The atmosphere of this establishment explodes of sex appeal. Our waiter was on point and made sure we received our drinks, and entrees quickly.

I stopped into my neighborhood Thai restaurant for dinner one evening, and EAV Thai and Sushi continues to be a go to. This place is always a vibe. The music is consistently good, and the lighting and overall ambience are easily a 10 out of 10. They also serve some of the best cocktails I have had at a Thai restaurant. I started with the spring rolls, which are always delicious and a solid appetizer choice. For my drink, I ordered the lychee martini, which never disappoints and is perfectly balanced. This visit, I decided to try something different and ordered the Pad See U. It was absolutely amazing. The food arrived hot, well seasoned, and the portion size was generous. Every bite was satisfying. If you are looking for a great Thai spot with strong drinks, good music, and consistently good food, EAV Thai and Sushi is definitely worth a visit.

We've been here twice and both times I've had very good dishes. The first time I ordered the spicy basil chicken fried rice with the egg on top. Second time we had the spring rolls, chicken and pork fried rice but I'm 99% sure there wasn't any pork in the fried rice unless the chicken and pork look the exact same soooooooo...... still good though.

Let's talk about EAV That & Sushi real quick. I've never really been a Thai food eater. I'll eat it if that's what the majority wants but I've never been the one to have to have it. Baby listen, EAV That & Sushi has me in a choke hold as the food is AMAZNG!!!! We were in the area as Shaunie said it is one of her favorite places to go, as such, we went. Walking in, the ambiance is really low key and has a great feel to it. It's perfect for friends, dates, or even alone. After we walked in we were able to be seated immediately. Continuing to take in the ambiance, the feel was so chill. There was a game on each television and the music was playing in the background. Yep, I'm here for all of this. Upon taking our seats, I ordered a sweet tea and began to scroll the menu. Taking a moment to take in the menu as there are an abundance of options, I decided on the Spring Rolls as an Appetizer and Pad Thai as my Main Course. Clearly I played it safe. From seating us to taking out drink and food orders, our waiter was super nice. He was professional, very educated on the menu offerings and kept a smile the entire time. Not to mention, we weren't his only table yet he was on top of his game and provided top tier service. Once my food came I was immediately drawn into the aroma. The Thai Spices mixed with the Sweet smells of the sauce made me extra happy inside. LoL. The Spring Rolls were good. They were crunchy loo Upon first bite I almost melted. Whew! I have NEVER in all my years had a Pad Thai this amazing. I'm talking about perfectly cooked noodles. Optimum noodle to meat to sauce ratio. And best of all, the peanuts were coated in the sauce and not only acted as the extra layer of texture, but their flavor profile was enhanced which allowed the dish to have a multi-flavor blend of sweet, salty, and nutty. Omggggggg. I want moreeeeeeeeee. The dish arrived hot and was very fresh. This wasn't no quick boil or reheated dish, no. This was freshly made when I ordered it and whoever the chef was is amazing at their job. Dear Chef, your ability to cook Pad Thai is beyond normal. Your supernatural flavor elevated dish was exciting, mouth pleasing, and has made me eager to return to EAV That & Sushi. If you're in the area and ready to eat, you can not go wrong with EAV That & Sushi.

Decent place if you're in the area and want a chill vibe and some sushi. My sushi roll which I forgot to take a picture of was delicious as well as the wings. I wasn't a fan of the calamari. My cousin ordered fried rice and we never got it. I also didn't like my espresso martini which I ordered before I ended up going with the lychee, and the lychee martini wasn't amazing either. I won't rush to return but if I'm just in the area I would probably try again it's decent if you need food on your stomach for alcohol.

The parking was easy - paid street parking right outside. Everyone was super nice. I haven't had a lot of Thai food & the cashier was super kind to explain the items to me, and not make me feel dumb! lol. The vibe was great, I sat at the bar and was able to watch some other game highlights. Then the food was delicious. I got the pad-see-ew with the chicken skewers. Really impressive flavor. Made me a little more confident that Downtown Atlanta might be on the rise!

This is gonna be a long one because this place took me for a ride. I hate to sound like but this is…read morea restaurant you'd like only if you've never ventured to NE ATL/BuHi/Norcross for the real bangers. It gives... tourist trap? I have never in my life had Americanized Thai food (or at least been conscience of it) but this tasted every bit of that. Not a single Thai national or descendant cooking or dining in here... I should have slid out the door upon noticing this but we were HONGRY and this place was walking distance. I appreciate the big portions to help alleviate the hunger, but the food going down wasn't even close to a real Thai experience. And the general ambience was definitely off. It's unclear whether this is a casual to-go spot or a sit-down spot or a bar. The service here was confusing. You have to order drinks separately from your food, for one. Secondly, it took a solid 10 minutes for a bartender to walk behind the bar and begrudgingly explain to me what they have available. I would have ordered more but her attitude made me close the tab after one beer. We didn't get served water until after we received our food, a solid 15-20 min after being in the restaurant. It generally felt like no one wanted to be there, and the staff were just moving independently to complete tasks instead of creating a dining experience *together*. There was not a smile from a single person I interacted with. I'd most likely not return purely because the dining experience is just plain out uncomfortable. On to the food. Mostly oil and noodles except for the papaya salad, which was... okay. Again, big portions. Nice heat. But just okay. The whole cherry tomatoes on top were a little weird and screamed laziness. The tofu kee mao was... okay. Same for the chicken pad thai. Lots of oil. This food made us feel pretty tired after eating it, which I've rarely experienced eating Thai cuisine. And they were very, very stingy with the protein. My husband counted 4-5 little slivers of chicken and hella noodles. The same was true for my tofu dish. I mean... it's tofu y'all. Cheap. But I can imagine they have to cut these corners because there were about 8 staff members running around in a small space with only a few customers in for happy hour. They do have HH deals on drinks depending on the day, but I found the drinks to be overpriced and not worth it. Especially the beer. And a $10 non-alcoholic cocktail is wild imo, especially for the scanty area this area is in. They are certainly milking the fact that they are in eyeshot of the Mercedes Benz stadium. The inside is beautiful and very ~trendy~ and honestly that tells me exactly where the focus is. I'd rate this a 2, but I'm adding a star for the spotless restrooms.

