This is a super cute little place that has great vegan options. I was able to chat with the Chef for a little bit and they do everything here with intention. The ambience and atmosphere is absolutely fantastic and if you have ever seen the movie birdcage this place replicates a scene out of the movie. There are feathers that are lights. There is tropical wallpaper. It has been done very well. I had an incredible salad and a cocktail with a friend and we sat on a patio with our dogs. What a great time I will be back for a happy hour very soon.

This place is amazing! Seriously delicious food, good cocktails, and great service. The space itself is cute and has a nice big patio. I ordered the Look at Your Pinky which is essentially an aperol spritz, and my group did the breakfast shot. Not my personal favorite but the bacon it comes with was cooked great. We split the chile lime street corn app which was good. I ordered the mojo tofu with a side of roasted squash. It was fantastic. The tofu was cooked perfectly, the sauces (pink sauce and cilantro cream) were delicious. The squash was perfect as well. I can't wait to come back!

Birdcage in Grant Park is a stylish Latin-inspired spot that brings energy, flavor, and creativity to the table. As someone who has dined across Latin America and reviewed everything from beachside ceviche shacks to white-linen restaurants, I was curious to see what this Atlanta location had to offer. It's clear this place knows who it is, and it leans into that identity with confidence. Food I started with the Citrus Adobo Chicken and a side of rice. It earns a strong 4 out of 5. The portion was generous for the price, which already gives it a leg up on many places in town. The chicken was tender and the citrus really popped when wrapped in the flour tortillas. That brightness carries the dish. The only area where it could be stronger is the seasoning. Both the chicken and rice were good, but with a little more punch they could have been great. The real standout was the Birdcage Cobb Salad. This is a true 5 out of 5. It's layered with romaine, bacon, tomato, egg, cucumber, red onion, Chihuahua cheese, and pickled radish. What ties it together is the pear and sour orange vinaigrette. It hits every note you want from a salad--rich, fresh, tangy, and balanced. Whether you're in the mood for something light or something full-flavored, this delivers in every season. I also tried the Shining Starina cocktail. It was a bit out of my usual lane with the ginger-forward flavor, so for me it was a 3 out of 5. It's alcohol-forward and has a sharp ginger and espresso kick. Not my go-to, but for guests who like bold, spirit-driven drinks, this could be a hit. Their drink menu is fun and ambitious with names like "Shot, Eat, Mango Thing" and "Agador Spartacus," showing they like to experiment without taking themselves too seriously. Ambiance Birdcage has a playful and polished look. The pastel tones, mosaic bar, and soft lighting make it feel inviting but elevated. It's got character without being overwhelming. The space is ideal for everything from a casual drink to a dressed-up dinner. It's got that flexible charm that works for different occasions. Service Service was excellent. We were taken care of by Gemma, the longest-standing member of the team, and she was a standout. She was warm, attentive, and clearly experienced. She moved with ease and confidence and made thoughtful recommendations without overselling. Her presence alone made the visit feel smoother and more personal. Final Take Birdcage is a place that respects the flavors it's inspired by and serves them with a fresh, local touch. Some items could use a touch more seasoning, but the overall experience is flavorful, balanced, and full of personality. The Birdcage Cobb is a must-order, the cocktails are creative, and the service ties it all together. Overall: 4.5 out of 5 It's worth the visit, whether you're a local or just passing through.

I recently visited Birdcage, a Cuban restaurant, and really enjoyed it! The atmosphere was thoughtfully designed and full of creative details--birdcages used as chandeliers and feathers in flower vases added a fun, elegant touch. Their drink menu is packed with unique options, making it hard to choose just one. I ended up going with the hibiscus margarita, and it was both refreshing and flavorful. For food, we ordered the birria quesadillas, black bean croquettes, sweet potato bravas and grilled squash--everything was absolutely delicious except for the potato bravas. Those were okay but other than that no complaints. Great vibe, great service, and great food. I'll definitely be back!

This place pulls you in with the cool esthetics. It's such a fun little spot. we went during lunch, it was slow and the service was good. The food was standard, I wasn't blown away but it was seasoned well and was filling.

Came here for ATL burger week which it was also Cinco De Mayo on a Monday. We got here at 6 before the rush, I could feel we got in right before the rush. They had a lot of staff, yet our server was rarely seen we were outside but I could see him standing behind the bar just hanging around. The food runners and bus boys were crushing it, to pay I just left my card out on the table and a food runner saw it, asked me "who is your server is it the white guy?" She seemed annoyed by him and knew he was slow, so the runner took my card to get it closed out. Their burger wasn't bad, but it was my least favorite of the 7 I tried that week. I like chorizo, but it overpowered the burger and that's all I could taste. We also had the special crawfish quesadilla, pretty good, just not that cheesy. We weren't getting drinks, but man are they expensive 15 dollars for regular drinks and 13 for non alcoholic. Those prices kind of irritate me. The ambience is pretty fun, like flamboyant Miami vibes. Bright colorful and fun. You can sit outside but the patio is no frills. Feel they could do something to make it a bit more welcoming, like flower boxes and table decor. I would try it again, I feel I didn't get their best that Monday of Cinco de mayo. I think a fun spot for young adults. Bottom line: really vibrant spot with good food and expensive drinks.

