Great experience in a rustic spot. . Friendly staff. Good food. Awesome super-size pancake.

Disappointing. It serves breakfast lunch and brunch. The menu is similar to that of a Waffle House with a few extras thrown in. I had the Ultimate Fried Bologna sandwich. If that's there idea of thick cut they need to re-evaluate. I've had thicker Oscar Meyer bologna. It was ok but not worth the $14.99 Everything was standard greasy diner fare and nothing stood out from the burgers to the salads we ordered. If it was priced correctly I would have a different opinion but your money can be put towards better meals elsewhere. The atmosphere is nice and well done and our service was fine. But beyond that , don't believe the hype. it's not worth driving out of your way to get to. read more

Stopped into this place because it was highly recommended by several people. It was a Saturday morning and place was jammed packed. As we waited for a table, I noticed one of the cooks on his phone and holding it with his food safety glove. He was cooking and then switching his phone between hands. He was grabbing plates from the pass (with his glove that was all over his phone) and putting more food on it. I was completely grossed out by the lack of proper hygiene--we ended up leaving. Most individuals don't clean their phones and should take better precautions when in food environment. Phones go with us in bathrooms, dirty stores, and are filled with a bunch of bacteria. Barf. read more

This was the first time we have eaten here. We saw that it had good reviews on Yelp. They weren't wrong. I believe I had standard bacon, eggs, potatoes and biscuits and gravy. It was very good and I apologize but I neglected to snap some pics. However, it was because I was so distracted by my neighbors 14" pancake (of which I did snap a pic). The staff was very friendly: food was delicious: and service was good. The place was crowded but went by quickly. We would definitely recommend this restaurant. read more

Food was excellent and abundant. Service was attentive and friendly. Ambiance was rustic and expected. Highly recommend, this a must if in Branson. SO MUCH FOOD! A must try!!!!! read more

This place is cool on the inside and the staff was friendly. The food didn't take long but came out barely warm. French toast was almost all crust and had no flavor. Same with the eggs. The hashbrowns were cold and crunchy on top. I had to pull off the hard top layer to get anything soft to eat. My kids did like the 14 inch pancake but it's wasteful. Not at all happy. read more

YUMMY!!!!! Go here and get some breakfast! We had the huge pancakes with bacon, eggs and sausage. The sausage was really good also. The others got the shrimp, catfish and chicken basket and she loved it! It was also a lot of food! read more

First time at this location. Plenty of parking and seating. The ambiance was just like you'd expect, if you've been before. If not, think comfort food on steroids. We went on a Saturday morning and were seated right away. Ordered our food, and it was quickly delivered. My wife got the Sloppy Biscuit, and I got the Chicken Fried Steak breakfast. Both were great. As usual. Portion size was HUGE, and for the price you can't go wrong. We've never had a bad experience, or a bad menu choice. My only complaint is on my iced tea refill, the waitress brought back sweet tea, which I'm convinced is poison. I had plenty of water though, and was already stuffed, so no harm. read more

Food was excellent. The decor is very upscale Cracker Barrel and as we were tourists traveling thru, that was fine with us. As for service, Patience was perfection as were everyone we came in contact with. A great staff. read more

Overall, it was a great experience. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting. The server was amiable and attentive. I have to say I would have given the wings a 10/10, but they were slightly overcooked in some spots. But they get a 9/10. I travel a lot tasting different wings, and they were definitely in the top 3. Great job! read more

The food was good, great portions for your money. Most dishes can be split for two! Service is iffy, with some waitstaff on it and great and others all over with no drink refills or forgetting your order of okra etc. honestly we will go back, but service needs to improve! read more

Three adults and a toddler - the plate size pancake was DELICIOUS, the biscuits and gravy were a little bland and tasted too much like wet flour, hash browns were CRISP (borderline burnt) on the outside and if they wouldn't have been lukewarm I would say RAW on the inside in addition to the greasy butter taste, scrambled eggs were crusty not light and fluffy and to top it off THEY DONT HAVE HOT TEA!!! You can get iced tea either sweet or unsweetened but not hot - we were told it wasn't the season ‍ - what does that mean? They have HOT coffee why not HOT tea? Our server was super nice and felt bad because she couldn't even warm up the already made iced tea so my friend could have her hot tea VERY disappointed and will not return read more

