spewed about. Not exciting.. but this place doesn't demand to be exciting, it's here to be dependable and none assuming. I would definitely come back for my blt and fries.

I wouldn't say the food is what makes this neighborhood diner worth stopping into, it's more so the affordable prices and friendly service that sells it, granting locals to return to it. I stopped by here to get a double burger to take out after buying an SUV in Walkertown. The girl upfront (pictured) not only took my order with a smile, she offered me a seat and then take-out menus when she learned I wanted just a burger to go. I, then, stepped outside to make some phone calls (and practice social-distancing, since it was packed with patrons dining indoors) and she brought my burger out to me in a bag. Very warm and friendly service! That, alone, will be why I return to try more of their food since I wasn't that impressed by the burger's bland taste but was impressed by the staff. I just hope that the next meal that I try here is actually SEASONED. Nothing is worse than food with no taste.

Decent food like you would expect, but nothing exceptional. Come here for a no frills experience.

This place was the Piedmont Café, and before that is was Don's BBQ. I ordered a Pita Burger with crispy fries, and it was $6.25. Instead of mayo on the burger, I got tzatziki sauce and it was very good. The waitress said most of the menu was homemade, and she said even the gravy for breakfast is homemade. I'll try this place again for sure. She also said the owner is Greek.

Place your order, pay and grab a seat, they will bring your food to you when its ready. We have tried several items off the menu and each has been good in its own right. Always freshly made and good flavor. The hummus and pita is simple and very tasty. The falafel wrap, simple traditional and freshly made is a hearty meal with great flavors and ingredients. The Spanakopita is also very traditionally prepared, simple and so tasty with yogurt dip on the side another good choice. The Chicken Souvlaki is also quiet flavorful, the chicken is grilled tender and nicely seasoned, served with your choice of side and yogurt dip with pita. Simple, traditionally made and good flavor. 3.5 Stars rounded up for the friendly service and consistent quality 01111

The meat is cut in thin, rectangular slices, indicating it is minced and molded into a rectangular shaped loaf and then cooked - it is definitely not shaved from a spit to order! This is much like that served at Mad Greek Grill in Kernersville and High Point. The pita was well filled, the vegetables were fresh, but the Gyro is about the meat and in several ways, the meat here simply didn't cut it. The taziki was very nice, in fact it was the best part of the item. Pretty sure this was my last visit.

We were running errands and in the general area of Olive Tree Deli when my wife recalled the original location is in Winston. We enjoy there newer Olive Tree Diner at the Colin Creek Golf Course in Mocksville. We decided to check it out and arrived close to 9:30 am. We both agreed the building looks like a former Taco Bell. There is adequate parking and it is easy to find. Although we only perused the breakfast menu, we saw the menu board behind the counter featuring lunch and dinner options. We both agreed we need to come back and check out the rest of the menu. We ended up ordering breakfast. The man at the counter was friendly and efficient. My wife ordered the 3-egg omelet with bacon, no cheese. She requested sliced tomatoes instead of potatoes and toast. I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a bun. The prices are extremely reasonable and the place appears to be clean and taken care of. We took a seat and there was a steady stream of customers. Our food took a bit to arrive and my wife was immediately underwhelmed with her food. Granted, the prices are very inexpensive, but the omelet was very small and simply underwhelming. She also felt the tomatoes were too ripe. The menu for lunch and dinner options sounded much more appealing to us. We decided we would be willing to come back and try again but not for breakfast. Also, we recommend not coming here with any expectation it is anything like the location in Mocksville. Our experience in Mocksville has always been great - completely different vibe.

The place seemed newly renovated and was in good shape but had relatively generic decorations. I opted for the gyro and found it to be pretty good and on par with other Greek restaurants in the area but nothing spectacular. I also had a side or fries which were fine but didn't have a ton of flavor and I found the crust to be off. All in all the food was good but nothing left a lasting impact. If I was craving Greek I could see myself trying them out again. All in allt he food