Agave Lime Ribs - Half

I am addicted to Firepit so I could not wait to try Birdcage. I visited on a week night. The service was fast, it was not crowded, and the ambiance was gorgeous. The star of the show for me were the crab claws along with the street corn dip and plantains. The garlic sauce with the crab claws were amazing, we even kept the sauce to use for other dishes! The tortillas that came with the street corn had the perfect amount of salt and crunch. Finally, the flaky salt on the plantains were incredible. I had the agave lime ribs and enjoyed them throughly. They were tender and flavorful. I'd prefer if they were a little crispy but that's just personal preference. I am not a spicy margarita girl typically but Birdcage got it right. My hubby had the steak and was just ok. We enjoyed the fish tacos and our friend had a salad that looked incredible. I cannot wait to return for more crab claws and try the brunch one day. See you soon Birdcage!

Fun, open little spot. Great location, small parking lot. The food is very flavorful with a ton of excellent vegetarian options! This was our first time here but we'd love to go back & try a few other dishes! The staff were very friendly as well!

Came in for drinks and an appetizer. The elote dip was different, and I would've preferred more corn in it. Brunch deals were okay but nothing stuck out that I must order. Very sunny and cute within the space. Very friendly staff and quick service

Really great food and ambiance. Staff is always really nice too. Also the ribs are huge if youre wondering, even the half size is still huge!

So so good. Flavors were good, meat was cooked to order. Shrimp was tender. Service was good. Vibes were rolling, even though the frozen drink wasn't -- we still had a great experience and def want to go back.

NEED to go back and try EVERYTHING! Yall. This place has everything that you'd want. Parking: there is a lot and street parking. Had no issues. Vibes: stunning funky interior with a great cozy patio. Neon, wallpaper, and feathers are a feature. Service: good, pretty attentive Food: ok wow. This all spoke for itself...still dreaming of the steak Jalapeño poppers: perfectly fried, EXTREMELY creamy, low spice, great flavor Ribs: my friend had the ribs and the bone slid right off. So flavorful and juicy. Steak: unbelievable. Flavorful. Perfectly cooked. I couldn't get enough. The sauces weren't even needed but were equally delicious. I cannot wait to get this again! Rice beans and plantains: fresh, flavorful, and perfectly paired to our entrees. We shared all three and that was more than enough for 2 people. Overall incredible experience and I want to try it all!

Chicken crunchwrap special
Nisha B.

I came to this place after a visit to one of the Oakland cemetery festivals. It was within walking distance and had a patio that was dog friendly so we thought why not. I was very pleased by the menu options and the overall ambience was very relaxed and cute. I ordered the fruit parfait, which is on the brunch menu and one of the specials, the chicken crunch wrap. The fruit bowl was nothing really to rave about, I thought that the queso that came with that was a bit too cheesy and didn't blend well with the fruit. I tried the crunchwrap and it felt very heavy and greasy. It was loaded with cheese and it just had a very oily consistency. I may be back just for the vibe if I'm in the area but probably not the food.

Great atmosphere, service and food. The steak and shrimp are wonderful, and the bartender is a total smoke show. Makes a mean dirty martini.

The food was fresh and flavorful, but still a salad. The salad I tried was exactly what I hoped for in terms of quality and taste, but it did seem like it was thrown together pretty hastily in the back during the lunch rush. I The biggest drawback for me is the pricing. While I understand that fresh and high-quality ingredients come at a cost, the portions and price point feel a little steep for what you get. The service was cool. The girl helping me was upfront and hilarious. She flat out told me she doesn't even like greens, so she wasn't recommending anything with kale in it. I respect the honesty, but I also feel like maybe we should have people making the smoothies who actually care if they taste good. Just saying. I grabbed the Powerhouse Smoothie. It sounds elite with avocado, blueberries, strawberries, cherries, cashews, flax seeds, almond milk, and vegan protein. The ingredients? Perfect. The execution? Ehh, solid 4 out of 5. It'll fuel your day but let's not pretend it tasted amazing. I felt healthy but also lowkey like I was being punished for wanting gains. The menu overall is stacked though: * Açaí bowls and oats for that island breakfast vibe * Cold-pressed juices that scream "I care about my organs" * Poke bowls, salads, wraps, sandwiches, healthy shots, specialty drinks The place gives upscale, health-focused energy. You could be in LA, Miami, or the Amalfi Coast but you're right here trying to level up. Five out of five for the spot overall. Service, ambiance, menu variety.
