2007 Mini Cooper taken to them to diagnose problem. After explaining the symptoms, the tech said that the engine needs replaced. He didn't listen to the car run, didn't review any codes, never moved from the spot he was seated. Tech said that he has 3 others in the back that also need engines. Took mine to another shop that took the time to explore what could be going on. Had car for a week, repairs done and now driving again "with the same engine". I went back to Freddy today for a consultation. Once again he has assured me that he provides excellent, honest service. Again, my problem didn't require much , but I witnessed a consultation he gave to another customer. Freddy laid out the options well and was completely understanding of the customer. I over heard another brief consult where he illustrated that he approaches mechanical problems logically rather than just throwing parts and labor ($$$) at a car hoping it fixes it. My wife's 2013 BMW is a great car, but it's a few years old and the electronics are not quite as good as my son's Hyundai (Apple CarPlay, big screen...) If you've ever had a wife, I'm sure you understand that a situation like this is only tenable for so long before your wife is going to want a new car. When I found out that Bimmers Only can mod her car and upgrade her electronics to include wireless CarPlay, I knew it could solve some big problems for me. I made an appointment, left it with Jesse for a day, picked it up and it has been amazing. Perfect integration, it's like a brand new car. Turn it on, CarPlay pops up, phone usually already knows where we're going, already knows what music I want to listen to...it just works. Either way, I've been using Bimmer for 2 years for servicing, repairs & modifications to my '03 Wagon. Freddy really understands BMWs and is very savvy with the computer diagnostics. Excellently done. I had a air bag error on a 750 that they quickly diagnosed with no charge. I also had them update the cars software to include some new features. Very knowledgeable about everything BMW. They schedule appointments on Saturdays and provide pickup and dropoff. The repair was made quickly and accurately and the cost for the repair was significantly less then a dealer. An important benefit also is you speak directly with the person repairing your car. They focus on BMWs and are very knowledgeable about the the car. An important service they also provide is that they also worked directly with the 3rd party warranty company to verify coverage and to bill them directly. They provide routine maintenance as well as repair and Ill be using them from now on for all my repair and maintenance work on the 750. read more

I would definitely recommend Freddie at Bimmer Motor Werks as an alternative to overpriced dealership service! I just took in my 2006 330i for a new xenon headlight and a brake flush. Great prices, super friendly service, straightforward and honest! He let me know a few things he recommended that I get done sooner than later but did not try to upsell me at all. He reset a couple of my indicator lights that were not reset during my last oil change elsewhere. I took my car in at 12:30 on my lunch break and had it back that evening. His labor rates are a fraction of what the dealership charges and he will use OEM or aftermarket products based on your preference. Everything was easy and painless, which is more than I could ask for in a mechanic. Freddie even honored a coupon I mentioned over the phone but forgot to print out and bring. Yay! read more

Honest, dependable, thorough and passionate about what they do - I am not sure if I've had a better experience. For what it's worth, I have a 2007 5-Series. Last week, I drove up from Austin on business and when I pulled into my hotel, the valet asked "what's wrong with your car?!!!!" From his expression, I halfway expected to find a body on my bumper. He indicated that he heard a loud grinding noise as I came to a stop on the roundabout. I immediately attempted to replicate the noise and did not hear anything significant. Nonetheless, I wasn't comfortable driving it further without having it checked out. Not knowing anyone in Dallas other than the dealerships, I was compelled by all of the positive feedback on Bimmer Motor Werks. I brought it by the following morning and asked that they check it out. Lenny indicated that it likely slipped on the slick brick surface which could have affected the braking, thus causing the noise. They gave it a full inspection and 24 hours later, they advised that it was in perfect working order. Further, they charged me next to nothing to inspect the car. Over a week later (and following the return trip to Austin), it continues to run perfectly. If I lived in Dallas, I would not think of taking my business elsewhere. First of all, thank you Bimmer Motor Werks! I just purchased a 2010 BMW 328i Coupe, and had very little information on the car. I emailed the main email on the website, and Lenny responded to me. I did a lot of research, because I wanted a place I could trust. I dropped my car off for the lamp out light being displayed, LED lights I couldn't get to smoothly go in, and a pre purchase inspection (just to make sure all is good). From the moment I started talking to Lenny, I could tell he knew what he was doing. Very nice guy, and did something most places wouldn't. I had no knowledge that the previous owner purchased two coverages, that are still good for two years, or 35k miles. He not only told me, but he printed the information out, and gave me a card to BMW nearby, because my service is free, and mechanical parts replaced are a $50 deductible.... Talk about sweet! As he said, and I came to find out, I scored on this car. I truly appreciate he was honest, because that's money he could essentially lose. After those few fixes, and being very reasonable on price, they can still count on me coming back, even though I have warranty. I already have, and will continue to recommend them. IF YOU OWN A BMW GO TO BIMMER MOTOR WERKS! That's my advice. I'm glad I did, and I appreciate how I was handled, from start to finish. I rarely write reviews, and when I do, they are typically negative. This is not one of those reviews. I recently purchased a low mileage 2006 M5 in Dallas, TX (I live in Austin). I was up there visiting my son, and on the way back I got in an accident on the freeway. My car took a hit on the passenger side wheel, causing a significant amount of damage to the rear suspension. It was pretty devastating for me given that I was still riding the sugar high of my recent purchase. Being that I live in Austin, I had to find a reputable shop to take care of my high end BMW up in Dallas. I came across Bimmer Moter Werks through the regional M5 board, and it was the best decision I could have made in this process. Progressive wanted for me to go with one of their recommended shops, but the fact that I drive an M5 made that an impossibility for me. Lenny was wonderful to work with, and the repair was done perfectly. To be honest, the car looks and drives better than it did when I bought the car! The repair took a while, but Lenny set the expectations at the beginning of the process, and let me know what was happening along the way. If this shop was in Austin, I would be 100% loyal. You cant go wrong with these guys, and you can trust your bimmer with them any time. Steer clear of the "stealership" and go to the dealer alternative, Bimmer Motor Werks! read more
