This was the best meal we've had in London. Everyone loved what we got minus my the Sriracha bloody Mary was not spicy, flavorless really. It was a great location near Buckingham Palace too. The staff was quick and friendly and the price wasn't outrageous for what we ordered. Very good ambiance, decor, an atmosphere overall. Highly recommend. Despite countless restaurants in the area, this one is a most try!! I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

We were greeted and seated right away. The server was friendly and the food was tasty. The portion is great and filling. Came in with the family, no need for reservation. Everything's clean, the ambiance is pretty, relaxing, modern. The bathrooms are clean. Will definitely come back and highly recommend!!!!

I want to preface this by saying I am an American writing this review so my opinion is definitely biased and based on the food options I am used to having in the United States. So my partner and I just came from Buckingham Palace and were looking for some Brunch/Lunch options and stumbled upon this restaurant. It was nicely decorated and full. We took a seat at the bar since we did not have any recommendations. I just need to say - I am clearly not a fan of British breakfast. I feel like there is not much diversity in it, and the traditional breakfast includes items I do not like to particularly eat. Because of this, the options on this menu were pretty slim for me. It was mainly between two things Pancakes and Dirty Daisy. My partner and I got both and were able to try each other. The pancakes are definitely different from the US.. thinner, not as fluffy but still very delicious. The pancakes came with strawberry syrup as well as had blueberries baked in them with strawberries and blueberries on top with cream. The Dirty Daisy was packed with a lot of flavors. I don't like sausages so I didn't eat those and made sure the egg was scrambled. We also asked for a side of crispy bacon as I realized the bacon is also different in the UK. Overall we had a great experience with what we ate. Our drinks were delicious and the food was good. We waited a normal amount of time for our food is that it was busy. I would say that the waiters did not really check on us and we were looking for them constantly when we needed something. Overall, it filled us up for the flight we were taking in the next 3 hours. The restaurant also had a great vibe and the staff were very helpful when we did get them.

    Pea Risotto

Came here for lunch before going to Buckingham Palace. It's a shabby sheik sit down restaurant that has a fast food feel. Had the pea risotto which was nice paired with an Australian white wine. Service was pleasant enough but they seem to be in machine mode. Not overly friendly but effective.

I recommend what I ordered: 1. Flat white Coffee 2. Smashed Avocado with poached eggs and bacon I came here on a Sat morning around 8am. There was no wait and I got seated immediately. In fact I was the only one there. Shortly after people started to show up and by the time I left the place was almost half full. The service was great. I ordered a flat white coffee which turned out to be what I wanted. A ~6oz espresso based drink with good milk to coffee ratio. There was a basic but nicely done latte art on top of it. In general it exceeded my expectation. Best coffee I've had in UK so far but not the best I've ever had. So a good 4/5 for the coffee. I ordered smashed avocado with bacon and poached eggs. It was a great choice and I highly recommend it. The poached eggs were perfect and juicy. The smashed avocado had this sour lemoni taste to it which I really like. They used a dark colored toast which helped the presentation. Bacon was also a good side to have it with the dish. They're partnering with hotels near by and offer a small discount. So if you're a visitor and stay near by check with the front desk about the di

After a long two days of travel "across the pond", we were ready to get some quick nutrients in us before beginning the exploration! The presentation of the food was exquisite. However, the service wasn't ideal. We weren't greeted upon entering and felt rushed to sit, eat, and leave once arriving. I enjoyed the menu selections as everything was very fresh and organic - exactly what I needed after traveling and snacking on junk food the entire time. This restaurant is bright, fresh, and in a great location in London.

very pretty setup! i love the greenery and windows everywhere, i felt like a fish in a fishbowl. the workers were friendly and attentive, and the food came out quickly. i ordered the blueberry pancakes, which were so delicious. the textures and flavors were elite. definitely recommend if you're a sweet breakfast/brunch person. my friend got the bondi and also really enjoyed that. above average food for sure, service for us was average (not in a necessarily bad way)

