Medium rare New York strip - delicious and definitely recommend!

We have been coming here for over a year. Football games, Fun Day Sunday and Saturday Night Dinners. ANY occasion works! Customer service is top notch. Employees are friendly, happy & take care of customers. We enjoy the happy hour at the bar. Great specials and games on tvs. The New York strip and Spaghetti dinner items are delicious! I know! Who would have thought that Steak and Spaghetti would be good here! Amazing Customer service. Amazing food. Great menu selection! Definitely recommend and will return!

We still love good ol Woodys Diner the menu is still big with lots of choices and the service here is never bad. Prices are still ok here and the food is still great. I had the perfect cheeseburger today with raw onions and im full!

Nice little diner near the circle in Old Town Orange. I was here for breakfast. I ordered the Diner Combo with coffee. Diner Combo is 2 eggs, 2 bacon and sausage and 2 pancakes. This was a nice breakfast. The service is very good, and the restaurant is clean. I need to come back sometime for lunch and get a burger.

Large party fee? Should have been told before seating us. To order 5 plates of food changed an extra 18%. SMH

Very disappointing experience. We were hit with a $22 large party charge for our group (4 adults, a 4-year-old, and a 1-year-old) and were never told ahead of time, it just appeared on the bill. That feels sneaky. Service was cold and unfriendly. I didn't even feel comfortable asking for anything. The place was dirty, crumbs on the booth, dirty floors and restroom, and the outside needs a serious cleaning. For the prices they charge, the cleanliness and service should be much better. Food wasn't worth it either. Save your money and go somewhere else.

A classic diner is always needed in your travels. Woody's is a great spot for breakfast lunch or dinner. Bar seating, low top tables or booths available. Great service for dinner time. Attentive to our tables needs. It was an easy choice of pasta this time around. Comes with a side of garlic bread. Their burgers are great too. Don't forget to try out Prime rib nights. Ample parking but can easily get crowded during rush hours.

I've eaten plenty of times here. They have so many good options to choose from. I love the variety. But this is the first time having breakfast here. Oh my it was delicious! The portion was awesome too. Highly recommended trying out.

Great local diner with an extensive food menu, almost too many items to choose from.Service is surberp, food is outstanding. A definite diner to go too.

Located on the corner of Chapman and Shaffer (across the street from St. John's). Parking lot has plenty of parking spaces. Came here for the first time with family today. Fun, dim lit diner atmosphere. There is a bar area inside too. We sat in the back of the restaurant in a nice, large booth. The women's restroom was clean and roomy. They are private restrooms though. There was a line to use the restroom because of this. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. Prices are fairly reasonable. Will be back again.

I got a burger with fries. The waitress was kind and helpful. The happy hour was great. The drinks were super delicious. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of seats and the service was great.

We ordered at the counter. The wait to order was short. The service staff were fast and efficient. We found a booth and waited for our order. The restaurant was clean. The bathrooms were okay. There was a water leak in the men's room that made the floor wet in one area. The restaurant was decorated nicely. It had a nice diner vibe. The noise level was okay, We ordered a Junior Burger, a Bacon Burger Combo and a side of French Fries. Our granddaughter requested the Hamburger Kid's Meal with Apple Juice. Our order was ready rather quickly. All the food came out hot. The Bacon Burger and Junior Burger tasted good. Both were flavorful and were well dressed. The buns were good. The fries were just okay. Not great but not bad. The granddaughter loved her meal. She ate over half of the hamburger (pretty good for her age). She ate all of her fries and part of mine. The portions on the Kid's meal were generous. The added bonus were the two lollipops that came with. This meal was in a kid friendly paper bag. The price was a bit up there but that's pretty much standard at most burger places.

I liked that they offered flavored creamer for your coffee in addition to regular cream. And their coffee was good. Everyone was nice. We were greeted when we walked in and were seated right away. Our food came out pretty quickly. The first impression of our dishes was kind of a "hot mess". The food was just thrown onto the plate - especially my husband's. He had the Louisiana hot links with egg, hash browns and biscuits. I personally would suggest you ask for the biscuit and gravy on the side - otherwise it will just be at the bottom of your other food. I kinda like a little effort when it comes to presentation. But don't get me wrong, the food tasted good. I had the corned beef hash and eggs which was good - the hash looked to be made in-house. It was good - but to be honest, I actually prefer the old school corned beef hash from a can, that's toasted on the grill. And as for the vibe of the restaurant, it's not real homey. Kinda feels like a diner you would come across while on a road trip. This really isn't my style of a breakfast diner, but it's pretty popular- there were a lot of families enjoying themselves, so maybe give a try and see if it's for you.

Pulling into the parking lot, I knew this was a very well loved restaurant because the lot was packed ~ and it's a pretty good sized lot! Walking up to the door, it's pretty obvious, in a good way, that it's an establishment that's been around for a while. With bustling deli and pastry cases near the entrance, Benjie's instantly gives off a Cheers vibe, even for this first timer. There's a counter to sit at if you're dining solo, or if you've got more people in your party there are plenty of traditional booths and tables. The menu is extensive with all of the traditional deli/diner favorites. In order to try more, we decided to split everything. We ordered Reuben Fritters as a starter, a Pastrami sandwich on a French roll, and cheese blintzes for dessert. The Reuben Fritters were a nice take on the sandwich with a mixture of tender corned beef and the perfect amount of cheeses and sauerkraut rolled in bread crumbs and fried to perfection. The pastrami sandwich was piled high with meat and served with a side of onion rings. We were already getting full at this point, but we couldn't resist the cheese blintzes that were patiently waiting for us to give them a try. I swear I don't live under a rock, but I've never had blintzes before and these were VERY good! We went with the traditional preparation, although I read someone's review that said these could also be requested fried. Definitely worth a try next time. I'm imagining pure decadence! Our server was friendly and kept on top of keeping our beverages filled and checking to see if we needed anything. We left filled with excellent comfort food and an overall great experience. Looking forward to trying some more things on the menu soon!

You can tell they've been around for a long time in the best way. It has that classic deli feel with a mix of diner, café, and old school market vibes. Service was friendly and helpful, even during the lunch rush. We went around 1 PM on a Thursday, so it was definitely busy, but the wait felt expected and worth it. Portion wise, they do not hold back. You really get a bang for your buck here. The smoked fish platter was the highlight for me. I genuinely loved everything on it. It's perfect for sharing (or for leftovers ). It almost feels like a DIY bagel experience you get to mix and match different toppings and flavors, which I'm obsessed with. Also... I tried an egg bagel for the first time and it lowkey changed my life. They make their bagels in house and sell them by the half dozen but they do sell out. By the time we finished eating, they were already out, so if you want some to take home, grab them as soon as you walk in. The Benjie Special was solid super flavorful and packed with a generous amount of pastrami. It did lean a bit greasy for our taste, but that really just comes down to personal preference. They also offer a variety of cold deli items by the pound, which adds to that classic New York-style deli experience. Overall: A cozy, old school deli with generous portions, quality food, and that nostalgic mom and pop charm. Definitely a spot we'd come back to.
