I love how many Gluten free and other options there are on the menu, and how well marked it is. And the staff was also knowledgeable and great. The food was HUGE! But I don't think I'd order the Boujee Royale again. But I'd definitely go back and try other things! Really cute place and a 5 minute walk from The Globe.
The Table Cafe is a gorgeous little eatery in London's Bankside neighborhood. The space is welcoming, with a warm red ceiling, light wood furniture and plants hanging and growing all over to give it a very natural feel. Their fare is also very light and natural tasting. We visited at lunch and I got the Table Brunch Burger which had egg, avocado, spinach, and tomato compote. So even though it was a burger, there were a lot of fresh ingredients in it! My friend got the Table Burger and loved her chicken too. We each got different fries to try - I got the sweet potato fries and she got the normal fries (chips). Both were great but I slightly preferred the sweet potato fries since they were something different that I'm not used to. The Table serves brunch too and that menu looked fantastic. We were there more toward lunch time though, so dang. Now the only downside is that it's not the cheapest place in existence to eat, but what in London is? I would definitely recommend checking out The Table for their very nice interior vibe and the delicious food offerings!
If you love thick pancakes with lots of different savory toppings this is the spot for you!!! I had the cottage cheese and sour cherry with custard pancakes - this was with the thin crepe pancakes and it was so good!!! My toddler had sourdough toast with scrambled eggs with orange juice and she said it was very good!! Loved the vibes here - service was great, music was great, and everyone was so kind. Will be back
Wonderful, cozy brunch spot right in the shadow of the Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. We took a gamble and showed up at 9:30 on a Thursday morning without making a reservation, and were seated right away. The place was bustling our entire time there, but the waitstaff was quick and efficient. Food and drinks came out quickly. My girlfriend and I got the full English breakfast and were both very satisfied. Coming from America, this was definitely something on my checklist that I was looking forward to, and it did not disappoint. My son got the pancakes with bacon and caramelized bananas and loved them. We were all completely stuffed when we left and would absolutely come back our next time in London!

The presentation of the food pulled me in initially, as I wanted a full English. However, I don't know if it was the day as I went in on Sunday for brunch or what but it wasn't a seamless experience. Took my order about 15 mins in. I asked for my eggs well done, well they were so done that I couldn't use a knife to cut it. Both sausage and blood pudding were bland and flavorless. I left half of it on my plate. Did not like it. I have had much better. The service was average, waited about 35 mins to actually get my food, then when I asked for the check, the server said yes and 5 mins later she's walking around and I had to ask another one for it. However, location, setup, decor, music and space were amazing! Right on Main Street with open side outdoor seating. Perfect for small or large parties. Lastly, my gin cocktail was pretty well made. I actually enjoyed that.
Popular brunch spot in Southwark offering classic brunch options. The food was just okay though. The very berries pancakes (12.50 GBP) were pretty fluffy but the cream on it had some very slight strange flavor which I didn't quite like. The serving size was also a bit on the small side. The brunch club waffles (14 GBP) were also just alright. Sort of standard quality waffles with standard scrambled eggs, bacon and a sausage on top. Not much more to say about that. The apple juice (3.80 GBP) came in a surprisingly nice glass with a lemon in it, although the portion size was a bit small. The restaurant has a good amount of both indoor and outdoor patio seating with pretty nice decor. However, it does get quite busy during peak brunch hours so I would recommend making a reservation if you don't want to try your luck with a walk-in (which is still possible to get without a wait actually if you're lucky). The staff are average friendliness, although the service speed is a bit on the slow side. Overall, The Table Cafe is not a bad option, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to go there, not to mention potentially wait for a table if there is a wait.

I stumbled upon this place as a recommendation from a local coffee shop. It was a Wednesday around lunch and the wait was maybe 10-15min...it was pretty packed so I knew it must be good. Staff were all friendly and greeted me promptly. I ordered the avocado toast with poached eggs and smoked salmon. The Bloody Mary compote or Jam of some sort was delicious and paired perfectly with this dish. I also ordered a latte which was delicious and not overly strong. Pricing was reasonable as well. Next time I'm in London, I will def come back!
I visited London with my family, and we came to The Table for a Saturday brunch per our hotel's recommendation. The tables were packed when we got there, but we were seated after a 10-minute wait. The service and the food were both great. We originally got seated at a high table, but the hostess was kind to re-seat us at a table outside once it opened up. I ordered the Smoked ham hock and chorizo hash and added the herby mushrooms, and it was delicious. We also ordered the Long Weekender on the Baked Cinnamon French Toast with smoked salmon, one of their more unique menu items; it was a perfect balance of sweet and savory. I recommend this spot for breakfast or brunch if you're looking for a cozy ambiance with a wide variety of food.
On vacation in London with my husband and 4 boys and we wanted something everyone would like for breakfast and this place hit the spot. The full English breakfast was delicious, the waffles were perfect so tasty. The pancakes were a little dense for me but my 13 year old liked them.