As a seasoned visitor to London and the variety of eating establishments available around the city and surrounding areas, I am accustomed now to the service - or lack thereof - that seems to be du jour and I am NOT here for it! In summary? Our party reserved for brunch weeks ago, so when we arrived, they should have already known we were coming and how to set up the table. But did that occur? Were they ready to receive us? A resounding NO. We were seated fine enough, but then we were quickly forgotten about time and time again. We ordered tea, but no sugar was on our table No cream was set or delivered to our table until we had to repeatedly ask. When I order coffee or tea, the expectation is that cream and sugar be set on the table as well, whether I USE THEM or not. The ONLY thing we had on our table when we were seated were salt and table. Red flag. The other issue? We seemed to have a few servers/waiters that were tending to our table - up to 3 possibly - yet we STILL managed to get adequate service for the entire duration of our stay. I know when I order food, I like to have a set of cutlery to go with my food. Is that too much to ask? Or more succinctly: WHY should I have to ask for something that should already be there? Two people at the table ordered drinks that they did not like, so asked the staff to take them back and then asked for them to suggest other drinks on the menu. If your staff tells you to disregard half of the drinks on the menu, that is a CLEAR sign that a NEW drink menu should be instituted. Also, when they ordered the new drinks, there was a billing issue - the server took off the bill the new drinks ordered, but left the other ones on the bill - probably because they cost more. If it seems shady/deceitful and like bad business, that's because it is/was. Furthermore? Our party was moved to another table, where we were set to order brunch as that was the intention when we made the reservation in the first place. However? We were instructed that no one could order brunch unless EVERYONE ordered brunch. Or to be even more specific, the server tried to force us all to order a brunch even though some people did not want that option. This establishment, if I understand correctly, is a chain, and this was not at issue when we went to the other location, so someone there needs to explain to me - like I am a 5-year-old - how a table can have approximately/allegedly 3 people tending to it, yet cannot be responsible for ensuring that said party is not 'cheating' the system by drinking one another's alcohol that comes with certain brunch orders? Because that was the implication for NOT allowing about half of the party to order the brunch. The money this restaurant lost by inefficiency and - dare I say - laziness will not be overlooked. The upside? The food was very good, well-presented, and tasty. Everyone at the table had great reviews of their food, so if you desire great food, then this is the place for you. But the service? Absolutely horrid. When it came time to pay, it took nearly half an hour in total for us to pay out and this is why. There were hidden fees on the bill that had to be addressed, donations to charities that were not donations. To the owners of this place, let's be clear: it's not a donation if you don't ASK your patrons about said donation. If you have to explain the donation, where it's going, and why it's on a bill without explanation, you already KNOW what that is - a scam. For this, we brought over the manager and had it removed. And last but certainly not least that will NOT be overlooked? Our waitress, who was with us the entire time and looked scared out of her wits because we probably made her WORK more than she ever has on ANY shift there... - took all of our orders - cleared our tables - delivered our food and condiments - presented us with the bill with her notepad and pen in the CROTCH of her yoga pants, which she pulled out and placed back in said crotchal zone for hours while tending to us. That is a huge red flag and if I had realized it sooner, I would have said something. It was not until we were paying the second time that I realized what she was doing with her uniform - or lack thereof. #Tacky. Tawdry. If THAT is not disgusting in and of itself, then I really don't know what is. And if I have to EXPLAIN why that is disgusting and unhygienic, then you really should not be in business. When it comes to tipping, as an American, I tip very well, so I don't need to be educated on the tenets of that. However, what I REFUSE to tip on is subpar service where the restaurant preys on the ignorance of SOME patrons and assumes they can get away with it unscathed. Computer says NO. 2 stars out of 5.

Yummmmm avocado toast with poach egg on charcoal bread
    Jessica F.

Perfect avocado toast fix!! I've been struggling to find decent avocados ever since moving to London so I've been starved for a good one and Timmy Green delivered. The charcoal bread is scrumptious, I wish bakeries would get on the charcoal train too, and with one piece plain there was more than I knew what to do with. We also ordered the coconut French toast which was flaky and delicious but I think it needs a name other than French toast because it was thicker and drier than French toast normally is, it felt like a much different variation. Beautiful artful plating throughout and a great location at the newish Nova food hall near Victoria train station, this is a filling brunch spot. Could have had better service, the water we had asked for actually never came and like everywhere in Europe super slow bringing the bill.