I wasn't expecting much from this place but it was the perfect gem. I wasn't expecting much able to make a last minute reservation online and we were seated immediately. The waiter was professional and so friendly--he literally knew every little thing about each dish. He provided some great recommendations and we decided to order the lobster crawfish wontons, the crispy beef, the drunken noodle with scallops and lobster tail, and the sticky ribs. I easily could have eaten all the wontons myself and the drunken noodles came large lobster tails and plenty of scallops. I ate these so fast that I forgot to take a picture. The crispy beef was a little bit on the sweeter side but it was the perfect amount of crunch and sauce that paired well with the vegetables and jasmine rice. I also really enjoyed the ribs--they were very tender and flavorful. It came with collard greens which I didn't enjoy as much but the other dishes were so good and I ate so much that I didn't mind. I also saw plenty of couples celebrating milestones together so it definitely makes for a cute night out if you're in the area looking to have a nice dinner with your partner. I hope to be back to Atlanta soon so that I can indulge again.

I was walking around that area and I happened to go into this spot because I hadn't seen it before…read more I have no complaints or any issues with it but I only really came for the bar and I didn't actually try any food. I can only give so much of a perspective on it but even though that is said I still had a good experience . The place itself is bigger than what you would see from the outside and it's decorated very well so it would be good for maybe an intimate night or a close friend night or a date night kind of situation. It's not something you would do for a sports bar kind of vibe . In the location you already know that you have to worry about paying for parking so just keep that in mind. The parking in the structure on the other side of the building isn't so bad so you could easily just park someplace else and walk across the bridge. It's not going to break the pocket lol . The bar was very clean and the service there was friendly and I have no complaints about that . Chili honey old fashioned - this was a really good and flavorful drink. I like the way they mixed the flavor profiles together and it really helps it out. It's not as spicy or as peppery as I would have liked but that's probably by design. You have more sweet than it does spicy because it's supposed to be an old-fashioned at the end of the day . That indoor and outdoor seating. So if it's a good day, you could at least sit outside on the patio area and a lot of that area is indoor and outdoor so you have plenty of options as far as that goes. The restaurant is really nice and very clean and it will definitely get my attention because I saw some food there that looked like I can eat lol. I got all positive vibes so I have no complaints.

I was very excited to try this place, as it's been hard finding good Thai food in Metro Atlanta…read more Everything about my experience was just ok. It wasn't clear that parking is validated if you pay at one of the stalls using the QR code. The restaurant was fairly quiet and empty when we arrived, and we had a reservation. We were seated directly next to the kitchen where it was loud and noisy, which was an interesting choice since there were so many empty tables everywhere else. The food was just ok in my opinion. The best thing we ate was the appetizer, which was the crab curry vermicelli bites. It was delicious and flavorful. For main entrees, we ordered pad see ew and pad woon sen, both with chicken. Both were very underwhelming. The flavor profile just wasn't there in my opinion. We asked for three stars of spicy, and the pad woon sen came out with red tinted noodles and extra sauce on the side, which tasted like it was supposed to be hot sauce? It's hard to describe, but the noodles tasted superficially spicy if that makes sense. It tasted like they flavored it to look spicy, but it wasn't spicy in the traditional sense. There were no chili flakes or oils that were incorporated into the dish and it wasn't offered as a side, which is typically my experience at Thai restaurants. The portions were also relatively small for their price tags in my opinion. Two entrees and one appetizer (no drinks) ended up being in the $80s. Also for being an "upscale" Thai restaurant, more authentic touches would have been nice. For example, chopsticks weren't offered at the table when we were seated or when they brought our food out. We had to flag down our waiter and had to specifically request it, and we got disposable chopsticks. Again, not a huge deal, but in my experience at upscale Thai restaurants, they usually offer proper, reusable chopsticks along with other silverware. Overall, this place was a miss for me, given the flavors and the food for the cost.

The decor, especially the service, is very on point. All the servers were friendly and attentive. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with Thai cultural artifacts, and there's also a backdrop of umbrellas at the entrance that makes for a nice photo spot. The food, however, was a bit hit-or-miss for me. Most of the dishes were a little too heavily seasoned, too sweet, or too salty for my taste. My boyfriend enjoyed the food more than I did. My palate tends to lean toward lighter flavors. The food was good overall. Nothing to complain about, but nothing really stood out as amazing either. We had: - Strawberry Creamy Mocktail: a bit too syrupy for me. - Black Mussels: the mussels were a little dry and didn't taste very fresh. The dish was also too salty for my taste. - Fried Gyoza - Satay Chicken - Tiger Prawns & Scallops - Roti Bread: we ordered this as a side without curry. - Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. Overall, it's a nice place with really good service and beautiful decor. Although the food didn't quite work for my palate, it will probably suit people who enjoy stronger and more heavily seasoned flavors. I would still recommend giving it a try, especially for the atmosphere and excellent service.