Insanely delicious!!!! Wow! Had the Baron Bigod and it was exactly what I needed after our pub crawl last night... waffles super crispy and the cheese (like brie) with the truffle honey and bacon and grape chutney and greens.... Omgosh!!!!! Delish read more
I really wanted to love this place. The service was lovely for our table of 10 and they were so quick to seat us and get our order in before the lunch rush. It may have just been an off day in the kitchen but a couple of dishes were off the mark. I ordered the crispy chicken Caesar salad and the chicken was overcooked to the point of being hard to eat and the lettuce was soggy and limp - this was not a case of overdressing, it was lettuce based it's prime. My co-worker had the same assessment as she ordered the same dish. Another teammate had the Finger Lickin Chicken and should have had the house hot sauce on the side because he said it was way too spicy. Other dishes like the Burrata Bowl and Table Brunch Burger were more successful according to our other guest's orders. The location is beautiful and airy outside and close to our office so I look forward to trying it again and ordering something else. read more

I don't normally write reviews but "The Table" is the exception. I walked in a few moments before opening and my nose was assaulted with the most wonderful smell of fresh pancakes and waffles with a hint of maple, and bacon. Oh happy days, and not bad considering, considering I was suffering from a stuffed head. I mentioned to the manager that breakfast is my favorite meal and that there was a high bar to unseat my favorite, "The Yolk" in Chicago. Well they have been unseated. For today I ordered Eggs Benedict and they were outstanding. The eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise sauce was silky and delicious. Once paired with the homemade English muffin and crisp bacon I was in heaven. I usually order pancakes or waffles only a year but I couldn't resist and ordered the waffle with berries just so I could have one bite. Another good choice. The staff was great and very attentive and inland to make another visit before I leave London. I arrived as the place was opening and it was filled within minutes. I would recommend a reservation. Came by for breakfast the other day and it was a phenomenal experience. Made a reservation for breakfast the same day and my table was ready upon arrival. The restaurant was at 5% capacity at opening during the weekday. Both indoor and outdoor dining options were available. The interior of the restaurant was a very relaxed and casual setting. Ordered the smoked salmon eggs benedict along with avocado and steamed spinach. The eggs were poached to a perfect medium and the smoked salmon was very fragrant. The avocado was fresh and the steamed spinach was also tasty. The biscuit at the bottom was on the drier side though... Service by the staff was cordial and the waitstaff used a tablet for ordering. Free wifi was available. ~£21 for breakfast inclusive of GST & 10% service charge. The restaurant takes NFC payments read more

This is the BEST fully English breakfast in all of London. Their beans we so good, the sausage grilled with care, blood pudding dense and flavorful, the freshness of the ingredients were well recognized. Their pancakes were addicting. Something about them I still dream about them now. Whenever we come back to London this is a must. So so GOOD. Service was great too. You can feel the pride and love that goes into each dish. read more

The Full English Breakfast is a must!! I added the black pudding with I cannot speak enough about! It was absolutely delicious. I personally didn't favor the mushroom which wasn't cooked to my liking but that's just me. Coffee was good, I just had a regular latte. Staff were very friendly and gave great service. The restaurant atmosphere was the cherry on top. Very much like a garden or sun room vibe. I would definitely recommend sitting on the patio if given the chance. Would definitely come back! read more
For our first day in London, we stopped here for brunch as it is down the block from our hotel. We were seated promptly and our drinks and food came out unbelievably fast and all was delicious! Our waitress was very friendly and the manager came to our table to check in and also gave us a bunch of recommendations on where to go for our stay in London. 10/10 food and service for sure. Popped in for a quick lunch. That chicken burger was clucking good! Definitely would get after that again! The salad was good, not great, as I would definitely make it clear that the salmon is smoked like a lox as that was a surprise and wouldn't have ordered it that way. read more

This place is often packed, so you should make a reservation online unless you don't mind outdoor seating. The food is great. We were only in London for 5 days and we went there twice. The Full English Breakfast was everything you could ever want from a Full English. The eggs are cooked perfectly with beautiful runny yolk. Chorizo is a genius twist on the traditional baked beans. The tomatoes were the juicy and tomato-y, and mushroom was mushroomy. The black pudding is a must-order add-on. The waffels were crispy and fluffy as they were made in individual skillets. The pears are nice, although the chocolate sauce may be slightly overpowering. The cappuccino was also fantastic. read more

We had the most lovely breakfast here on our first morning in London. It was so good that we really wanted to come back for another meal but never made it over. Some day... Anyway, The Table is such a lovely little place to eat, bright and relaxing. The food is simple but executed very well. My husband got the chicken and waffle, which was massive. He demolished it, so it must have been good. I got the salmon benedict, which is seriously one of the best renditions of this dish I have ever had. The salmon is amazing. If you liked smoked salmon, get this or some other dish on the menu that features the smoked salmon (there are a few). They are rightfully proud of this. If you love a good bagel with lox or you love cold smoked salmon, I am telling you... this is what dreams are made of. My husband isn't as big a fan of smoked salmon as I am generally and even HE was eating it off my plate instead of his meal. We also got the hashbrowns, which were were super crispy and delicious, and we got the fried cheese, which honestly was the only thing we thought was just OK. Coffee was very good and all our other beverages were perfect. We absolutely loved our meal here and wish we could have gone again. Next time it will certainly be on our list. read more

After eating a hotel breakfast buffet for numerous days in a row, I needed something inventive and different. I did a quick yelp search and found The Table. I ordered the corn cake egg breakfast. Very tasty. I asked for scrambled instead of poached eggs. The eggs were perfectly cooked. My wife had a traditional breakfast with French Toast. She liked it, I would have liked the French Toast to be wetter. The slice wasn't soaked through with custard. Still, a solid choice and a good value. read more
