Lovely place with a great menu! Inexpensive. You have to try the Avo Toast and the green Smoothie!!

This was good but the meal was lacking a side or something. I should've asked beforehand but I assumed it would be a bit heartier. We both had Eggs Benedict. Their iced tea is sweetened which I can't stand but again, I should've asked. It also tastes like Lipton peach tea (instant) w mint in it. It has that weird aftertaste. The staff were friendly & the place is cute & clean. Additionally, it wasn't super hot inside like we've encountered here (it's fall). Very cozy.

    Mint tea-delicious!

My husband and I stopped by Bill's very late at night (~11pm) after we went to the theatre. We didn't realize that they were just getting ready to close until we sat down and we said we would make it quick. They were super friendly and allowed us to stay while they closed up and they didn't rush us at all which was very nice. I ordered a mint tea and it was amazing. My husband ordered a black tea which was also good. Coming to Bill's late at night was a great experience for us.

Pancakes with fruit and maple syrup. Can't go wrong!

I think this is a good place for a quick bite to eat for weary and jet lagged travelers who are just arriving to London via the High Street Kensington station. This was our very first meal here, after arriving to the neighborhood from the airport. We were exhausted and hungry, and this is a neat and welcoming place with a cool interior and good food. I liked the pancakes I ordered, my husband had a dish that was poached egg with toast, avocado, etc. Staff was very friendly, we didn't have to wait for a table.

Came on a Sunday morning and was sat right away. The service was quick and the food was delicious! I was expecting a so so experience based on the yelp score but the other place didn't open until 9am so we decided to give it a shot. Glad we did! We will stop by again before our trip ends.

Delicious breakfast! Large portions. Had the "Bill's Breakfast". Great flavors. Asked for a mimosa and they didn't know what it was, but when I told them the ingredients they made me a pretty solid one in a big glass. Great ambiance too-- industrial looking on the inside.

Well located just outside the entrance to High street Kensington tube, I really like this place. It's my first visit, and I've found the staff to be cheerful and friendly, there's a nice atmosphere too without it being too noisy. I ordered the eggs Benedict and a latte. Both of which were textbook. The muffin halves are both sizeable and tasty. There was a good amount of hand carved Han without it being excessive. The eggs were beautifully golden yolked and perfectly poached. The hollandaise was delicious, being light with a nice note of lemon running through it. I can certainly recommend it here and will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

This is inside station building I dropped by at lunch time. I ordered the signature dish, fish pie, this is literally signature, impressive one.

Bill's was an unexpectedly delicious good time! After walking around Kensington Palace and the Gardens, we stopped by here for dinner. We ordered a couple of cocktails and shared Bill's Sharing Platter, the Sea Bass and Sirloin steak with mushroom sauce. What a satisfying and delicious family style meal we had. We saved room in our bellies of course and got 2 desserts: the Chocolate Dome/Bomb and Sticky Toffee Pudding. Hands down -- the BEST sticky toffee pudding I've ever had. This place is a must try. The ambience was amazing -- lit candles on the tables and quirky furniture. All the staff were also attentive. We have to give a special shout-out to our AWESOME and super friendly server Renata (from Lithuania). Thanks Renata!!! Hope to see you in Canada some time. :)

Breakfast tea came with floaters, think the kettle needs cleaning!

Pancakes were ok, English breakfast wasn't. The fried eggs and bacon came out cold and our party of 5 waited over 40 minutes for our food.

So when we visited in 2024, the parental units said "We found our fave F&C place, Balans." So me & the boy went one night for dinner. About have full and we were seated right away & a server was with us in a few minutes, his name was David. Wow, what a fantastic person! He was charming, around when needed and I feel I cannot say enough good things about him. Onto the meal, I had the F&C (ofc) and the boy had the roast chicken. The PU's were not wrong, literally the best F&C I have had in a very long time! The alcohol prices were better than the local pubs & the ambiance here is out of this world, just beautiful! Do yourself a favor & eat here.

Battered like it owed someone money. Crisp on the outside, flaky in the middle, seasoned right. Chips were chunky, like they should be, not those little frozen fries that taste like sadness. Mushy peas weren't shy either. Tartar sauce had enough punch to remind you you're in Britain, not on a cruise ship. My bruv was with me, the one who's always got it all figured out. While I was neck-deep in cod and joy, he's sat there with a pot of tea and a steak omelette like some kind of Soho aristocrat. Didn't say a word, just nodded at the first bite. Man knows what he's doing. Service was sharp. Our waitress had that no-nonsense, bit-of-a-tease energy. Proper London. Never hovered, didn't push us out, and no fuss about the tip. Let us eat, drink, breathe, and get our bearings. We sat outside, under the red umbrella. Sun peeking through the trees. Locals walking their dogs, tourists trying to look like they belong. Great crowd. Better view. Felt like I was back, in all the best ways.
