    Lamb kofta meal. Only £5.50!
    Leo M.

I love this place. I've been here a number of times because I do a lot of Improv down here (catch the fever!) and this is one of my first choices for a quick dinner. They are super nice, the lamb is great, and its crazy cheap! Did you see my photo? Only 5.50 for all that! Next time you're sick of over priced borough market food, stop by here and get happy.

Probably the best Moroccan food in London. Don't believe me? Come try it yourself. Traveled here from Mexico.

I had the Moroccan Lamb and Chicken Salad which was really good. Meat is well seasoned and cooked and the hummus is great. Friendly staff, quick service and good prices.

Chicken box for £5 is the best lunch deal in London Bridge. Tasty chicken, hummus, salad and cous cous.

The Table Cafe is a gorgeous little eatery in London's Bankside neighborhood…read more The space is welcoming, with a warm red ceiling, light wood furniture and plants hanging and growing all over to give it a very natural feel. Their fare is also very light and natural tasting. We visited at lunch and I got the Table Brunch Burger which had egg, avocado, spinach, and tomato compote. So even though it was a burger, there were a lot of fresh ingredients in it! My friend got the Table Burger and loved her chicken too. We each got different fries to try - I got the sweet potato fries and she got the normal fries (chips). Both were great but I slightly preferred the sweet potato fries since they were something different that I'm not used to. The Table serves brunch too and that menu looked fantastic. We were there more toward lunch time though, so dang. Now the only downside is that it's not the cheapest place in existence to eat, but what in London is? I would definitely recommend checking out The Table for their very nice interior vibe and the delicious food offerings!

My friend and I stumbled across this cafe en route to an event and dropped in on our way home to try it. We both had a cup of herbal tea and I had a slice of cake. Staff were really friendly and it was a nice spot to spend an hour or so. The cafe also has various items for sale including plants, crockery, candles and kids items, however I found they were priced pretty high. This is why I dropped a star on my review as I found it was on the pricier side. Tea was £2 and a slice of cake/cupcake/pastry was £3. I did enjoy my tea and cake and the cake was homemade but it was a bit of a small portion to justify the £3 price. However I appreciate the vicinity of the cafe probably warrants the price and it is in quite a touristy area with the London Eye a 5 min walk away. The cafe has been there 4 months and it makes a change to visit a local business vs a chain cafe, hopefully it is here to stick around. So give it a go! Hopefully they will become a bit more generous with the portion sizes!!

Perfect seating area with electric fireplace, light jazz instrumentals, perfectly brewed tea and coffee, and just calming atmosphere. This is truly a hidden gem and relaxing place to read a book, talk to friends, or just enjoy some time to yourself.

As we were walking around Borough Market we saw the line for Bread Ahead and realized it was for the donut stand they had outside along the street. We had to jump on line and drool over the display of sugary goodness. We each tried a different donut and was not disappointed! So many varieties to choose from - coconut, lemon curd, blackcurrant cheesecake, seasalt caramel and honeycomb, and others. They don't skimp on the fillings as each bite was flavorful. Yum!

I'd reccomend checking out the bakery as this is where the fresh goodies are made and you're more likely to get the fresh batch here. Price wise, it's a bit steep. At 5£ per donut and 6.50£ for a piece of focaccia. But you're in a tourist area so high prices should be expected. We opted for the cheese focaccia that came right out from the oven. For 6£, it's not bad. It's pretty sizable and a good shareable snack! It's a good crusty bread and had a subtle garlic flavor with a blend of stringy cheese. If you like cheesy garlic bread, this is for you! Out of all the snacks you could get in the borough market, this is a solid option! But I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.
