You get a choice of bread or toast. This is toast for three people.

Expect brusque service, and filling food in this working man's diner. Food is tasty but not at all fancy. Lots of options with full opportunity to mix and match your favorites. Pay at the counter when you're done.

We were in the hunt for a traditional English breakfast our first morning in London, and stumbled across this cafe just a 10 min walk from the Eye! It was quaint, but busy on a Saturday morning, and offered seating inside as well as outside on the sidewalk. The menu is huge, and allows substitutions/ a la carte options, so you can really customize your meal. We started with an americano and a latte - both were prepared nice and strong. The Hale and hearty plate came with everything under the sun and could've fed 3 people. The sausage that came with both meals was crazy good and the eggs were cooked perfectly! As my first English breakfast experience i have nothing to compare it to, but I'd recommend it nonetheless!

Lovely little cafe nearby various attractions. The food was affordable, and everyone was very welcoming. I ordered the tuna mix jacket potato, and oh! My God. It was massive. It could have fed 10 families. My husband got the egg burger and chips. Simple ingredients that make a fine and hearty meal. I'm sad I couldn't finish it. We just got off a long haul plane ride, so my stomach is still rough. Hopefully, next time, I'll be able to finish their jacket potato.

    Veggie English breakfast.

Really enjoyed going to this place 5 mornings in a row on my work trip to London. Staff is nice and food is well prepared and has a nice variety. One day I did veggie, the next the more traditional breakfast. Generous portions also.

We all ordered something different for breakfast and it was all superb. The Micah and hot chocolate were also amazing!

We had completed our red-eye and needed to eat something of substance/kill time before getting into our hotel. After a seeing a bunch of smaller menu'd cafes we found this one and it checked all the boxes. Good sized menu with options for both of us. Idk I it was the lack of sleep but this omelette was one of the best I've ever had. Fresh squeezed OJ was also an unexpected nice touch. Glad we went!

This is a cute little cafe in the Waterloo area of London. We stopped by for breakfast while playing tourist in London. It is a smaller place where seating can be a little cramped when full. It is self seating (as opposed to hostess seating) and we ended up standing around waiting until someone left. While it does have table service, you have to pay at the cashier on your way out. They had a pretty extensive menu where you have many options to customize your food with different meats and sides. They also offered a large variety of coffee drinks. We ordered cappuccinos which were excellent. For food, we ordered the Spanish Omelet and a few customized versions of their English Breakfast. Food quality was very good in general but I found my Black Pudding (English Blood Sausage) extremely dry, even crumbly. Overall a good, solid choice for a quick, quality breakfast while on the run.

First stop on our first day in London. Our server was so friendly and helpful and the food was surprisingly tasty. I didn't know what "bubble" was and our server kindly explained without making me feel like a stupid tourist:) Thanks for the quick and friendly service!

This is my first trip to a cafe since the lockdown, but colour me impressed! The menu that had was simply staggering. The prices were reasonable. The food itself was pretty good. And, as a bonus, they allow pick-up orders in a effort to prevent COVID! Long story short, this place is amazing. Very good all around. It's good to be back to reviewing on Yelp, but I'm also glad that businesses are taking these precautions, and for that, they get my respect.

As Americans, we were interested in seeing the English take on a lot of our classic American diner dishes. I had the chocolate chip pancakes, my sister had cheese fries and macaroni and cheese (she has an intense love for cheese) and our friend had the burger with seasoned fries. I think the best things on the table were the pancakes and the cheese fries. It seemed to be ACTUAL cheese melted onto the fries instead of the fake "nacho" cheese that we get in the states -- even though the fake cheese is also delicious. The macaroni and cheese was a bit dry and in need of a bit more flavor, as was the burger. The pancakes? Awesome. They came out warm, fluffy, topped with a sprinkling of powdered sugar and a side of butter and maple syrup.

At this, they fail. Any Denny's will provide a better experience than this, without the London prices. Some complaints: after asking for sweetener for my coffee, I was informed they only have sugar or agave syrup. I asked for an omelette, and I was informed they were too busy to make omelettes, even though the menu offers scrambled eggs any way you like. How time consuming is an omelette? So I revised my order for 3 scrambled eggs with a side of bacon. They brought out two plates, with 2 eggs on each plate! The service was slow and unfriendly. This might be acceptable if it was a 24-hour diner, and I was there at 4 am with the clubbers and other freaks sobering up for the journey home. It was noon! I sense the people dining here were part of the bleed-over traffic from a nearby Breakfast Club, as there was no queue for a table at The Diner, unlike the competition on a Saturday morning. Apparently, this location is part of a chain. America isn't very popular these days, so these Londoners have a lot of cheek destroying the idea of one of the few good things you are usually guaranteed in the States: a friendly breakfast diner where you can get a bleedin' omelette when you ask! (One positive: they serve bottomless filtered coffee. There is that.)

Things were looking promising when I saw a vegetarian breakfast offered in lieu of the traditional English breakfast. I was drawn to the dish because it offered spinach and hash browns in lieu of all the meat in its partner dish. My friend ordered the regular Full English and her dish came out well before mine. I waited roughly 10-15 minutes longer for something that would appear to take less cook time. The plate came out and I noticed there was no spinach. I was not offered a choice as a substitute nor made aware of the situation. Long story short I ended up ordering the Full English and they forgot my black pudding. Waited additional time for that as well. Then they forgot I asked for the bill. Overall, I would not recommend it, especially if you're on a time schedule and multiple mishaps occurred. No cash accepted and 12.5% service charge automatically added to the final bill with the usual VAT.

The little bustling restaurant definitely has plenty of atmosphere, we loved the Happy Days swinging 50s thing. The service staff were upbeat and good fun. It is a great place to take the kids or have a teenagers birthday party etc etc. But measured on the BURGETRON.... Not great... The food was cooked and presented like a slightly (and I mean slightly) up market Fish and Chippy. Not expensive but not cheap. The coke floats we so eagerly ordered weren't great either. A random hotdog glided past my eyes glossed in goo cheese and also sadly didn't look overly appertising either. We were a bit disappointed that the food wasn't very nice after being so excited initially, it was busy though so maybe on a quieter day the quality might be a little better. The menu was interesting and there were plenty of options including a choice of two Vege burger, cheesy fries, milk shakes, choc sundaes....all the usual Americana Diner things... It was loud and crowded so if you're looking to chill.... Best not go on the weekends... So in closing.... go and have a look...take the kids... it's no food destination but definitely fun... anyway ....as Fonzi would say.... Ayyyyyy!!!!!