Food was delish! Service was great! Pancake was really good and I really wasn't expecting it to be that good. Bloody Mary and Billy's Relaxer were both great too. All of us loved our food and we also got an order of Million Dollar Bacon to share as a table and it was great. We had zero complaints and would go there again! read more

The 30-minute wait to be seated was well worth it. Donnie, our waiter was speedy & so congenial. I had the pork chop dinner (3 chops!) fried okra (still firm, hot and flavorful) green beans (tender, yet beautiful green color - how do they do that?) Another friend had the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy & green beans; someone else had the 'Garbage Burger' which was very tall & came topped with an egg, and the tenderloin was close to a foot in diameter, and the fries-oh, my goodness! We all agreed that we'd be happy eating 3 meals a day there. read more

I have nothing negative to say about Billy Gail's! My family and I visited Branson and drove straight there when we got to town. The food, service, ambiance, etc. were all excellent. My husband and son even went back the next day! We can't wait to visit Branson & Billy Gail's again. read more

Finally got to try this restaurant to see what it was all about. Got there about 7:30 for dinner and no waiting. I got the 4 piece fried chicken with beans , cole slaw and mashed potatoes. Chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, but was kind of bland . Mashed potatoes and green beans were good . The cole slaw was a different story. I never had cole slaw that sweet before . So sweet , I could feel the crunch of the sugar granules in my mouth. I prefer the tangy, vinegary cole slaw. The service was good, though. read more

Food is delicious and gigantic portions. If you get the pancake, be prepared to share with the whole family. It's about the size of a pizza box. Crazy! My family and I come here every time we visit Branson and will continue to do so! Service is top notch and the environment is moving! It's a busy place, but that's because it's a great place to eat with the family! read more

I have eaten (tried to eat) twice and had to leave after just a few bites. The first meal I tried to eat was chicken fried steak. The breading was more than twice as thick as the steak so I scraped off breading to find a steak that was uneatable. I forgot what I had the second time, but after an unreasonable amount of time waiting for my food it arrived cold. I let the waiter know both times what my issue was and was handed the bill with no attempt to remedy the issues. I will never return! read more

Food was bomb and we had the best server we've had in this town in a long time! Lindley was awesome and took excellent care of us!

The service was great and the food was good. We loved all the no rhyme or reason decor but it still was put together well and went with the country feel. We ate mostly lunch but would be willing to visit again for breakfast. The burger was amazing and the fried shrimp had a great flavor. The fries are not home made so I was a little disappointed there but still was worth the visit and would visit again! read more

Great food & service, large portion sized - could feed an army with my order and was reasonably priced

We went for breakfast and it was so busy we decided to come another day. We went back in the middle of the week and got seated right away. The waitress took a long time to come ask for our drinks so we gave her our food order as well. The food came out quickly but it was not what we expected. A huge plate of piled up home fried potatoes with bacon mixed in topped with two over medium eggs. We ate the eggs and a little of the potato/bacon mix and called it a day. I would say the saying bigger is always better is not always correct. The potatoes were bland and the bacon pieces were overcooked. I would not go back for lunch or dinner since our breakfast was uneventful. I will say this, a lot of people ate there! The line was long when we left. read more

Very nice vibe here. The cat fish breakfast was great, and my girl got the breakfast burrito and it was huge.

Wonderful! Everything we had was great. We were a big part of 10 and everyone walked full and happy!

It was clean, the food was good, very large portions, you can easily split something. The service wasn't great, we felt rushed, even though the place wasn't super busy. Maybe the waitress was having a bad day, but she wasn't in the mood to chat or give suggestions. W We had an omelet (overflowing with bacon), the kids tried the French toast and really like it. read more
