Absolutely delicious! The food here is excellent, and the menu has a lot of options to choose from. We came early in the morning, and there were only a couple of other diners eating when we walked in. We were promptly seated and our drink order was taken. There was only one server, and he didn't come back with my coffee, or take our food order for ages. I admit, I was very frustrated with the long wait, and mumbled under my breath about how long it took to make a coffee. Unbeknownst to me, the server was right behind me and heard my remark... needless to say, service was prompt and efficient after that! I ordered the Plant Plate and was absolutely blown away at the huge portions, also how delicious everything was. I'm American, and my spouse is British, so I always thought it was strange to watch him eat baked beans for breakfast over the years... but surprisingly, it's pretty good and I'd definitely have it again. My spouse had the Pancake Stack with fresh fruit and really enjoyed his as well. The dining room is bright, airy, comfortable, and clean. The toilets are clean as well. Easy to get to when we go off the train in Windsor. The seating for two was tight but very intimate. The waiter was efficient and quick. I ordered the Golden Big Breakfast which was very English traditional. My partner ordered the Avocado Florine Eggs Benedict. Went here on our way to Windsor castle, not really knowing much about it. Very tourist friendly! The chicken sandwich was great, so tender and the chipotle mayo was very good. Cute decor, lovely color scheme. We felt at home as Americans (chips were labeled as fries ). American father rated the burger 8/10. Pancakes weren't spectacular, but they were still decent. For main I had seafood linguine and it was lovely and for dessert I had a lovely mini strawberry and hazelnut cheesecake pot and that was nice but could of had a bit more of a compressed base as it was very loose but otherwise lovely.staff were very nice and gave us a great experience and the service was very good. They get a four star for food but a three star for service... we ordered burgers, steaks, mac & cheese, & chicken. We didn't have to wait too long to get our orders taken but we also had a reservation. The steak was "rubbery" quoted 5/10, the mac & cheese was a 6/10, & the pan fried chicken was a decent 6/10. Our biggest complaint would be that all the food was served except one dish that didn't come until about 15-20 mins after (once everyone else was finished eating). It was not a very busy time of day either. It also was hard to get servers attention & our drinks did not get refilled. Wow, this was really good! Honestly, we just picked the closest place to the train boarding area and had a great lunch. They are obviously popular because we had to wait 20 minutes after the lunch hour. Our server was really friendly and provided great service. I ordered the fish sandwich which was prepared perfectly (see photo). The server recommended the gnocchi as his favorite so my wife order that. She commented that it was some of the best she has had. This is one of the better breakfast places in Windsor. We had a few options between us and the winners were the eggs benny and the avocado toast (with smoked salmon). The potato rusti was great too - not too salty. The bacon is not traditional English style but still good. The coffee is lovely (a must for me) and it has a classic Italian flavour. Don't come if you are in a rush...but service was good (they actually cared even if a tad understaffed). One of the best locations in the Royal Windsor Train Station. I will be back. read more

This restaurant (a chain, I heard) is located right downtown, about a 2 minute walk from the WIndsor Castle. It's also right next to the train track that will take you to Slough (then to London). That's about a 15 second walk. Anyway, I went in for some breakfast. Yes, I do love English breakfasts. This one was nothing short of pretty damn good. It had the usual suspects on the plate - eggs, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, black pudding and the lot. I really enjoyed it. The cup of tea was also good. Well, you get a pot of tea that you can squeeze probably 4 cups of the drink out of. Not sure how the Brits can drink so much tea in one sitting but they do - and I almost did too! The decor is ok. Nothing remarkable but a very comfortable place with friendly wait staff. Compared to the place that I checked close by, this one has better value. Enjoy! read more

Good food, good atmosphere. Long waits. Average service. Milkshakes are fine, but I'd go next door to GBK for a proper selection and decent execution. The coffee is fine, the cappuccino I had felt much more like a late with a tiny layer of foam on top and was nothing particularly special when it came to the taste. My eggs royale had a nice touch of some seeds on top, which did taste delicious and added great depth. I would prefer that attention in the sourcing of their salmon however, as there was room for improvement there. The eggs were well poached, which is hard to do for any fast paced restaurant, but on the small side. Overall if you're willing to walk 5 minutes over the bridge I'd go there for brunch at the same price for better. Or next door for milkshakes. Or to copia for coffee! read more

This is my breakfast go to! My favourite order is either the yoghurt and granola or the blueberry pancakes which are amazing! This place can get very busy as obviously its a very good restaurant in a very popular location but the staff are fabulous. If you have an aversion to waiting in a queue for a little while then id recommend booking. SUCH a great breakfast!! read more

The food was delicious. Highly recommend the chicken skewers (appetizer) and their gnocchi dish. Their staff went above and beyond to take care of our family. The manager is absolutely amazing. I went here for lunch on a Saturday and the service was very quick even though it was very busy, I had the halloumi burger with gem lettuce and chilli sauce with fries on the side and it was the best burger I've ever had!