My first day in London and Nick made my friends and I so welcome! Definitely recommend this place for anyone coming to London. Loads of vegan and vegetarian options + the bottomless!! Worth it!!! Great daisy fizz!! Nick was extremely personable, recommending great food options on the menu. I had the healthy start, my sister and friend had the smashed avocado and the shashkuka and all together was so welcoming to us!! He told us about his favorite spots around the city.

Honestly I can forgive A LOT if people are nice but that wasn't the case with our server. Low energy, not very warm and welcoming and slow. Actually to be fair, I got a smile from the busboy when I was on my way to the restroom- perhaps the 2 should switch roles if the restaurant is looking for repeat visits or nice reviews. Btw- the manager...not exactly sure what he was doing. One last thing, I've had sea bass in many restaurants and never had anyone leave the skin on-Just not what I expected. I'm not sure on that, it's just something I thought we caught on to before we left and there started to be RESERVED tents going on the tables. We went and had Scotch Egg, Calamari, Arancini, fish & chips and STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING. Oh. My. Goodness! First the Scotch Egg. I don't want to be a Debbie Downer but it was....ok. It was a little plain. A little tasteless. They could have thrown a few spices into the meat, just a little something. To say that we've made better at home wouldn't be far out. But still good. The calamari was cooked just right. It's what you expect out of a calamari appetizer. Was it the best you'll ever have? Not really. Worth the price? Add it to your appetizer list! The rice balls, which is arancini is, were good. Add a little salt to the top and they were, also, as you'd expect. The fish & chips were exactly as we were hoping when visiting an English Pub for fish & chips. The fish was perfectly cooked, the coating was fabulous, and of course the chips were a perfect compliment to the fish. A great fish & chips experience. The star of the show was the Sticky Toffee Pudding. What a treat! Granted I've nothing to compare it to, this was my first time having it, but whether I've had it before or not THIS was perfection. Perfect texture, the flavour was amazing, the caramel drizzle was perfectly proportioned, and the little bit of ice cream on the side was just perfect. I would go back here simply on this dessert alone. As for the drinks, because, you know, it's a pub....I couldn't say. I don't drink alcohol but my Diet Coke was great! Fresh bottle! ....I suppose I could have gotten a non-alcoholic beer. Wait....did they have non-alcoholic beer there? SOMEONE FIND OUT IF THEY HAVE NON-ALCOHOLIC BEER THERE. The atmosphere was great. Came here for pre-theater anniversary dinner with my wife. The ambiance was somewhere between that of a trendy club and nice bar. There was a mad scientist vibe with the lights being industrial vibe and some metal decor. The music was thumpy and loud enough to remind you it was there. It made me feel a bit out-of-place as somebody well past my 20s, but also a bit cool or being there. You really come here for the drinks. We got the pipe dream, smokey old fashioned, honeypot picante, and one other I can't remember the name of, but which came in a flower pot. The pipe dream and smokey old fashioned were likely the best. Overall the drinks were more visually appealing than traditionally good and the visually appealing ones tended to have ingredients that weren't as top shelf and/or they were just too sweet. Not bad, but disappointing for what we'd hope. The food was the opposite. I had low expectations and the food wasn't amazing, but was better than average. We got the bao buns, crispy duck pancakes, panko halloumi, katsu curry, and hot honey pork tacos. They arranged for it all to come out in time for us to make our theater show, which was nice. The bao buns and pork tacos were probably the best. Neither blew me away, but both were solid. The katsu curry and halloumi were standard of what you might expect. The crispy duck pancakes was maybe as advertised, but it would have been nice to have some moistness or substance to the dug vs. it basically being crunchy salty bits of something. Overall, this wasn't a bad meal, but it wasn't quite what I was hoping for either. We may be back, but we'll probably try other things first.
