Pancakes are exceptional. Size of a car tire! Burger was very good. Always excellent place to go when in Branson.

Food is delicious and gigantic portions. If you get the pancake, be prepared to share with the whole family. It's about the size of a pizza box. Crazy! We went to Billy Gails for breakfast. To me it was ok. The portions were huge. I got the sloppy biscuit with hasbrowns my food came out warm not hot just warm. They messed up and my husband's meal didn't come out until I was completely done eating. Part of his meal was hot and some was just warm. I think they have some stuff pre-made and kinda just sits there. Just my opinion but didn't seem to live up to the hype. read more

We went to the Gretna Rd location for dinner at 5pm on a Saturday. We waited a long time for our food and when it was finally delivered to us our food was way over cooked. We brought friends with us who had never eaten at Billy Gail's before and we had talked it up a bunch. We were disappointed and a little embarrassed that we suggested this location. It was clean, the food was good, very large portions, you can easily split something. The service wasn't great, we felt rushed, even though the place wasn't super busy. My husband and I tried Billy Gail's on our recent trip to Branson. There was a wait to get in but it was well worth it. When we got there we were greeted by hosting staff who were doing a great job with a friendly welcome and great organization. We waited maybe thirty minutes to get in. Once in, we were greeted promptly by our server. My husband ordered the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy plus slaw. He was supposed to get a roll but they said they were out and brought him a biscuit instead. He was actually really happy with that. I had the catfish with mashed potatoes and gravy, slaw, and two huge hush puppies. All the food was delicious. My husband is like a fried chicken connoisseur so for him to say it was great means a lot. The aesthetic of the place is country and outdoorsy decor. We can't wait to go back on our next trip to Branson. Highly recommend! read more

We randomly chose Billy Gail's for breakfast, knowing nothing but what we saw online. It was an unexpected pleasure. The server, Celeste, was friendly, the food was fresh and delicious, and the portion was positively HUGE. No. Just no. For a place that specializes in breakfast, this was miserable. My eggs (ordered over medium) were so undercooked the whites were not cooked. The hash was stone cold (but my plate was warm). Maybe they make the pancakes, but nothing else on the plates at our table was made in house. I saw a few lousy reviews and thought maybe they were just an off day, but this really was awful. At McDonalds the food would have been the same quality and it would have been hot. My server was polite enough but didn't care at all about the undercooked eggs or plate of completely untouched food. She did offer a refill on my drink. The space was kitsch. No complaints. The plates, glasses and silverware were clean. The wait was minimal at about 10 minutes. read more

Waited over 1.5 hrs to receive cold meat but hot pancake. Not sure why the hype for this place. Went into the bathroom to have a young girl vomit on me while waiting in line.
