The 2 stars are for warm food and was quick however there's only one entrance into the place that's on the opposite side of parking! Very strange setup. The taste and everything else in a burrito was non existent . No flavor. No seasoning. No salt, Tasted very bland unfortunately. I discovered Billy Boys two weeks ago and have already eaten there 3 times. This review will be based on quality, cleanliness and overall experience. The first time I ate at Billy boys I ordered a tuna melt with a side of french fries and it was delicious. It tasted homemade with a clean non fishy taste and I really enjoyed it. 10/10 The second time was a few days later with my husband and I ordered a burger with onion rings- the burger was amazing. Tasted like backyard burgers- great flavor. The onion rings were a little bit over battered and over fried. They didn't taste crisp and fresh. Almost like reheated. I wouldn't order them again. Burger 10/10 The third experience was today. I ordered a Cali burrito with chicken and when I took the first bite there was no sour cream or avocado. I walked up to the kitchen to the lady running the show inside- she stopped and looked at me, I told her I think I got the wrong burrito. I ordered a cali burrito with chicken she said that's a chicken burrito- I said theres no avocado or sour cream she said ok and and just stared at me- usually I don't get bothered but she had an attitude like I did something wrong- very rude- then she grabbed my burrito and said I got it and took my burrito to the cook- I stood there like what just happened ? She consulted with the older woman who took my order and kinda shrugged - I sat down and after some time my new burrito was brought to my table- I bit into the first half and bit into something hard kinda like rocks- the rice was old and stale and each bite was like chewing rocks. Although the chicken was good I stopped eating after three bites and threw out the remaining- def got grossed out 0/10 I'd like to think it wasn't done on purpose but who gives attitude when they messed up on my order. I expected at least I'm sorry that happened or any sort of communication to ensure satisfaction - I am more disappointed in the customer service more than the food. I would have been a new repeat customer but that woman's attitude left a bad taste in my mouth- literally. read more

I've been enjoying Billy Boys for decades -- then IT (unfortunately) HAPPENED! The slightly old and worn and dingy Billy Boy's that was sooooo comfortable like a favorite pair of jeans or shoes got remodeled and like an overly starched shirt is now stiff and not comfortable. Table service, gone! tons of cushy roomy booths, gone! replaced w a few small booths and mostly uncomfortable tables and chairs. Yes, it's all new and clean, but if I wanted to eat at the Corner Bakery, I'd go there! I hope the change is good for them, but it's not good for us. No longer a place we crave and look forward to, but one we're going to skip more often than not. Very sad, loved the classic comfy Billy Boy's, not the sterile new "Corner Bakerylike Boy's". Just picked up lunch to go, and it was delicious. I've been wanting to try this place for a while. The onion rings were a huge portion, and very well cooked. We each had a bacon avocado cheeseburger. Stopped by for a breakfast burrito on my way to work. More potatoe than anything else and even though I asked for extra crispy potatoes, they were barely cooked through not crisp at all. This is a place I frequented for many years. I used to enjoy having a double burger (when I ate meat) here, and also carne asada, burritos and french fries and onion rings, and everything else. I was much heavier then. However, when I started having higher blood pressure in 2020, I didn't want to take the blood pressure pills because of side effects and also, it builds up in your system (what I was taking) - although occasionally I take small amounts if the blood pressure goes up a little. So I started to lose a lot of weight. In the process of this, I came up with a strange diet of eating one meal a day, but every five or six days I eat a little more, and this is when I get something special as a treat for myself. I don't think I could eat the 1000 calorie a day play you down the normal nights without having the special day meal to look forward to.. Also, I think I would get down to about a hundred pounds which is not good for my height. I gained a little back weight I think I was 115 at the lowest but i'm about 140 today. On that special day I will treat myself to a veggie burger or something of that nature. So I got into the habit of going to different places after initially going to Victory Diner every week (since 2021). So I asked the Billy Boy's drive through, (which was just put in recently) if they had a veggie burger, and they said yes. So I ordered it and it was very good. I rated it 9/10. The veggie burgers at all these places taste similar to how their regular burgers tasted before because they put the same lettuce and pickle and sauce ingredients in the veggie, as they would in the one with the meat patty.. read more

Let's start with the food, I had the pastrami chili cheese fries and have to say that is some of the best tasting chili I've had in a while would give it a solid 8/10. I paired that with a pastrami burger and another good hit! Pastrami was great along with the dressing 8.1/10. Next was the chorizo and hashbrowns, chorizo was not greasy at all and had great taste paired well with the hashbrowns. 8/10. Now the unfortunate part had a side of sourdough toast which came fairly dry and couple of jelly's no butter what so ever. 3/10. The service was good, but I will always have an issue with fast food asking for tips at the register. I would say give this place a try and if you have a Group try different things so you can see if they have something you like! read more

I dread posting less than good reviews, but I'm holding out for the potential of this place. Positives: french fries were excellent and the little box they put the sandwich and fries in had a great aesthetic and presentation. The new rehab of the building and new drive-through look great! And the prices were really fair. The rest: the poor girl taking our order was bamboozled with me asking to add avocado to a club sandwich. The poor thing had to go find assistance. I'll chalk that up to maybe it was her first day on the job??? Forgiven. Then she came back. I repeated my order. Again, asking for avocado to added to the sandwich to which she replied. "do you want chicken with that?". Confused, I asked,"what?" to which she replied, "would you like to make that a combo?" I said yes. I also ordered a veggie quesadilla for my passenger. Bro, when I tell you, this was the greasiest thing I've ever seen come out of a restaurant, I am not kidding. It literally soaked through the cardboard box that they put it in and leaked onto my wood table, causing an oil slick. I would not have fed that to my dog. Back to the club sandwich: open the box when I got home... Surprise... No avocado. Luckily, she either forgot or in her confusion, didn't charge me for it. I'll take that as a small win. It's a shame; we are regular Pauls and Perry's customers (other local standalone burger joints) and really wanted this to be good with its new aesthetic and all... Unfortunately, not good. Would not recommend until they get there sh*+ together. To be clear, there were no other customers that I could see in the drive-through nor in the restaurant... So they had our full attention... Almost got into an accident driving into the drive-thru for lunch. Be careful as the order speaker is in a weird spot. I ordered a patty melt and zucchini. The patty melt was mushy and boring, zucchini served hot but funky batter. The ranch was good, but not enough to get through the zucchini order. The soda was nice and bubbly. I use to come to Billy Boys prior to remodeling and it was a usual spot for many Latin families. It was a familiar place with the friendly waitresses taking your order at the table and super affordable prices. I was excited to hear they were remodeling however I've went twice since then and realized that the owner is tone Def as to whom his customers were. You now order as you come in which takes away the diner experience. You have minimal interaction with the waitress. They have change menu and prices. Just feels like another hipster wanna be spot which if I wanted that...I could go to Orange Circle.
