Volcano chicken, Sesame beef, chicken fried rice, white rice, crab Rangoon.
Jose M.

I recently moved in around the area and saw people recommend this place, so I went to try it. Great customer service, Allen was the one to help me out and recommend me what to order! I ordered takeout, the wait was quick, like around 15 minutes. Everything was really good, I ordered the volcano chicken, sesame beef, and chicken fried rice. I recommend eating here, and for sure I'll be returning again.

Chicken fried rice

The food was very good. Big menu too choose from. The host was very friendly and helpful. It's not a very big place but it was nice and cozy to eat there but would also be good to take home. Definitely will be back.

This is my favorite Chinese spot in Denver. It is auuhhhmmmaaazzziiinngg. I get the Mongolian beef with no green onions! Staff is nice and never get my order wrong! Big portions!

Ordered here for the first time. By the time I arrived home, the chow fun noodles had conform to the to go box, which I don't like when that happens to my noodles. We've had some flavor, the noodles was OK. I will try something else next time.

Chow Mein Spicy Chicken Wings

So glad I finally found a Chinese spot I feel is worth it! I doordashed from here on two different occasions, actually 3 lol. I ordered the chow mein and chicken wings twice. I recently ordered the Pad Thai and cheese wontons. The portion size, believe the reviews. The portion size is big and it takes me a few days to finish it. That's how big the portions are. The quick service is amazing too, I never have to wait too long and when the food reaches my house it's still steaming and that's how I like my food. I ordered dessert from here twice, and I would pass on the $7 small slice of cake. Not worth the price. However everything is definitely worth it. I do wonder when restaurants stopped putting crab in cheese wontons. I know it says Cheese Wontons, but the crab is what definitely makes them. These cheese wontons were a little sweet but they were still good. The fried chicken wings I hoped to be better. They're not as spicy as I'd like them to be. I feel like Thai spicy means, borderline death lol jk I just expect it to be really spicy. I loved the chow mein. Reminds me of my favorite spot back home. I also loved the pad Thai, I just wish their was a spice level. Lol. Definitely going to be a regular! Chow Mein Chicken Wings Pad Thai Cheese Wontons Cheesecake Chocolate Cake

Everything is really good, fresh and cooked in the moment and big portions‼ definitely recommend coming here

Amazing!! 10/10

Awesome vegan options. Delicious and flavorful! Order at least once a month or more. Great customer service. They noticed most of our order was vegan. And they were concerned about the fried rice. Had egg in it. But that was for my wife which is not vegan thry said she was willing to make a new one vegan. But was not necessary. Overall amazing. Spicy edamame is the best I've had.

The food is absolutely incredible! The portions are generous and the value for money is outstanding. I have a particular fondness for their Orange chicken and sesame chicken. Without a doubt, I would give them a perfect 5-star rating in every aspect!

Sesame chicken

I came in last night after work and had great service over the phone with this nice young lady! She took my order for just Sesame Chicken and fried rice. Very basic. I showed up, picked up my food. The restaurant has the cutest dine in ever seen... However closed due to that meddling virus. First off, the portions are very generous and I enjoyed the presentation of the Sesame Chicken. It appeared appetizing and with two soy sauce packets, I finally had my first bite in. Also, they forgot my fork, but this is some trend I've been noticing at sooo many Chinese restaurants where my utensils are not included. Oh well, no big deal. The crunchiness of the chicken was not there, appeared very soft and the chicken inside had some off taste to me. One of the bites felt rather strong and I didn't eat all of the meal. I might come back and give the Salt & Pepper Chicken a try.

Uncle Henry's personality and communication changed that and made him feel comfortable and at ease. Thank you, I really appreciate you for that. My Husband enjoyed everything I ordered. The combination fried rice, lo mein, and chicken wings were made to order...hot, fresh, and delicious. It isn't a large restaurant, it's more like a take-out joint, with dining in as an option, we dined in and got to enjoy the warmth present of this family run business. We needed that. They ran out of roasted duck so if you're looking for that recommend not coming in late. Got the double meet dish with char siu pork and roasted pork belly. Tasted good, but pretty fatty for both. Not sure if they already used up the good parts of the meat and that's what they had leftover, but this is what's keeping them from being a 5. Otherwise it tasted good, I could see the potential. The stir fried beef noodles is as classic as it gets. No notes , adding sriracha is a personal touch for me and it tasted familiar. Otherwise, open to trying it again if their meat isn't as fatty. Prices were reasonable too.

I always get the Mongolian beef with fried rice (no egg; I'm allergic) My husband always gets the General Tso chicken with the fried rice and he ALWAYS orders this and never has a complaint. My son gets the Sesames chicken also with fried rice and it's sweet and crunchy as they fry the chicken to mix in their sauce and it's worth every penny. Every time! We were told that Star Kitchen has a good dim sum service and our experience bore out that recommendation. Star Kitchen has 40 tables which is not enough for the demand so reservations are an absolute necessity. One cannot do this over the phone or on the web. Rather, they have a check-in system in the lobby which is only available about 15 minutes before the 10:00 store opening. Odd but effective since it likely eliminates problems with no-shows. Be advised there is a line before the lobby opens! Star Kitchen seats about 120 diners. They only had 5 carts which is far too few for the demand. Two carts are devoted to steamed, two for fried, and one for tofu and congee. The selection of fare was superb and featured the classics. I will say that the kitchen ensured the carts were always stocked. The lack of carts makes the wait between helpings longer than we would have preferred but the quality and taste more than made up for the delay. We started with chrysanthemum tea, ordered a mix of both steamed and fried classics then finished with honey tofu (which we highly recommend!) Six dishes plus dessert is more than enough for two adults. The food is excellent though the ambiance is classic Chinese eatery - functionality punctuated by bizarre objets d'art and random piles of boxes and linens. Go early and sit tight as your patience will be richly rewarded.

Carts rotate and display their options to you frequently as you enjoy your meal. So tou can order plates as quickly as you finish them. I recommend the pork buns and pork ribs. My favorite this time around were the leek dumplings with a side of noodles. We finished off with a coconut bun that wasn't too sweet. It was the perfect finish to the meal with ample amounts of tea. Any Google search for "shrimp chow mein" shows stir-fried egg noodles with shrimp and vegetables. Instead, I was served mixed vegetables with a separate bag of crispy noodles. The fried rice in my photo was my own substitution for the white rice that normally comes with the lunch special, so that's not the issue. I already ate the shrimp before taking the photo, which is why they aren't pictured. The lunch portion only came with about four shrimp. If this restaurant serves a different regional style of chow mein, that should be clearly explained on the menu so customers know what they're ordering. When you order chow mein, you expect actual chow mein noodles--not vegetables with a side of rice and a bag of crunchy noodles. Unfortunately, this wasn't what I ordered or expected, and I wouldn't order it again.
